@Blossom428 I'm doing okay thanks! She was the absolute dream until last night!!!! She was literally awake every half an hour wanting feeding! Before that we've been having to wake her to feed! I'm breast feeding, she is so so so cute! I actually can't cope

I'm good thanks- feel like time has started to slow down. 36weeks on Thursday. I wish I knew when he was going to arrive, I'm a massive planner haha, and the uncertainty is killing me hahah 🙈🙈🙈

@AnxiousAnnie86 every half an hour is loads! What did she weigh when she was born? So glad you are all ok xx

@Blossom428 literally could be any time for you!!! My contractions started at 37 weeks!!! I'm so excited to see the next announcement and hear some names!!! Are you there yet?

We had a list of 30 which we narrowed to five finally, then when she was born my husband just said her name and we both knew that was it! We'd never even mentioned it before! Guinevere! Such a big name but suits her so well, our little Guinny

@SS123456 it is so much! She was better last night, it was every 1.5 hours little more bearable! But I'm so shattered! She is so so so worth it!

I'm starting to feel uncomfortable- achey hips and pains. Been awake since 4.30am just not able to sleep. (Doesn't help the birds tweeting so bloody loud 🙈)
So ready to finish work now- 2 more weeks to go!
Have my 36midwife appt today. So I think it maybe me next 😆😆 we also have a very long list, going to try cut some names off this weekend.

@Blossom428 ooo exciting, not too long to go! 😁. I'm suffering with sore hips at night too. I really want to sleep on my back as they don't hurt at all in that position!

I'm 31 weeks today so not too much behind you all now. 😊 I'm only finishing work the day I go into labour and then having 2 weeks leave so I think I'm in for a bit of a rough ride. My sons dad is also taking me back through family court at the moment (to reduce his time with my DS 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️) which is stressful and taking up loads and time. I have to submit statements and evidence to the court today and have a court hearing next week. I'm just really hoping his dad doesn't dispute things in court so we end up with a 2 day court hearing I have to attend with a new born in August/September time 😬

Sorry to hear about all the courts, that is not stress you need when in third trimester! Hope it goes smoothly for you and you get the results you want.

@Blossom428 the sleep disturbance isn't fun is it? 😕 I've had really excruciating rib pain on one side from about two weeks ago, can barely be upright for more than about an hour without it becoming unbearable, it's really affecting my ability to work. Thankfully as soon as I lie down it goes away within seconds, the doctor thinks it's something to do with the baby's position.
I'm fed up now, want to have the baby already. 😅

It's awful @TheOrangeMonster - I had it really bad in the first trimester, 2nd I managed to sleep well again. But this past week I just can't get comfy and wide awake.

That doesn't sound good about your rib pain- I've had some rib pain but it feels like a stitch kind of going across it like things are really stretching.
I'm loving being pregnant and will miss my bump so much as I have had a pretty straight forward/ smooth pregnancy so can't really complain, but I'm feeling these next few weeks are going to get a lot harder 🙈🙈

Midwife appointment went well today- no need for additional growth scan (was kinda hoping for it so I could see baby again haha).

@TheOrangeMonster I feel for you, the insomnia absolutely killed me, in the last few weeks I was literally getting no sleep, and the rib pain, oh my goodness!!! Nothing at all helped either, sometimes a bath? X

@Blossom428 thank you! My ex is an abusive guy so it's painful dealing with him but the courts seem to be seeing through him now thankfully 🤞🏻. I'm am actually feeling pretty good apart from being a bit uncomfortable at night. My pregnancy with my son was horrible at every stage so this feels like a dream in comparison 😂

@TheOrangeMonster you poor thing that sounds horrific! Would something like a hot water bottle or ice pack on the rib area help? Or at least encourage baby to move away from your ribs??

I’m late by 3days and sore boobs had bad cramping last week now it’s settled down no af sore boobs and nipples hip bone pain and back ache bfn on digital but faint BFp on strip test Please advice if you have any thanks

Oh gosh sorry to hear that @SS123456 . Hopefully this can be the end of eveything once it's all gone through courts!

@Keeleymiles296 I would do a test again in a couple of days. Have you done another since? Fingers crossed for you!

I've started the raspberry leaf tea now and began eating dates, pineapple is on the shopping list, going to try all the tricks and pray it works haha!

@Blossom428 someone on the news claimed they ate a whole pineapple in one go and it made them go into labour 😂
I reckon it'll happen when it happens but that can't stop the wishful thinking 😅
Had a scare on my way back from holiday yesterday where baby barely moved for literally about 9 hours and I got really worried - but as soon as we went into the hospital to get it checked and they put it on the monitor it started going mad. How embarrassing!

Typical @TheOrangeMonster but least you went in, so much better to get the reassurance!!

@TheOrangeMonster when I went in twice for reduced movement they said that's what normally happens 😂 it's awful when they stop
Moving! Guin literally didn't move on either monitoring and I had to go for scans both times! But I now know that when she is asleep she really is just dead to the world!!!! Absolutely nothing wakes her 😂

Hope you ladies are all doing well??? Glad it's cooled down for you! I found the last few weeks unbearable in the heat.

I will say I do miss being pregnant though! Never ever thought I'd say that! I miss my bump! Little Guin update for you all :) x

@Blossom428 I'm doing breast feeding, I honestly thought I would hate it, I was dreading it, but it's not as bad as I thought!!! We gave her a top up formula feed last night but she threw up everywhere after, so just going to stick to BF For now. I have pumped and put some in a bottle which she took.

I'm planning to breastfeed but a little concerned as I've heard so many people say they've had issues with it. I've bought an Elvie pump in preparation (John Lewis had them on sale!) Hopefully it'll be useful even if I end up pumping and bottle feeding as I'd like Bean to have breast milk one way or another.

So...baby is apparently on track to be more than 9lb by my due date 😱 what am I going to do??

Aaaand....they're changing my midwife again. I almost snorted when they said "it'll now be Trisha from the 'continuity care' team". I haven't seen one midwife twice and nobody knows my details fully when I go there. 🤦‍♀️ I'm writing an official complaint to send, it really is completely ridiculous.

@TheOrangeMonster haha it wouldn't be if she wasn't nocturnal! She sleeps alllllllll day then at night she's like a blooming owl!

9lb!!!!! Oh my gosh! Guin was 6.7!!! The four other women on my ward all had babies over 10lb!! One was 10.9! Have you still managed to hold off finding out???
