20weeks scan all went well- crazy how detailed you can see all their body. All measured how it should and baby is growing well. Feel very reassured now 🥰
I do have an anterior placenta but apparently it's not low down so that's good too.

@Blossom428 ah that's great news!!! Did they confirm it is a boy!!!? My placenta is anterior too but also previa :( x

I haven't felt a kick as such yet, just flutters which must be below the placenta as it's quite low down.

@Blossom428 yeah this is the strange thing I'm getting proper kicks now like full on makes me jump and go woahhh can even see them from looking now too! So I have everything crossed that my placenta had shifted!!

How are you doing?

I’m okay, I have my early scan on Thursday and I’m freaking out! I have pretty much zero symptoms apart from the odd cramp, even my boob tenderness has subsided and my constipation has gone so I just feel as though I’m waiting for the bad news! Need to stop googling!

@mabelelsie honestly don't panic! My symptoms came and went early on! The only thing that was consistent for me was sickness, but not everyone gets that, @Blossom428 didn't have symptoms early on and was really worried too! But all was fine!!

How far are you now? Xx

@mabelelsie yeah I literally had no symptoms at all. Didn't even feel pregnant or any different to normal... so please try not to worry. At least Thursday isn't too far away now ☺️ how far will you be then?

I've just ordered some wallpaper swatches for the nursery... far tooo excited 😆😆😆

Thank you so much @AnxiousAnnie86 I keep expecting to be sick, my mum was sick with her pregnancies from day dot to birth!
I have been pregnant before when I was quite young and had an abortion at 13/14 weeks and I didn’t get sickness so that might be something, although I did have a few days of massive nausea which made me think I might be pregnant.
I’m 7+3. What are you now?!

That’s reassuring, thank you @Blossom428. Some more symptoms would just ease my nerves massively but I guess I only have to wait 2x more days. I’m 7+3 so will be 7+5 on scan day.

@mabelelsie i stil get super anxious now and I feel her kicking constantly I don't think it goes! Some people are the chosen ones who don't get morning sickness you maybe one 😂 I had it so bad I had to take medication! Right up until 18 weeks! I'm 24 now and it's gone for the most part!

@Blossom428 oooooh how exciting what have you chosen? We've had our nursery wallpaper up it's so cute! I've attached ours, I've not had my whooping cough yet!!! X

@Blossom428 @AnxiousAnnie86 I am doing ok thanks. I am 16 weeks on Thursday and feeling so much less sick now which is a relief 😊. I'm trying to persuade my OH that we should have a gender scan on mothers day but he is worried the day will be ruined if I am told it's a boy 😂

@SS123456 do ittttt!!!!! That would be so lovely!!! Would it be ruined? It would be an adjustment I'm sure but you'd know then and come round to that!! I loved loved finding out! Made it feel so real x

@AnxiousAnnie86 I won't lie I will be devastated if it's boy (special needs run in the boys in OHs family) but at least it would give me longer to come around to the idea before baby is born the earlier I find out. I feel like if we wait until the 20 week scan I'll be so focused on the gender when we are there that I won't take in the fact they are checking the baby for other things too and may miss or not be able to focus on anything they may want to discuss. Maybe I'll leave it for mothers day and try and book one for next week instead 🤞🏻😊

@SS123456 I really hope it's a girl for you! I have everything crossed, I found out as soon as I could you are patient waiting 😂

@AnxiousAnnie86 I have zero patience it is only because of my OH, I would have booked for the day I turn 16 weeks if it was down to me 😂😂

Awww @AnxiousAnnie86 that's such cute wall paper.
Well I'm thinking a safari type theme. Only one wall of wall paper though with a half of panelling so won't be much of it. Then rattan lamp shade and couple of basket and wood things.
There's a couple of different swatches I've ordered so I'll see what I think.

@SS123456 aw 16weeks! That's good you are feeling a little less sick too! Completely understand about the sex, but still wouldn't be guaranteed that a boy would mean he would have special needs. We found out at 19weeks, so a little bit longer, but worth the few weeks extra wait haha (finally convinced OH).

We've booked a scan for Sunday afternoon 😁🙊
