@Blossom428 I don't think many people would think that 😂 I would definitely do an alliteration! We really wanted one! But didn't like an H names :(

I did think this too, like I didn't even think of it (or know it tbf)- just when I mentioned to my mum and also partners mum that was the first thing they both said 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ hence why I never mention any names haha! @AnxiousAnnie86

AnxiousAnnie86 · 25/05/2021 17:05

@Blossom428 honestly I wouldn't mention names! We wanted Heidi but our family have totally put us off it!! MIL Has been desperately trying to get our names off us now but not a chance!!!!

The boys name we had 💯 decided on began with S,

@Blossom428 I wouldn't take any notice of that at all! My dad is Jewish and both my first name and surname start with an S. Not one person on his side of the family have ever noticed or had an issue with it. Tbh it's never even been something I've thought twice about either

TheOrangeMonster · 26/05/2021 08:27

@Blossom428 there are very few combinations of initials which don't have some sort of link to something, as long as they don't spell a rude word or be something like "DDT" or something I think you're fine....

AnxiousAnnie86 · 26/05/2021 08:45

@Blossom428 yeah I really don't think it matters!! If we had found H name we liked it would of spelled HAH! 😂

Haha thanks guys @AnxiousAnnie86 @TheOrangeMonster @SS123456 - I thought the same but just annoying they have to bring it up! Won't be mentioning any others haha.

Partner is so relaxed about choosing a name and suggesting any, but if really like to try whittle it down.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 26/05/2021 14:36

@Blossom428 we still have like 30 on our list! We do have favourites but just gonna write them all down and see what she looks like

How's everyone doing?? Times getting so close now for some of us!!
@AnxiousAnnie86 you won't have long left till you meet your little one 😆😆

I'm feeling so much pressure down below it's painful! Had odd Braxton hicks like period cramps which kept coming and going for 2 days. Thought I was going into labour 😂😂🙈🙈

AnxiousAnnie86 · 04/06/2021 07:36

@Blossom428 hey lovely! Two weeks today 😱 I'm finding the movements have totally changed now and aren't so much kicks anymore as like little pressure roll feelings!

Sometimes it feels like she's trying to break out!!!

How are you feeling how long is it for you now? 5 weeks? Are you fed up yet 😂😂

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 04/06/2021 08:46

Eeeek she could come anytime!!! @AnxiousAnnie86 is she head down do you think?
Mine has been since my last midwife appt, but it's hard to tell really. I'm the same with movement like you- it's more rolls and really sticks out especially when I'm laying on my side!! Going to be weird when they are in our belly's anymore!!

I was 33weeks yesterday- so 7more to go- although I would like it if it was 5 haha 🤞🏽🤞🏽
My baby shower on Sunday which I'm looking forward to ☺️😆

AnxiousAnnie86 · 04/06/2021 09:02

@Blossom428 awww it's mine tomorrow! Just a small one, with two sisters and three best friends, can't wait though be nice to just feel like celebrating her finally! I've spent the whole pregnancy so anxious!

It's so exciting that you don't have long left to go now 😁. I'm 28 weeks so still a bit behind you. We have a 4D scan tomorrow which I am so excited for ❤️

AnxiousAnnie86 · 04/06/2021 10:15

@SS123456 I'm soooooo jealous!!!! We had one booked! But my husband wanted to cancel as he wanted a "complete suprise" I was so annoyed 😂

Awww nice @AnxiousAnnie86 . Yeah I'm just having one in my garden that the girls are doing for me, with some family too.
Nursery furniture is arriving in the next week, so I can finally start feeling a bit more organised as I feel things are everywhere atm! Just want to be able to wash stuff and put them away.

Ooooh not too far behind @SS123456 😆 jealous of your scan, we didn't end up getting one either. Send pics ☺️☺️

SS123456 · 06/06/2021 07:00

She was covering her face with her arm for most of it but it was so funny seeing her frown and smile ❤️

TheOrangeMonster · 08/06/2021 11:21

Gosh @AnxiousAnnie86 you're only two weeks away! That's crazy! I'll be at 27 weeks tomorrow, the baby is super active at the moment.

I've got my first Covid jab tomorrow morning, my second is on the 27th August (due date is 8th September so I'll definitely be changing that!)

@Blossom428 when did you start getting Braxton Hicks? Was it very recently. They say sometimes you can't feel them, I don't know if it's unusual not to have them or what...

I'm still trapped in our useless local antenatal system - most recently I was switched to another midwife yet again who didn't even have my notes and had never heard of NCAH (my condition). I'm making an official complaint to my consultant tomorrow.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/06/2021 11:27

@TheOrangeMonster I know! I can't believe it! A week on Friday! I cannot wait to meet her!

I started with braxton hicks at about 30 weeks I think I get them quite often now! But some friends I've spoken too didn't get them at all!

It's so rubbish you have experienced such poor care, my midwife got changed at 25 weeks and my new one is amazing! My old one is as rubbish! But all other care has been brilliant x

Everyone is so far along, how exciting!!

When did everyone start buying things or thinking about what they need? I’m 21 weeks now and still feel very early but I’m aware time does move fast!

Lovely 4D scan @SS123456

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/06/2021 17:35

@mabelelsie how are you doing?? I think we mainly started after 20 weeks. We bought bits here and there. Then we seemed to do it all in one go about 28 weeks! I've still got the odd bit to get!! X

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 08/06/2021 20:29

@TheOrangeMonster well it was very strong period type pains that came and went for about 3 days. But I haven't had them since. This was about 3 weeks ago so around 30weeks too. I haven't really had any tightening type Braxton hicks though.

@mabelelsie Im 34 weeks on Thursday. Same as @AnxiousAnnie86 , I started around 20weeks. Have still got the few odd bits to buy- mainly just finishing sorting the nursery so I can wash and put things away. Can't wait to get fully organised with that- need furniture to hurry up and be delivered!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 14/06/2021 10:28

How are well all?? My c section is booked for Friday! I'm so nervous! We have to isolate from tomorrow and have a Covid test, steroid injections Wednesday Thursday. I'm absolutely terrified of c section, has anyone had a planned section before? X
