I'll have my fingers crossed for your scans @Blxo94 and @GreenGecko36. I think it's totally normal for symptoms to start dissipating at that time but I totally understand the panic.

I'm ok thank you. Was starting to get stressed over the last couple of days because I was feeling better but I tried my Doppler last night and found a very faint hb! So whilst that doesn't mean everything is ok, at least I feel slightly more hopeful that it could be.

Today we have been out all day for DHs birthday and now I am absolutely wiped out and can barely move. The nausea has returned too so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

If my scan on Tuesday is ok I am going to bite the bullet and do my self referral to the hospital, as I'll be 9+6.

Blxo94 · 16/08/2021 18:09

Scan tomorrow and Im not coping very well. I suffer with real bad PTSD and I just keep having flashbacks today. I've had many breakdowns.

I'm just convinced there's no heartbeat tomorrow or the nuchal fold at the back will measure to think and I will be at higher right of the trisomys. I'm just terrified. I just wish I was young and naive again like I was with my oldest sons pregnancy. I was so excited for to see baby and had no clue babies could even die. Just hate that this is how I am during pregnancy. It's not enjoying 💔 its torture and exhausting. Can't stop crying and having panic attacks and I don't even want to go tomorrow because I just can't deal with it.

I just needed to vent guys. And I know you get it. Some people don't and think we are paranoid or negative! Hate it

treesall · 16/08/2021 18:20

I'm sorry you're feeling so petrified @Blxo94. Try and take deep breaths. This is a different pregnancy and there's every chance of a good outcome this time. I do totally understand how you feel though, it is absolutely hideous. What time is your scan tomorrow?

I have a scan tomorrow too. I felt better about it because I heard a heartbeat with a home Doppler a couple of days ago, so was slightly less panicked, but tonight I just saw a bit of bright red stringy blood down the loo when I went for a wee (sorry tmi). Nothing on the paper but I am totally freaking out now. I never had any bleeding in my successful pregnancy. 😭

Blxo94 · 16/08/2021 18:24

@treesall it's at 11.10am tomorrow, what time is yours at?

And it could be anything darling, didn't I remember you saying you had a hematoma? It could be that I had a hematoma this time too and I had a bit bleeding ❤️

treesall · 16/08/2021 18:34

No I didn't have a haematoma this time so I've no idea what it was. Very weird but just hoping I don't get any more. I'm scared to go to the loo and check.

My scan is at 10am tomorrow. Will be thinking of you and fingers crossed for both of us xx

HalGem99 · 16/08/2021 18:46

Good luck to you all tomorrow! Xx

GreenGecko36 · 16/08/2021 18:55

Really sorry to hear how you're feeling @Blxo94 - yes I totally get it. Having to go back into the same exact room where we've been told several times before that it "wasn't what they would expect to see at this stage" is properly terrifying. And I truly hate sitting in the waiting area watching happy people leaving, great for them and everything but maybe they could put me somewhere away from that....
Trying hard to remember that the odds at 12wks after a good scan/heartbeat are way way in favour of a positive outcome, but experience teaches us that lots of the statistics are cr*p.

The last couple of days I've had some mild cramping too, anyone had this and it be fine??

I really feel for you @Blxo94, no idea if it'll help at all but maybe a call to your midwife (or a Tommy's one?) in the morning to talk might be in some way reassuring?

Good luck to you too @treesall for tomorrow!!

Blxo94 · 16/08/2021 19:11

I've had cramping the last few days. I'm trying to put it to stretching and pulling pains though! And thank you all for you kind words.

Hopefully we both get some good outcomes tomorrow and we can continue to support each other ❤️

treesall · 16/08/2021 21:57

Thanks for the positive wishes @GreenGecko36.

I've realised that it wasn't blood I saw earlier, I got it wrong so my panic is over. Trying to think positively for tomorrow and I have everything crossed for you @Blxo94

Daffodil21 · 17/08/2021 11:51

Hope all has gone ok today @treesall @Blxo94 x

Thank you @Daffodil21. All was perfect. I can't believe it! Obviously still nowhere near out of the woods but I feel like we are at least in with a chance now.

How are you getting on with your little man? Xx

Daffodil21 · 17/08/2021 12:29

@treesall yessss! Brilliant news! I'm so pleased for you!!!!

All good thank you! He is an absolute dream 🥰

HalGem99 · 17/08/2021 12:46

@treesall fantastic news!!

@Daffodil21 bet you still can't believe it!! I've got my next growth scan in two weeks and if they aren't happy with the growth either way, I will be induced there and then but if they are happy then I will be induced in 3 weeks time! So either way, I will be having a baby in the next 3 weeks! Scary!!! Xx

Blxo94 · 17/08/2021 13:06

We have a perfect baby ❤️ measuring ahead again! So now due 26th February! Measuring 12 weeks +3 days.

NT measured 1.3mm which is really good!

@treesall I'm so happy you got good news today too! How far on are you now?!

And @Daffodil21 I'm so glad baby boy is doing well and you are too!x

GreenGecko36 · 18/08/2021 11:21

Yay I get to share good news too!
Scan this morning was good - a very wriggly baby measuring ahead again so that puts me at 13 wks today! It is with massive relief that I can finally say I've officially made it to the second trimester for the first time ever 😁
I know that it still doesn't mean we're totally in the clear yet - I won't be running out to buy tiny socks or anything - but for now I'm just going to enjoy this feeling x

So happy everyone else has had a good week too!!

treesall · 18/08/2021 11:40

@Blxo94 and @GreenGecko36 this is fantastic news for both of you! So pleased to read your updates. Yay!!!!!!!

Daffodil21 · 18/08/2021 11:49

I'm so so pleased to see all your beautiful updates!

@GreenGecko36 it's so odd because it feels completely natural. I can't believe we've only known him 9 days! I was worried it would be a bit of a shock as tbh I felt a bit detached through the whole of the pregnancy and wouldn't let myself think it could be ok (I'm sure you all know!) but it hasn't at all and it just feels totally right (even though we have no idea what we're doing 😂)

Blxo94 · 23/08/2021 23:24

Hi guys, how are we all getting on?

Just thought I'd pop on and see how everyone is.

@GreenGecko36 by any chance are you having any weird discharge? I've just had to make another post on here as I'm having weird discharge and I'm quite worried. The girls that replied have said they had this or having this and they are OK... Just panicking. Also I've noticed I'm getting some colestrum leaking from my boobs and wondering if this is normal at this stage too? I'm 13 weeks and 2 days!

GreenGecko36 · 24/08/2021 17:47

Hi @Blxo94, I've had a search around and found your other thread - nope I haven't had anything like that, what did your midwife say?
Tmi warning - I'm getting quite a lot of milky discharge, sometimes enough that I can feel it and rush the the bathroom to check for blood, but I don't think this is unusual.

Hope everyone else is ok - @HalGem99 any sign yet? @treesall hope your scan isn't too far away, and @Daffodil21 hope you're finding a routine with the new member of the family 😊
It's been a week since my scan and waiting to see if the specialist fetal medicine team will recommend any more before 20wks... I hope so!

HalGem99 · 24/08/2021 17:54

@GreenGecko36 I had a lot of milky discharge throughout my pregnancy to the point where I could feel it coming out and it would be in my knickers and on the tissue and I always ran to the bathroom fearing it was blood! But it is completely normal.

No sign of baby yet! Had a private scan today and she is fine. I've got my growth scan at the hospital on Monday so will know more then. Picture attached!

How are you getting on?

treesall · 24/08/2021 18:11

Hi ladies.

Wow @HalGem99 lovely to see that little face!

I am feeling quite anxious because I am waiting for my harmony test results. CRP said a week which it's now been so I'm hoping to hear in the next day or two.

It's a bit ridiculous really - I have three scans in the next 9 days! After I did my booking in referral the EPU called and said because of my history they want me to have an early scan which is tomorrow. I then have my 12 week scan at CRP on Thursday next week and my NHS one on Friday. 😬

Blxo94 · 24/08/2021 18:11

@GreenGecko36 I'm having like a orange/yellow snot like discharge. Sorry about the TMI. I have tried getting in touch with triage twice but they aren't concerned which is annoy because doesn't help my anxiety really. Would rather they seen me and made sure it was OK instead of hearing over the phone xx

Blxo94 · 24/08/2021 18:24

@HalGem99 what a beautiful baby you have there 😍

treesall · 25/08/2021 12:10

Morning ladies. I had my scan this morning. Baby was measuring 11+1 and all of so far! I really cannot believe I've made it to 11 weeks.

I have my booking in appointment tomorrow. Really don't want it because it feels just too soon, and like I'm tempting fate but I know in reality that if it's going to go wrong it won't be because of having an appointment!

I'm having it with the home birth midwife but not sure whether they will see me again once they know I'm under RM treatment. 🤞

How are you all? x
