Guys.......
ITS A BOYYYY. I'm in such shock haha. I was for sure it was a girl. But we are over the moon. My partners reaction on the video is priceless as we popped the cannon.
So happy 🥰

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/03/2021 08:39

@Blossom428 oooooh my goshhhhh!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!! I was sure it was a girl too 💙💙💙

It makes it feel so real doesn't it!!! X

Thank youuu @AnxiousAnnie86 . I've been busy looking at boy bits today haha 🙈 must resist to buy things! I'm so bad haha.

@TheOrangeMonster did you manage to speak to the midwife about this? I've not experienced this so can't really comment I'm afraid.

Blossom428 · 01/03/2021 18:46

I've been getting the worst shooting pains in my coccyx it's awful.. keeps coming and going. I rang the MAU and they just said it was because our pelvis is adjusting and moving so things are loose and may get pains. Said they can refer to physio should it continue.
I really hope it doesn't- really struggled today moving around!

TheOrangeMonster · 01/03/2021 20:42

@AnxiousAnnie86 no, it kind of sorted itself out by the end of the day and things went back to normal. I found some info online which said sometimes orgasm can cause rupture of small blood vessels in there because there's already so much extra blood.
Sorry your midwife is useless, I feel like my entire maternity team is useless, doesn't fill one with much confidence does it?!

@Blossom428 you found out! Yay!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/03/2021 21:01

@Blossom428 h and m and Zara have so much cute stuff!

I have the worst back pain it's absolutely awful' I have bought a big birth ball thing which apparently works wonders for it! Maybe you could try that, I got it on Amazon? X

Blossom428 · 01/03/2021 21:35

I've just been through H&M and Zara and saved loads of stuff 😂😂 @AnxiousAnnie86

Yeahh I might try that actually. The midwife said about a birthing ball too.
Bad that you've got bad back pain too... I really hope it doesn't last the rest of pregnancy for us. But I know ours bumps are only going to grow bigger and get heavier!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/03/2021 22:18

@Blossom428 this is the one I got, it's good as it comes with an exercise book for all the trimesters etc! Only just got husband to blow it up tonight so will hopefully start tomorrow, I already feel like my bump is massive and I feel really uncomfortable already! God help me in 14 weeks!!

Have you thought of any names for a boy yet? X x

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 01/03/2021 22:30

It's not come up showing which you have...
@AnxiousAnnie86
Well I've got a list but we haven't gone through it yet. OH keeps suggesting really shit names as a joke and it's starting to annoy me, as I want a good contribution haha!!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/03/2021 22:33

@Blossom428 that's exactly what mine does!!!! He says some I suggest are "okay" so they end up on the list, but he never ever suggests any! And just looks around room saying stupid things it's so annoying and childish! I know he does it just to wind me up 😂

Hahaha exactly like mine @AnxiousAnnie86 .
Fab thanks for sending that. I'll get one ordered.

We've finally booked in for our pram consultation in April when the shops open. I can't wait!!! 😆

AnxiousAnnie86 · 02/03/2021 08:00

@Blossom428 we didn't book one I hope we don't regret our decision! We just went off a recommendation!!! The only thing that worries me is it doesn't have a bassinet thing, she will be in a carrier for the most part, as with having the dog it'll be easier then a pram.

We have booked May 5th off work to go get main bits! We need to make a list of everything we need as I keep thinking of things!!!

Congratulations @Blossom428! How exciting! Excited to hear your name! 🎉

I think I might be needing a pillow or ball soon 🙈 @AnxiousAnnie86 my bloat is unreal and constipation is unbearable, I woke up in agony last night! Does anyone have any tips? 😭

AnxiousAnnie86 · 02/03/2021 09:10

@mabelelsie oh god I had it so so bad!! Try fybogel really helps! I just bought another pack of 30 😂

OP posts:
mabelelsie · 02/03/2021 09:17

It’s awful isn’t it @AnxiousAnnie86 I couldn’t believe the pain I was in all night (although I did eat a big plate of pasta and garlic bread which wouldn’t help)!
Will order that ASAP, thank you! I’ve also ordered dulcosoft, the joys!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 02/03/2021 11:30

Just left the consultant appointment
So I’ve got to have an mri at 28 weeks, and an ultrasound, c section will be at 38 weeks all being well, or before that if there are complications at 28 weeks, I have now got to start daily injections as I’m high risk for blood clots too as have had one previously, had to call dh down to the hospital to learn how to do them :(

Blossom428 · 02/03/2021 15:41

Thank you @mabelelsie - sorry to hear about the constipation- I had it bad first 12 weeks- but touch wood it's calmed down now. Make sure you are drinking loads of fluids, fruits and just go when you actually need to go and do push to hard haha! 🙈🙈

@AnxiousAnnie86 oh gosh- that's a lot to start doing injections everyday- but if it helps prevent the clots then that will be worth it.
Least they are keeping on monitoring you and what's happening inside. And I guess with a planned section you have a date to work towards and be ready 😆

FemaleLady · 02/03/2021 19:08

@Blossom428 congratulationsssss.... happy for you...

@AnxiousAnnie86 ouch hey, but i feel if it helps then dive in.. everything will work out just fine.. with the monitoring and all you are in great hands

So it turns out i cant eat food that i cooked. been sick sick after i decided to suprise my partner with a meal prepared by me,i havnt cooked since i found out i was carrying my rainbow girl. I didnt even get to eat the food, at all. oohh the smel of the meal.gosh.. anybody had somthing similar?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 02/03/2021 19:59

@FemaleLady I cook from scratch every single day and honestly never eat any of it!! My sister had the same, I'm sick of the smell of it by time it's ready!!

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 02/03/2021 20:57

@FemaleLady thanksss ☺️

I've been okay with my own cooking- mine is just more I just never know what I fancy. And then I'll end up eating something random.

SS123456 · 03/03/2021 07:41

@AnxiousAnnie86 that's rubbish about the injections but it's great you are being monitored so closely

AnxiousAnnie86 · 03/03/2021 08:56

@SS123456 yeah the injections I can live with, tbh it's the mri that's making me really really nervous :( x

OP posts:
SS123456 · 03/03/2021 09:11

@AnxiousAnnie86 I haven't had one myself but my mum has. She said it was a little claustrophobic and quite loud but she said it wasn't really horrific or anything. Hopefully it will be over before you know it x

Blossom428 · 03/03/2021 09:58

I've had one before @AnxiousAnnie86 - like @SS123456 says it's does all feel a little close in there- however you get to pick what music to listen to, then just have to zone out. It's over before you know it. X

AnxiousAnnie86 · 03/03/2021 10:01

@Blossom428 @SS123456 it's more the fact I have really bad health anxiety, so any medical procedures totally and utterly freak me out 😂
