I am starting this thread a bit early. I tested yesterday at 9dpo and got a faint positive, which was much darker today. My due date would be the 29 September, but this is my second child and my first was super late, so am assuming this will really be an October baby.

very different this time sorry typo!

Cafeaulait27 · 08/02/2021 15:16

@JN2021 ah cool, I’ve never wanted a vaginal birth as I don’t like the uncertainty of it all and feel more comfortable having a c section (even though I know it’s a longer recovery time and is major surgery). It’ll be my first baby if this pregnancy goes well.

I’m so thirsty too! Didn’t get that as a symptom last time but I’m the same as you in that I noticed it before I got the positive test. Aside from that I have sore boobs, very tired and I felt nauseous all morning which is something I didn’t get last time either.

How old is your daughter now? Xxx

Cafeaulait27 · 08/02/2021 15:25

@JN2021 I’m also getting lots of white CM! Which I hear is a good thing xx

Hi all!
SO beyond excited that I got my BFP today after a long 18 months TTC.
Think I’m due around 12/10!

I’m so desperate to tell everyone I know - how do you keep it secret for so long?! X

PumpkinEverything · 08/02/2021 22:40

@JN2021 I’m 5 weeks today so almost the same 😊 I had a scan last time where I was 6+2 and able to see the heartbeat!

PumpkinEverything · 08/02/2021 22:41

Anyone who had issues getting the invite from @crabette or I to the FB group, can you PM me? Figured out an easier way 😊

MrsBlue1986 · 10/02/2021 15:31

For those struggling to find the Autumn Girls 2021 Facebook group, you can manually type it in:

Facebook.com/groups/autumngirls2021

See you there xx

Jeiko · 10/02/2021 19:32

@KatyGee Congratulations! We were TTC for 15 months and due 12/10! We've already told our parents and literally a couple of close friends as we had to share with someone. We figured we'd let them know as if anything goes wrong that's who we'll lean on... really hope it doesn't come to that and everything goes smoothly.

You've got all of us here to chat to though :) xx

imisscoffee · 12/02/2021 08:48

Hi all, please can I join the Facebook group too? I've searched Autumn Girls 2021 but all I'm getting is Halloween groups 😂

Hettycake · 12/02/2021 15:19

Hi JN2021

How did your scan go? I have had mine this morning at 6+3 and it showed a healthy bean with a heartbeat :) it's all starting to feel real now.

Also does anyone else get morning sickness only in the afternoons? And any tips to reduce symptoms? I'm getting bored of dry toast now and know there are some experienced mums on here who might be able to help.
Thanks ladies x

Dreamingoutloud7 · 12/02/2021 15:37

@Hettycake imm6 weeks today, I wake up every morning feeling absolutely fine, then every evening, for maybe the past 4-5 days, I’m nauseas and nearly being sick!
I seem to remember being the same with my first but not actually being sick.
I really think this one is going to turn into actual sickness though as it’s so much worse.
Plain hula hoops are helping a little 🙈

Jeiko · 12/02/2021 18:43

@imisscoffee have you managed to find the group? If not I'll see if I can share the link with you

@Hettycake I haven't been getting morning sickness but my mums already said ginger nuts helped her. Although think she only had mild symptoms. I have seen someone else (can't remember where!) saying ginger tea helped Smile

Hettycake · 12/02/2021 20:28

Hi ladies :) congratulations on your BFPs

@Dreamingoutloud7 so glad its not just me, thought it was reaaly odd! Ohh what a great ideas hula hoops on the click and collect shopping list for tomorrow. Fingers crossed its not too much sickness for you Smile

@jeiko thanks Smile a few people have said ginger. Unfortunatley I was one of those car sick kids whos mum fed her lots of ginger, now just the smell of root ginger or biscuits makes me bad. So not sure it will work the way i want it to, but perhaps i should add giner tea to the shopping list too and give it a whirl

Thanks ladies xx

Jeiko · 12/02/2021 20:34

@Hettycake oh no 🙈 what about ginger and lemon tea? Might be better than just ginger for you xx
