Congrats to all the new BFPs.

Still struggling with sickness at 6+6. Can't keep anything down the past 2 days. Phoned the GP today who advised to eat little and often but it just makes me sick more frequently it appears! Even woke up to being sick. Think I'm going to have to start telling people because I can't keep this hidden at work.

strawberrycherryblossom · 19/11/2020 13:00

@ginandtonic80 my booking appointment was made when I called to register the pregnancy. Every area is different though.

NamechangeTTC · 19/11/2020 13:05

@4Minions2CallMyOwn same date for me, although I think I will be later as ovulated late. I was born at 30 weeks though so I know not to trust dates!

I’ve only got 1-2 on digital so far but trying not to beat myself up as the lines are progressing. I’m actually only due AF today so wasn’t late in any of these.

I’m crampy and feel like AF is coming every time I wipe but the tests look good!

I’ve got my midwife appt on 24/12 (phone) then nhs scan 12/1 so I’ll be just over 12/40. I’ve got a private scan booked 3/12 so should be 6+6 based on LMP. I know I’ll go again if I’m too early for confirmation.

Baker0104 · 19/11/2020 13:13

There's so many of us, very exciting.

Is anyone else really anxious or is it just me? Everyone I go to the toilet I have to check there's no blood etc, I feel like I need to do another test to make sure it's real.... I think because it's my first baby and also it happened very quickly i almost feel like it isn't real and something has to go wrong? Bloody hormones are causing havoc!

Knittingwithdragons · 19/11/2020 13:16

No @Baker0104, don’t worry I’m exactly the same.

3rdtimelucky2019 · 19/11/2020 13:18

Approx 8+2 today. Sickness has really kicked in during the last week. I've also had the worst runs since 5 weeks pregnant so it's like morning sickness both ends.

Private reassurance scan on Monday. If things look ok I'll finally ring a midwife and get booked in.

NamechangeTTC · 19/11/2020 13:18

Yup @Baker0104 I’ve done so many

Baker0104 · 19/11/2020 13:40

@Knittingwithdragons @namechangeTTC

Glad I'm not the only one! It feel so surreal, I'm definitely going to be getting an early scan as I don't think I can last until after Xmas 😂

Jilly1988 · 19/11/2020 13:48

@Baker0104 yes I am the same. It's my first and we were trying for about 20 months so I am so anxious that something will go wrong. I am 6+3 so took my last digital last week. I also have absolutely no symptoms apart from tiredness in the evenings so that's made me a complete paranoid wreck.

It's worrying isn't it, the more I think about it the worse I get so I need to just try relax, much easier said than done tho!
I'm only 4+2 so a bit early for any real symptoms although I am so tired but that's it. Are you waiting for your 12 weeks scan or do you think you'll get an early one? X

AKC88 · 19/11/2020 15:42

Hi,

Hoping to join Smile

I am 6 weeks pregnant with number 3, had my booking in appt on Tuesday and scan is booked for 21/12/2020 as going my my LMP I would currently be 8 weeks but I know I ovulated late.

I am ridiculously tired, sore boobs and don't have much appetite but generally feeling ok.

Looking forward to following all of your journeys.

NamechangeTTC · 19/11/2020 15:44

I have waves of nausea and panic when I don’t. Boobs are sore if I prod them. Random cramps and my cervix is aching.
I am so worried about this. Much more than I imagined.

Luckyelephant1 · 19/11/2020 16:08

@ginandtonic80

Thank you *@MrsH2019* :)

How long did it take everyone to get their booking appointment? I filled in my online self referral nearly a week ago and haven't heard anything yet.

Hi @ginandtonic80 I self-referred via an online form a couple of weeks ago (I'm 6+5 today) and when I hadn't heard anything back I called them up earlier this week.

They said they will aim to get me a booking appointment before I'm 10 weeks but they couldn't confirm whether it would be face to face or via phone, but either way they'd let me know in the next couple of weeks. Feels a bit crap really, it sounded like they weren't that bothered. I'll probably chase up again in a weeks time if I still haven't heard.

spooner1 · 19/11/2020 17:22

Hi All,

Congratulations to everyone for their BFP's!! Please can I also join? I got my positive result at around 11dpo, I'm now 14 dpo but I have irregular periods (my last period was on 17/10...not sure if anyone can let me know how far along I am, different websites say different things?!ConfusedHmm)

I've been having quite a lot of cramping and it's making me very nervous, literally period style cramps. I'm hoping this is normal...

Keeping fingers crossed for everyone's journey Smile

Baker0104 · 19/11/2020 19:23

@spooner1 I've been having on and off cramps for the past 3 days, I thought the initial cramps were me coming on my period but when it didn't appear I took a test and got my bfp. From what I've read it seems to be pretty normal 🤷‍♀️ congratulations!

Jilly1988 · 19/11/2020 19:39

@spooner1 @Baker0104 I had cramps up until about 5+5. They terrified me too as it didn't feel normal but they seem to be very normal and everything stretching.

spooner1 · 19/11/2020 19:45

@Jilly1988 @Baker0104
Thanks for the reassurance both on the crampsSmile I don't have any really close friends that have had children to talk to so google is my go to for information but that can so be dangerous ha!
Congratulations too!! X

Baker0104 · 19/11/2020 19:48

Thank you @Jilly1988

@spooner1 luckily one of my really close friends is 18 weeks pregnant so I can pick her brains lol x

jewelsx · 19/11/2020 23:05

F

NamechangeTTC · 20/11/2020 07:35

@spooner1 we’re very similar then. My last period started 16/10 and I was 14dpo yesterday too. LMP means I’m 5w today but from ovulation date 4+2. I prefer the 5w number! I’m going to wait and see what happens at the scan (if I get that far) and have booked a private one on 3rd December when I should be 6+6 or 6+1!

happylittlechick · 20/11/2020 09:04

Can I join? I'm 4 weeks today. A bit all over the place as it was a bit unexpected. I'd written this month off.

WalkingMeAway · 20/11/2020 09:14

Welcome @happylittlechick and congrats.

Symptoms seem to coming in waves which is making me feel anxious ! I promised myself I wouldn’t but it’s so hard not to worry isn’t it. I’ve moved my reassurance scan forward a week to next Sunday when I will be 7w. I think I’m worried because of my age (38) and all you read is about increased risk of miscarriage!

I’m trying to remind myself other than my age I’ve got no other factors which would make me higher risk and if it’s meant to be, it will. Easier said than done though ay?!

Hopefulmummie · 20/11/2020 09:29

I had my reassurance scan today due to my previous ectopic pregnancy. They seen the gestational sac and a small yolk sac inside it but no embryo yet they said it just could be too early. They are bringing me back in 2 weeks to check again so fingers crossed can see something then. Has anyone else had an early scan and nothing much to see?

feistymumma · 20/11/2020 09:57

Hello ladies, can I join please?

Just did my test and am approx. 5 weeks pregnant with baby number 4 at 44 years old. Due date approx. 23rd July.

strawberrycherryblossom · 20/11/2020 10:22

I've also now had my 12 week scan letter come through. Just after Christmas. How exciting! Star

We still have our private scan next week too so it'll give me a good idea on dates and hopefully a little reassurance too.
