Just realised we are on 1000, so just copied the last original post, as that had most of us tagged. So sorry if I’ve forgot anyone.

@roarfeckingroarr you sound organised! Enjoy your leave before he’s here 😌

@Freddie1987 that’s sounds painful! Hopefully it’s a good sign though and he’s moving to the exit point!

@SamK93 I know they are all going to start coming soon. 🙈 I want extra time!

@BS9790 yea she is stuck in the same position. I look lobsided! I’m taking hobnobs, cereal bars, bag of lollipops, some sweets, crisps, satsumas, lucozade sport and Ribena. My friends is going to bring me a sandwich / pack lunch every day too. I don’t know really what to pack. I would take a jar of coffee, sugar if I had a kettle on demand 😂

@LST87 good luck! Hope you manage to get some sleep. It’s like Christmas Eve but baby Eve! Hopefully it works quickly!

Place marking.
This is the thread where all the babies will come! 🥰

SamK93 · 05/10/2020 07:24

Anyone else feel like a zombie with the frequent waking at night for the loo? Or is it just my weak bladder.

1990shopefulftm · 05/10/2020 08:36

@SamK93 some nights I wake up once and it's not too bad but I definitely feel like a zombie if I wake up more than twice.

37 weeks today, it's probably going to be another 4 weeks yet but fingers crossed it isn't as my back pain has been getting to me a bit sometimes.

LadyB90 · 05/10/2020 09:27

@DressingGown87
Thanks for starting the new thread! So excited for all the baby announcements over the next days/weeks!

@SamK93
I normally only get up once for the toilet but still feeling like a zombie just from lack of sleep

@1990shopefulftm
I'm 37 weeks tomorrow.and also hoping baby doesn't keep me waiting past due date! It's getting quite uncomfortable now but for me it's my ribs more than my back and side sleeping at night is just impossible. Can't believe how close we are now though!!

1990shopefulftm · 05/10/2020 09:32

@LadyB90 looking forward to the day when I can sleep on my back again, hope baby doesn't keep you waiting too long.

roarfeckingroarr · 05/10/2020 09:58

Morning Grinthanks for the new thread.

I'm still in bed, just woken up. I

roarfeckingroarr · 05/10/2020 09:59

@SamK93 yes I'm getting up at least 4 times a night for a wee every night!

ChlOeWh · 05/10/2020 09:59

Hi ladies!! I'm due on the 22nd with a girl 🥰
I'm currently 37+4 and fed up waiting now as DS was born at 37+4 almost 7 years ago.. just want out now 😂😂
How are you all keeping?
Feeling a bit odd today, kind of like an "ugh" feeling, can't really explain it 😂

Sls668 · 05/10/2020 12:34

@DressingGown87 thanks for setting up the new thread!

@SamK93 I got up 4 times last night for a wee! Was the same on Friday night! I’m fuming with myself! It’s literally every 2 hours and is so annoying when you get there and it’s the tiniest wee ever! My hips hurt in the night too so I spend a lot of time trying to get comfy. I also dreamt that my OH had got another girl pregnant and she was due with a little boy, I was worried he’d like the other baby better as it was a boy! I feel so bad that I keep waking up and being angry with him for his behaviour in my dreams when he’s been great in real life 😂

Flora20 · 05/10/2020 13:19

@DressingGown87 Thanks for setting up the new thread!

I'm tired today not so much because of toilet trips but restless legs - I went to bed exhausted last night at 8pm but didn't actually sleep until about 2am. I've had a bit of crampy backache the last few evenings too which has me wondering every night whether it will turn into anything - so last night all I could think was please not tonight, I'm too tired!

On the plus side I just made a big pile of crepes with Nutella and banana for lunch 😁

FirstSurprise001 · 05/10/2020 14:42

@1990shopefulftm the back ache is real isn’t it! I went for a big dog walk yesterday, lots of hills, and can hardly walk today with back and hip pain 😭

@SamK93 I’m up every 2 hours for a wee every night at the moment. No matter how little I drink before I go to bed I wake up with hip pain and then figure that whilst I’m awake I may as well go anyway. On the plus side at least we’ll all be used to being up stupid hours for when the babies are here!

1990shopefulftm · 05/10/2020 15:03

@FirstSurprise001 Hope your pain gets easier, it's difficult not to think oh is this pain because baby is getting somewhere or it is just pain.
.

Mc3209 · 05/10/2020 16:52

Hip pain is real. I feel for everyone plodding through it.
I am loving maternity leave. So good.

@roarfeckingroarr do you do olaplex between colour? I am a bit on a fence about that. I usually get it whilst getting coloured but not in between. Now I am thinking maybe I should.

60sPony · 05/10/2020 17:11

Hello new thread 👋
I’m knackered... been completely overdoing it.. over 5 miles today and yesterday. Find it so hard to slow down with a toddler but tomorrow is preschool day woohoo so hopefully some time to do nothing!

FirstSurprise001 · 05/10/2020 17:25

@1990shopefulftm thank you, I hope yours does too. It’s stupid to say but when it’s so painful, and it’s definitely the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced, I genuinely think god if I can’t cope with this how am I going to cope with contractions 🙈

Does anyone think their bump is still growing? I’ve been looking at pictures from the last few weeks and I swear my bump is still the same size from 34 weeks to 37 weeks.

1990shopefulftm · 05/10/2020 17:32

@FirstSurprise001 I ve been told by some people that you might cope with contractions better as the pain has an actual purpose when it's contractions where as all random back and hip pain is telling you is that your muscles or bones are sore which you already know about.

I ve been practicing my labour breathing whenever it gets bad and it does make a bit of a difference, I could use my tens machine now but I don't want to use it and then find it's less effective for actual labour.

Maybe your bump has dropped a bit? Mine grew 1cm between 34 and 36 weeks which is completely normal with it changing position.

SamK93 · 05/10/2020 18:00

@FirstSurprise001 I'm with you on the bump size, I feel like it hasn't changed at all since 33/34 weeks. It might have dropped lower maybe that's why. I'm feeling you on the back pain it's horrible didn't have it with the other two!

@60sPony try not to over exert yourself you need to take it easy and save some energy for the big day.

@Sls668 I'm the same it's every 1/2 hours for me it feels like I need loads when I get there it's hardly anything. The dream thing made me laugh!

BS9790 · 05/10/2020 20:33

I'm only up twice most nights to pee... I don't drink much though, never have done so finding it hard to try get fluids down me!
I'm struggling with the side sleeping though, and waking up with leg cramp most nights too. 😩

I was measured by midwife at 35 weeks at 33cm... at 36 weeks they measured me at 34.5cm. Not sure if that's growth or just change in position... 🤷‍♀️

I deffo need more snacks... Will add to my tesco order 🤣 jaffa cakes and hobnobs are great shouts 🤤🤤

Mc3209 · 05/10/2020 21:12

Anyone else feeling extra irritable? At the moment pretty much everything DH does gets on my nerves. I have to really work to keep it together and keep the inner witch at bay..

DressingGown87 · 05/10/2020 21:22

I slept through last night! And it’s felt so good. But that was a one off, usually I’m up for a wee 1-3 times per night.

I’m still working, trying to power through it all. My deadline was tomorrow to handover, but it’s looking unlikely 2 12hour days, and i still have a mountain to climb. Plus My car needs new Tyres tomorrow, I have counselling, I need to exchange my pram, and I have a doctors appointment for a skin tag which keeps bleeding 🤦🏽‍♀️

I don’t think my bump has grown much either in the last few weeks. Hoping for a 7lb baby.

roarfeckingroarr · 05/10/2020 22:06

@Flora20 what an amazing lunch. I would love pancakes!!

@Mc3209 I just do it now and then when I get it coloured. My hair dresser is great, I trust her judgment of when I need it!

I accidentally walked a bit far today, over 10km, so have had a bath and I'm now in bed hoping it doesn't happen tonight!

1990shopefulftm · 06/10/2020 09:16

Anyone have any idea how you could know if babies back to back?
My back pain is getting worse and a bit more frequent, I had a couple of what I thought were Braxton Hicks yesterday, no sign of contractions though. I m just a bit paranoid that the pain is because of babies position.

LadyB90 · 06/10/2020 09:44

@1990shopefulftm
Could your midwife tell baby's position at your last appointment? In my area they do a 36 week scan and the sonographer said it's very difficult for the baby to move into a back to back position after 36 weeks if they weren't already there. Aside from that my baby isn't back to back and I can feel legs kicking out on one side and the back the other side. Where are you feeling the kicks and movements?

1990shopefulftm · 06/10/2020 09:50

@LadyB90 midwife just said they were 3/5 engaged and head down, I ve got an anterior placenta but his movements are in the middle of the top of my stomach so perhaps I m wrong.

Horrendous timing that the electrics on our shower have broken this morning, could possibly get someone out in a good amount of time but I would be devastated after months of being so careful that I could possibly get covid from having an electrician in the house now. Fortunately the hot waters working still so can have baths, just not ideal for post labour.
