I am starting this thread a bit early. I tested yesterday at 9dpo and got a faint positive, which was much darker today. My due date would be the 29 September, but this is my second child and my first was super late, so am assuming this will really be an October baby.

Hi all,
I got my positive test this morning! So excited/shocked etc but we were trying.
Can I join the fb group? I'm assuming no one can see it as we're only going to tell a select few and then wait till the 12 weeks before telling more people just in case

EDD: 16/10/21
Baby: #1
Age: 35... for a couple more weeks anyway!

We have a Facebook group if you message @crabette with your email address she can add you. I think there is also another Facebook group however are too ‘elite’ for the rest of us 😂 so aren’t accepting anyone else.

I've recently found out I'm pregnant, due in October and I've been asked to confirm the hospital. This is my first, so I'm really not sure Smile my doctor has mentioned not to go for Milton Keynes, so my options are Luton & Dunstable and Stoke Mandeville. Any help would be great!

@Scrampy congratulations! If it helps my sister has had babies at both Stoke Mandeville and Luton, and said Luton was so much better. It is a specialist centre for neonatal care as well so the support she had after her 2nd daughters birth was amazing. I know she would advise you go to Luton!

Scared to join but I'm here, CD37 and I reckon 5 weeks or so today! Had a mc in January last year and am 42 so needless to say I am very, very nervous!

This will be my Second baby (daughter just turned 18 months).

I took an early test today and it's positive. Due on my period on Wednesday so fingers crossed it all is good news! Nhs caculator says 20th October as due date.

@Scrampy I gave birth at Stoke mandeville and they were faultless! I had a water labour and then complications led me into surgery, and honestly they were amazing through it all.
I’ll be there again this time.

Can I join? Took a test today a few days before period due on a bit of a hunch...and there was a line there! According to NHS website due 21st October. However first baby super late so will probably be mid November...

@Cafeaulait27, I had really bad sickness with my DD, didnt set in until about week 7 and had it through to 16 weeks, only at night though! Hope its manageable for you xx

Only symptoms I have is the really sore boobs/nipples and headaches! Still bit of cramping like symptoms and very slight nausea and also feel the need to swallow a lot, weird!

Hello everyone, congratulations!

I'm 5+1 today. I have a scan booked for 6+2,has anyone had a scan this early before? Hoping we see a heartbeat.

I'm due October but if all goes well will have baby at 36 weeks so would actually be a September baby! X x

@JN2021 congrats!! I had a private scan at 6+6 weeks last year, it showed a heartbeat. You should be able to see something after 6 weeks 😊

Will you have it early due to c section? If this pregnancy works out I’m going to have a c section too xxx

Yes I'll be having a C-section at 36 weeks - I went to 41+3 with my daughter so will be very this time.

Have you got many symptoms atm? I'm sooo thirsty and tired, knew I was pregnant 2 days before test showed positive due to the thirst! xx
