I’m glad you are getting well taken care of. There is always something to worry over. Take care @Mctm123

How’s everyone today? I had an awful sleep, ended up googling to death and then convincing myself I was doomed! This is not fun.
Lots of stomach cramping again today and milky discharge, did anyone else get cramps?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2021 10:03

@mabelelsie aw you sound just like I did at 4-6 weeks!!! I had cramping back ache and sore boobs on and offf! Then the sickness came at 6 weeks 😱 just make the most of this time in case it comes for you too xx

@AnxiousAnnie86 symptom twins!! Hopefully that’s a good sign for me. Having a really bad anxiety day today, thankfully I have work this afternoon to distract me.
I’ve also just found out that pregnant woman can’t be around pregnant sheep or lambs and we are just about to start lambing 🤦‍♀️

Have you managed to whittle any names down, I seen you had a few lovely ones. @AnxiousAnnie86?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2021 11:53

@mabelelsie you cant be around sheep or lambs???

Yeah just to Eleanor and Connie for the moment, Porbably more to Eleanor as that was my DH grandmas name and babys middle name will be Ameila, which was my grandmas name xxx

@AnxiousAnnie86 yes you must avoid any lambing events it you are pregnant x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2021 13:16

@SS123456 well! You learn something new everyday! I never knew that! X

OP posts:
SS123456 · 18/02/2021 14:03

@AnxiousAnnie86 I only knew because when I have taken my son to lambing day events in the past there are always large signs everywhere saying that pregnancy women must not enter

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2021 14:35

@SS123456 ooooh! I saw on another post someone guessed girl for you!!! X

SS123456 · 18/02/2021 15:11

@AnxiousAnnie86 haha yes I'm clinging onto those girl guesses 😂

mabelelsie · 18/02/2021 15:50

@AnxiousAnnie86 I love the name Eleanor, my great Aunty was called Eleanor and she was a great in our family! One of her grandchildren is called Elena which I thought was lovely and lots of cousins have used it as a middle name for their babies.

Yes, @AnxiousAnnie86 and @SS123456 you shouldn’t be near ewes given birth or new born lambs for risk of infection! We had a problem with a sheep today who had prolapsed (yuk, sorry!) and I just had to stand back and watch as my husband helped, it’s going to be very hard over the next few weeks!!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2021 16:51

@mabelelsie Elena!!! I never thought of that! My mother in law is called Elaine,

Is this your first baby? Any preference either way? X

@AnxiousAnnie86 I also like Elouise which is quite similar 😊. A few months back I was personalising hand gel bottles for people and when I did an Elouise I though the name looks nice written

We like Jessie and Leila as our girls names. My nan was Jessie and my middle name is Jessica after her so I thought it could be nice to carry on the tradition

@mabelelsie oh no how hard for you to have to just stand back and watch 😔

SS123456 · 18/02/2021 17:28

@AnxiousAnnie86 just found the photo and it was actually Eloise!

@AnxiousAnnie86 I like Jesse for a boy too but my OH isn't so keen. I have a Jaiden already so I thought it could be nice to have another J name

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2021 19:34

@SS123456 Jenson? X

@AnxiousAnnie86 yes, 1st baby so very exciting! We had an early loss last October hence my anxiousness!

I would love a wee girl as all my best friends have given birth to girls in the last year, but honestly don’t mind and if we are lucky enough to make it all the way through we will leave it a surprise.
My hunger has came back tonight which is nice, I’ve been off food majorly the last few days.
How are you feeling?

I love the name Jessie!! @SS123456

AnxiousAnnie86 · 19/02/2021 08:06

@mabelelsie I think that's totally normal to be anxious! It's just such an awful feeling and I think it takes away from the excitement, I was a miscarriage in 2019, it then took us exactly a year to fall pregnant again, the month I feel pregnant we had decided to take a few months off actively ttc as we were due to start fertility testament into January! So went and got a puppy and tried to take our mind off it low and behold the day after we got puppy we found out I was pregnant! I still spend everyday totally anxious now! So don't worry about asking questions on here for reassurance! Thays what it's here for! Google is not your friend and full of horror stories! X

@mabelelsie pregnancy after mc is really hard so I completely get your worries. It took us a year to conceive and that ended in an early mc in October which was devastating after trying for so long. We were very lucky to fall again just two months later in December but like @AnxiousAnnie86 we were due to start fertility treatment in January too so it was good timing. I was getting worried as I didn't feel I had time on my side at 37 years old and the longer it took the crazier the gap between my first child and this one was getting (DS will be 9 in April). First babies are super exciting though 😊. You are very patient waiting for the sex of the baby! I am desperate to find out what we are having

AnxiousAnnie86 · 19/02/2021 09:32

@SS123456 we had such a similar journey didn't we!!!

Would you have anymore after this one do you think? Xx

SS123456 · 19/02/2021 09:38

@AnxiousAnnie86 I know it's crazy! No this is going to be our first and last together as we have too many kids between us. I have a nearly 9 year old DS from a previous relationship and my OH also has two kids from his previous relationship, a DD who is 3 and a DS who is nearly 10 but has severe autism and is a nightmare when he comes over so more like a toddler to look after (He abuses everyone, upsets my DS etc). If it weren't for my OHs DS we probably would sadly but he consumes everything

SS123456 · 19/02/2021 09:38

@AnxiousAnnie86 how about you? x

mabelelsie · 19/02/2021 09:45

Thank you both so much @AnxiousAnnie86 and @SS123456 It’s great to speak to people who understand, I haven’t told a soul and probably won’t until 12 weeks.
I keep thinking of it as ‘the hardest past is getting pregnant and now statsicially you’re more likely to have a baby than not’ but my brain flips the statistics!
I’m so sorry that you both have went through miscarriage, it really is the most painful thing and takes a bit of magic away from pregnancy.
Your wee one must be so excited for a sibling!! A lot of my friends had their first at 37 so I wouldn’t worry.

I’m 5 weeks today so that feels an achievement! Still getting cramps on and off (feels like period is coming!), slight tenderness in boobs (but that comes and goes, again scary 😂), lots of milky cm and diarrhoea (lovely!).

Blossom428 · 19/02/2021 10:22

So we caved and we've booked a private scan for next Thursday haha! Only a week earlier. But we can get it in an envelope and do a cannon or something.
Anyone got any other ideas for reveal? I don't want it to be cringey, but just thought it would be cute for us as memories and also to show family.
