I am starting this thread a bit early. I tested yesterday at 9dpo and got a faint positive, which was much darker today. My due date would be the 29 September, but this is my second child and my first was super late, so am assuming this will really be an October baby.

@Mumwaiting I’ve signed up for NCT and will also sign up for a twin and multiples class with the Twins Trust but that one is online.

Hi all,
Have you signed up to antenatal classes? If yes, which ones?
I read that the NHS offers free classes , but can't figure out how to sign up to them or where they are offered. The number they provide is for the hospital general inquiries used for A&E and other emergencies.

Hello Smile just popping myself onto here.... first time mum (well matured at 38 Grin) think we are due around 27/10. Hoping to get some info, encouragement and top tips! 11+1 today -we think- but haven’t had a scan yet!!! Booked for dating scan next Friday so hoping everything is progressing as it should be.... I see lots who went for early scans which we didn’t but feeling quite chilled about the whole pregnancy so far, just weird as apart from the awful nausea, sore boobs and delights of constipation (sorry!) we haven’t seen any evidence of our little one yet! Eeeek Smile anyone else who waited until their dating scan at 12 weeks?

Hi Everyone,

I'm a bit late to the game, I was in a November group but after having booked an "early scan" at 7+5 last week to try and put my mind at rest I am actually 12 weeks tomorrow! The nausea has thankfully laid off the last few days. Due 12th October :) and very excited to be a first time Mummy!

Is there a FB group set up at all does anyone know?

Hi all,
Due date 12/10
Baby #4. (18,16,13)
35 🙈
Great to read all your stories, so reassuring to know it’s normal to go through all these emotions even though this is #4 I feel like it’s my first it’s been that long. I tested on 5th jan when my period was due so it’s been soooo long, and we still haven’t told anyone!

Hi all I thought I’d jump on - was TTC for 18 months and had IVF. Luckily got pregnant on the first round and am now 7+6 so due 16th October. First pregnancy so no idea what I’m doing! Nausea and tiredness are my main and constant symptoms.

@cravingmilkshake I found out a week ago at my viability scan that I’m also expecting twins!

Hi all,

I have been incredibly hungry and even ordered a dominos pizza to work the other day. Just really needed something. I have also had so much sickness where with my first I didn't have any sickness atall.

It's going to be tough but I'm excited. My husband is still in shock!

But twins; we are very lucky to have been given this opportunity.

@AS1188 it was 3.7mm but I have been doing a lot of research (googling) and it seems like they’re notoriously difficult to measure in early pregnancy. Thank you - fingers crossed for you too x

Report
AS1188 · 04/03/2021 18:25

@Upupupintheair do you mind me asking what your measurements of gestational sac were? I went when I thought I was approx 5 weeks but measured at 1.7mm average and she said that was small. I think it's because I wasn't as far along as I thought I was but just got myself in a panic! Hope everything goes ok when you go back x x

Upupupintheair · 04/03/2021 18:20

Oooo double trouble @cravingmilkshake congratulations!!

So I had a scan today. I should be 5+3 it was to check for an ectopic pregnancy as I was very quick to fall pregnant after the coil was removed. It was an OK scan, the good news is that there is a gestenational sac there, but no yolk sac yet (yet the doc said she could see the beginning of one forming but didn’t put it on my notes). She also said I was measuring more like 4+3.... and I have a heart shaped womb (but mild) which means a higher risk of later miscarriage...... GREAT! Anyway she still sounded optimistic so I’m trying to be.

Thé good news is that I’ve been booked in for another scan in 15 days time so hopefully they’ll see a little more. I just don’t know how I can wait that long without going crazy... any tips for making the time go faster?!

I guess this could put me with the November gang now not October!
