Just a quickie from me to say big congrats to you Honey and gorgeous Dexter - love it! Your homebirth sounds amazing - the part about the head being out and waiting for the next contraction rang a bell for me - i've just remembered the midwife actually chatting to Isla as she was half out - eyes open and everything!!!

Enjoy these first special days - i'm sure you will

Back later to catch up properly!

MrsMcJnr · 07/11/2007 16:30

Catching up

Iampg Happy Mat Leave! it?s lovely that lots of your friends will have new babies too how lovely to get such a nice pressie from work glad the list is helpful should have said, there was only one outfit for Beanie on my hospital bag list because they clothe them during their stay at my hospital. I?ll log on tonight for your email. Glad the concert is still on!! poor you with the veins. I have my 30 week physio class at the hospital tomorrow afternoon, will probably see all the same ladies that were at the 16 weeks ? could be fun (wonder if DH?s ex will be there?!)

Hey Seaside hope you are well.

Hello Chooster must meet soon ? it?s been AGES!! I?m missing you. I read a hilarious book on holiday and one woman sang Bat out of Hell between contractions! just read your offer of a amby demo ? we?d love to (and would love a cuddle with Theo too) I?ll text you Must have been so hard not to laugh at DS1?s ?issues? LOL at DH having dead man?s coat fantasies! Loving the new pics!!

Bodders DH thinks I have bought too many pillows from eBay can?t wait to do round and round the garden on a baby tummy! I was playing this little piggy with DN2?s toes, he loved it, especially when I munched them ? probably lots of germs but it was fun all the same!

Firsty time does seem to be flying by now. MW appointment was fine thanks all good including blood pressure for a change. I was feeling down as my face looks fat to me but MW thinks I have some fluid retention in my face and fingers. I told her how much weight I had put on and she said it was fine and that the average is 20 pounds but I wasn?t sure if she meant for 30 weeks or overall ? if it is overall, I am not doing too well as I hit 19 ½ pounds this morning! I thought about black outs and then figured that it will be dark between 3pm and 8.30am anyway when Beanie arrives!

Fettle sorry to hear things are a bit tough with feeding poor foot but you are a fabby Mummy and these things happen the injections are ok thanks, getting harder not to make a mess but I am adamant that I am not changing site! Much as my nephews were exhausting, I do so love those little boys DN1 and I were walking together hand in hand in the ?enchanted wood? behind my house and I was pointing out toadstools big enough to be pixie seats, he was fascinated ? such a special kid well done being in those jeans hon!!!

Honey well done hon, you did so well how strange about the waters and the irregular contractions. That is quite a bit bigger than your other babies isn?t it!

greedygreedyguzzler · 07/11/2007 20:00

this is going to seem a bit me me me, but i need a rant!!!
Partenity leave is PANTS! dh took 2 weeks off which was lovely but now he is back he has so much work to catch up on he is going in at 6am every day and getting home at 8pm! it's crap for him and crap for me and the kids! means i have done teatime/bathtime/bedtime all by myself last wed, thur, fri and this mon, tue wed!!! not that i am counting or anything!!! bathtime has been more relaxed than i thought it would be actually, cos marcy seems to love her bath and she goes inbetween the other two and they just smother her with kisses and drip water all ovwr her which she seems to like! i think she is going to be one tough cookie when she is bigger!! anyway! i am getting pissed off with never seeing dh (still havent had FSAB!) and doing everything on my own!

feel like all dh and i talk about at the moment is who is the most sleep deprived and who feels the tiredest! we seem to be competing over who has the elast sleep and whos eyes are the most bloodshot!!! having said that marcy was a star last night and went from 10.30 till 3.30 and had a quick 5oz feed (which she can drain in about 3minutes cos she is SO greedy!!!) and then settled straight away! so i dont feel too bad today (not telling dh that though!!!)

cant believe she is 4 wks old today!!! its flown by!!! we put her in her own room last night too!! she is so grown up!!! she was waking up about 45 mins before she neede a feed and snuffling and fidgeting and i was lying awake thinking "shall i justr feed her now nd get it over with or shall i try and hang out for a bit so she wakes up later next time"........so i was missing out on 45 mins of precious sleep! anyway.........didnt hear her last night till she started to cry so got my extra bit of sleep!!!

think i must still be a bit emotional cos i lost it in the doctors today! i stormed out in disgust, which isn't like me at all!!! i had an appt for ds that the surgery told me to make to discuss the results of his ultrasound that he had cos of his urinary tract infections. stupid doctor didnt seem to have a clue why i was there, and then said he thought verything was ok but he wasnt sure!!! and then started looking at marcy and saying he wasn't going to examine her because he didnt think he would gain anything from looking at her!!! thats when i flipped and shouted at him "NO! you dont need to examine HER cos its got nothing to do with her, its HIM we are here for!!!" she wasnt even born when the ultrasound was done ffs!!! and doe sshe REALLY look like a 4 yr old boy!!!

SORRY!!!!!! really needed to rant and as you can see my speed typing is shikt!!!!!!

ok.now i am going to read everything and post about YOU LOT!!!

greedygreedyguzzler · 07/11/2007 20:30

fettle petal! really sorry to hear toby isnt managing to feed properly during the day. what do you think the difference is between day and night? surely you must still be producing loads of milk at night, so why do you think he manages to feed then? just trying to think if there is ANY logical reason................probably not though cos babies dont really do logic do they? dont feel bad about his foot...........i have had 2 near misses today and ended up in tears both times!!! i was walking past marcy whilst she was on her playmat and i was carrying a cup of tea and cos i was rushing as normal i managed to trip and spill my tea. it missed her by about 50cm but i kept thinking "what if" and couldnt stop crying after. i also picked up my bag too quickly and it got caught under her carseat while she was in it and sent her on a furious rock with her poor little head getting flung right forward and back before i could stop it. all i could think of was her poor little neck and whiplash injuries. so.............dont feel bad, we all do similar things! i hope!!

honey- i CAN'T believe you didn't poo!!! although my mw did tell me that i had pooed enough for the whole of the south of england (well..thats what she impied anyway!!).....so maybe, as you are in the south....i let you off!!! my knees were very sore afterwards as well! i found that a good position too! glad iyt was so relaxed for you.............you will def want another one now!!! and can i just say..when marcy was half in half out that was THE most painful bit for me! absolute agony! that is when i swore at the midwife and marcy, so i could never have coped with 10 mins of it!!!! AND.....one more thing!!!!..................make a note of how many people tell you to do your pelvic floor exercises..........i have never been told by so many people as i was this time!!! "OOOOOOOoooooooo you MUST do your pelvic floors......what with it being a big baby....and of course its your THIRD!!!" ...........basically i think everyone assumes you have a fanny like a bucket after having 3 babies!!!!..............or maybe it is just me!!!

hello everyone else.....dinners ready gotta go!!

greedygreedyguzzler · 07/11/2007 20:31

implied...noy impied!! and/................shit i give up on the rest of my typos!!! you know what i am trying to say!!!

iampgatlast · 07/11/2007 20:57

hi ladies

chooster - i love the new pics you have put up of theo he looks so grown up...i think you will have to watch him with the ladies when he gets older..

honeyapple - CONGRATS!! and welcome little dexter into the world xxx i am loving the name its so funky and unusual.
im so pleased you had the homebirth you wanted and you make it sound so easy...although dont think i fancy a little head poking out.

fettle - sorry your still having troubles with toby and OUCH to his bent foot hope you had a better night last night.

firststar - i hope your new hair do lightens your mood a bit, you having anything adventurous done? and yes i did eat the rest of the tin of disgestives but i am eating a plum now so i guess it balances out....

mrs - thanks for wishing me happy maternity leave. i have adjusted your spreadsheet and added a few personal things on and i had a mammoth shopping spree yesterday in the comfort of my own home, godbless catalogues and ebay infact i have most of oscars stuff now i just need to buy things for my hospital bag

will have to finish post later

iampgatlast · 08/11/2007 11:09

sorry will continue my post from yesterday now....

mrs - hope your physio class goes well and you meet some familiar faces (except dhs ex)

greedy - it sounds like you are so over run and exhausted poor you! i would offer to lend you a hand if i were closer so you can have a break as you sound like you certainly need a massive one!!
i dont blame you for walking out of the doctors - that is disgusting that he couldnt even explain things to you and then he didnt even get the right child HELLO!!! can this moron read?!! i would be putting in a serious complaint that last thing you need is traipsing up the doctors for an appointment that causes stress and tells you nothing that you didnt know already!! hope you are a bit more relaxed today

well meatloaf was cancelled in the end at 12:30pm a few hours before we were due to leave! so dissapointed but hey thats the way it goes.

i had to stop posting last night as we had trouble with a tenant. she is our biggest paying tenant and was a week late paying dp cant get hold of her so he decided to go round as all week all lights have been off except the bathroom. we both thought the worse that we would find he dead in the bath or somthing. anyway go round there and have no idea what the hell is going on - the place hasnt been lived in she has covered up all the windows, locks on all internal doors, soil in every single room under the beds in picture frames everywhere, she has ripped off all the vents in the house and tried to get the bath panel off and opened up the loft hatch - VERY BIZARRE. there were glasses everywhere and droppers (like what scientists use) and all down the hallway walls someone has scored into them with a knife. holes have been drilled in the ceilings and im not talking just a few holes, in one ceiling there was 30 holes covered over with electrical tape!! its so strange as she seemed such a sensible girl and we never had problems with her, it just makes me wonder what she has been up to..your mind starts running wild seeing stuff like that.

i am in waiting for a plumber today so i shall be sitting in front of the tv enjoying a bit of daytime entertainment.

xx

Bodkin · 08/11/2007 11:46

Wish I had time to post more, but again only have time for a quickie...

Anyway - Greedy BIG HUGS to you - sounds like you are really going through it at the mo, and I totally sympathise with the whole doing everything on your own - it was sooo hard while DP was away this weekend and I've only got 2! I totally lost it when he came back (I guess because I could, he was there to pick up the pieces) and it did help having a bit of a meltdown, so if you need a big bawl, go for it! Felt a bit bad though, cos I swore at Isla a fair few times (of the FFS, what do you want NOW? variety)
Bloody doctor - what a twat! Making you shlep all the way over there for nothing

Iampg was it you who asked how Isla is pronounced ?- it is like this "eye-la" (silent "s") My god that is freaky about your tenant! Am trying to think of a rational explanation, but am absolutely at a loss!

Mrs - you are going to be such a great mum - sounds like you're getting plenty of practice in on the DNs!

Fettle - hope things sort themselves out with the feeding - it really is worth trying the holding a muslin up to the boob to let off the initial gush of milk - it deffo helped Isla feed in the early days - my milk can literally spray across the room, so it was quite a lot to ask of her to drink it easily! If he protests - let him suckle on the knuckle (hey that rhymes ) of the hand that is holding the muzzie until things ahve calmed down. And could you try feeding him before he is actually really hungry so that he isn't guzzling too quickly? Sorry, hope I'm not being patronising - just REALLY want things to work out for you

Also, don't worry about the screaming himself to sleep thing - that is the only way Isla can get herself off to sleep sometimes - the more I fuss and rock and soothe, the worse she gets.

Thanks for asking about DD1s impetigo - no sign of it for a good few weeks now, thank GOD! I daresay I haven't seen the last of it though!

Chooster - lovely lovely pics of Theo - so cute with the downturned bottom lip!

Gotta go - sorry to whoever I've missed!

How's your new little feller today Honey?

fettleandbabyfettle · 08/11/2007 13:10

Hi all

How's little Dexter doing? almost envious of you Honey, those first few days were so utterly magic - hope you are able to enjoy them!

Were we discussing having other children earlier?, anyway I'm pretty certain I don't want any more, but DH is adamant that we are not having anymore and I'm just a little sad that I will never hold a little tiny newborn all of my own again. Funny isn't it - don't want the grown up version, just that tiny little baby in the early days!

Oh poo - Toby is waking up. Fraid to admit that I've resorted to a dummy/pacifier whatever - it seems to settle him during the screaming, so while that's working I'm going easy on the gaviscon - OMG Bodders, I see what you mean about the luminous green poo!!!!

Thanks everyone for your support re Toby screaming/feeding cycle. DD did exactly the same thing - bad through day and then no probs at all at night Used to think she was allergic to downstairs as she was fine upstairs!! I'm trying to let him feed again on the same boob so that the flow isn't too bad until I figure his crying is becuase he's not actually getting any milk out of it anymore then we move to fuller side! Actually expressed some yesterday (did I already tell you that?!) nearly 3 oz in 3 mins of expressing, so supposed his quick 5 min feeds through the night are giving him enough! ANYWAY, he then took the bottle really well yesterday evening - so impressed with him. Hope it lasts - haven't expressed again today as have a workman in fitting a new floor in the bathroom and feel a bit self-conscious expressing with a strange man in the house!

Oops - I'm suffering from having spoken to noone today, sorry!!!!!

Iampg - how utterly bizarre about your tenant? What on earth can she possibly have been doing? Did you take any references from previous landlords? Would love to know what she was doing, but poor you and DH having to sort it all out again! Also sorry aout Meatloaf - saw that he had cancelled his European tourand thought of you!!! Hope your bump is happily coping with the disappointment!!

Greedy-sweetie - you poor sweetheart. I in awe that you bath 3 of them together alone! You must be so utterly shattered - you rant to us as much as you need to, to save shouting at DH. I hate shouting at DH at the moment, but we're both so tired (your competitive tiredness made me giggle!) that we are much more tetchy than normal - best to take it out on us, rather than eachother! As for your doctor - how incompetent? I know I'm asked all the time whether Toby is a boy or girl, but at least they know he is a little baby - not a toddler!!! How utterly ridiculous. But you keep an eye on yourself - don't want you staying too low for too long - can you Mum help out a bit at the moment? Wish we lived nearer (all of us) then we could meet up for coffee and real life moan!

CHooster - keep meaning to say - Theo is absolutely gorgeous!! Who's he lined up to marry - Isla or Marcy!! Toby will have to take second choice!. Must plan our trip to Edinburgh zoo for early next year (is it open all year round?).

bodders - thanks for your advice, as always much appreciated. I've started him naked kicking in the afternoons and it does stop him screaming for a while - have a towel poised to catch the waterfall when it occurs. He's going to get a complex though about weeing, as however hard I try, I still squeal when I see the fountain start!!!. Glad you still think of Isla as Isla the Smiler, rather than Isla the Grizzler! Good news about Nelly's impetigo as well!

Mrs - you sound very busy and hectic at the moment - hope you are taking time out to relax and look after your bump. Think you're up next now, aren't you?! How exciting!!!

Firsty - hope you are having a fantastic week with Ty!!

Big waves to Seaside!

ok - he's really woken up now. Best go -
love to all.

Hi all!

Well things are going really well with Dexter, he seems (so far) a pretty chilled out chap. My boobs are humongous today and pretty sore, particularly my right side which is resembling a bowling ball in size and texture! Picked up DS from school today with Dexter which was cool... took me nearly an hour to get out the house though... and then I was still late. Good to show him off to some mums and teachers .

Fettle- hope Toby settles down soon and you sort out his screaming, poor little man . I think dummies can be total life savers when they just need to suck, so if it calms him down, then I am all for it.

Greedy- big hugs to you... you are amazing having 3 little ones... it's easy for me in comparison as my other DC are pretty self- sufficient. I know I wouldnt cope with your lovely brood . Grrr to daft GP.

Iampg- weird one about your tenant. That sounds seriously strange... soil??

Bodders- good BF advice as always .

Mrs, Seaside, Firsty, Chooster, rainbowdays, rahrah, ready - hello and lots of love! (Hope I didnt miss anyone)

Right- going to attempt to get Dex to relieve some pressure in this boob...

(Will do piccies soon, promise)

fettleandbabyfettle · 08/11/2007 18:38

Iampg - cannabis growing!!!!! perhaps, wouldn't have a clue myself how to do it, promise!!

Sorry had a sudden flash of inspiration earlier, but no time. But just seen that if it wasn't for the "pg" in your name Iampg - it would look like I was admitting to growing cannabis!!

Honey - so great to hear you coping so well!!! What a star Dexter sounds! Please post some piccies! (although I should post some newer ones too, shouldn't I?)

Greedy - big big big hugs, I just had to do bedtime alone with two and toby was pretty unhappy, until he took his dummy - then I had both of them on my lap reading bedtime stories. DH then came home and DD wanted him to finish the story, but i really felt for you doing it with 3 of them! hope tonight was better?

OP posts:
Chooster · 08/11/2007 21:02

Gulp!!! Poor you Greedy!!!! I really do feel for you. Its got to be so tough having the 3 of them all day (even if there is pre-school / nursery etc, you still have to organise them). Like Fettle, I've done dinner, bath and bed on my own tonight with the 2 boys and although it went well, I was still bloody glad when I traipsed downstairs at 7.30 . You must be exhausted you poor bugger... Poor DH as well, he can't be liking all those long days - its rubbish isn't it.

I think we are in exactly the same place fettle regarding another baby. I quite sure I dont want another but could be persuaded if I had a really keen DH . But my DH is really really sure he doesn't think we shouldn't have another. Like you I get a twinge of sadness that I'll never have those newborn first few days. I'm kind of envious of the first time mums on here who are just starting out - You've got some good times ahead ladies . I hope your evening with Toby is going better Fettle . What a top boy for taking his bottle . After Theo's mild success once he has decided to go off the idea. I haven't been trying the last few days because of his ear infection so I'll have to get back onto it. In terms of Marcy or Isla I reckon he'd be a lucky man to get either, and I'm sure they would both run rings round him ... I guess we'll just need to see if he likes the older or younger lady

Honeyapple - Great to hear that things are going well with Dexter - am just loving that name by the way. The more I see it on here the more I love it . I bet DS1 was so proud to see his brother there today at school. Long may the chilled out status continue

Firsty - Hope this week has been going well for you and you and Ty are having good fun. I'm sure it'll be a tough weekend and we will be thinking of you next week.

Iampg - what a strange thing with your tenant?!?!?!?! Its very 'x-files' isn't. Has she turned up yet????

Hi Mrs, Bodkin, Seaside, Buggymad, rainbowdays and Ready and whoever I've missed!!! I'm off to try and get more xmas pressies on line

Chooster · 08/11/2007 21:05

Mmm, there was a bit of a double negative going on there. Just to be clear, DH does NOT want another baby

greedygreedyguzzler · 08/11/2007 21:52

you lot have given me so much sympathy!!! did i really make it sound that bad!!!??? i kind of think i thrive on the challenge of organising the three of them and then get off on the feeling of being supermum if i manage it!.........am i weird?...........if i don't manage it successfully of course then i moan like hell at dh when he gets home and end up shouting at one of the kids!!! i LOVE having three of them though, so i shouldn't have made it sound such a chore, sorry! although ds is being a bit of a 'boy' at the moment and normally he is so lovely and gentle and sensitive......i hope it isn't the way he is going to become, i liked my sensitive gentle boy much better!

well....we finally manage FSAB tonight!!!! yippee!!!! and dh said everything felt the same as before!!!!.........guess he's not really likely to tell me my fanny felt all big and saggy ................not if he ever wants sex again anyway! great for me too, nothing like when we first had sex after ds............that was painful!

iampg..................how weird about your tennant! i have been trying to figure out WHAT she was up to, but just cant think of anything that makes any sense! will you ever get to see her again?

chooster/ fettle - go on go on go on!!!! have another one!!!!! i almost told dh to sod the condom tonight so we could make another!!!................................WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!!!!!!???????? my problem is my dh is such a softie that he agrees with anything i say, so if i said i wanted 4 kids i KNOW i could easily talk him into it, so the decision is mine and that is dangerous!!!

honeyapple - you sound just like my friend in RL who had her baby the day before you.......she keeps saying how chilled she is too.............dont forget it could all change!!! but i hope for your sake it doesn't

marcy has been mainly chilled today and full of smiles! i just LOVE those smiles! i managed to get the end of a smile in a photo and i will try and put it on my profile if i remember!!! that reminds me i need to look at your pics chooster and see your handsome prince!!!.................can we fix him up with marcy? she is a bit precious though i should warn you...................the second that she does a poo she screams to be changed, she cant stand to be dirty!!! not at all like her big sis who would sit for hours in her own filth if i let her!!!!

bodders - if it wasn't for honeyapple i would crown you breast feeding queen of this thread............its a close thing..........you seem to know all the tricks of the trade. by the way, marcy will fight isla for theo if she has to !!!

greedygreedyguzzler · 08/11/2007 22:06

ok...i have added new pics on my profile and i have looked at your recent pics chooster and bodders. they are LOVELY!!! whoever said that all babies look the same was talking BOLLOCKS!!!!
fettle you really need to post another pic of toby........is 12 hours old really your most recent picture?!!
firsty..........where are your pics? and you too kitkat if you are lurking!! i want to see some more gorgeous babies!!!

RahRah1 · 09/11/2007 12:22

Hi guys.. Not sure if anyone is interested but my friend has just started an internet site and has no added sugar range on it and trunkies, cuddle dry blankets etc... She said I could get a discount for friends. If anyone is interested it will probably be about 25% off. I can ask her. I don't want to link the site on here, as the discount is just for friends, but considering I've known you all for at least 9 months I feel like I know you all
If anyone is interested I will ask her and then I can email you the details.
Hope no-one thinks I'm trying to peddle good onto them, just an idea. I have brought quite a few things for my friends kids and they look great, so funky!

Hope everyone is well anyway... Thanks Rainbow and Fettle for popping in yesterday (you know what I mean), it was really nice of you.. XXX

MrsMcJnr · 09/11/2007 12:27

Hey ladies how are you all? Work has been so busy (and I spent yesterday afternoon at my 30 week physio class) and I am suffering withdrawal symptoms from speaking to you all. I?ve been feeling a bit lonely and scared and ill informed and I think it?s because I haven?t been talking to you lot much!

The physio class was great; only 8 of us and the physio herself was wonderful. The subject matter was a bit of an eye opener though and it made me realise that I know nothing at all about labour most of the other ladies, though all due around the same time as me, knew more ? mostly because their AN classes had begun but I realised I didn?t have a clue about the signs of going into labour (apart from the obvious waters breaking, contractions and painful ones at that), what the stages were, how long they lasted and how long contractions lasted for, how long you were likely to push for etc! felt so clueless did a bit of work on breathing and relaxation, on positions for labour, on massage during labour, prep and aftercare of pelvic floors etc (and clllllllllleeeeeeeeeeennnnchhhh! and we discussed and learnt about TENS machines which was useful. As it was a small class, we talked a lot about our own fears and most ladies felt the same as me, how do you assert yourself when you are told by a professional to get on your back?! Some of the ladies I?d seen before at other things (luckily, DH?s ex wasn?t there) and a couple of them are going to be doing the NCT classes with me too which is nice. A few of us swooped numbers ? new buddies

My dress has arrived for the christening on Sunday I don?t look the vision of elegance I was hoping to be but I do like it but why oh why do things have to be so low cut ? Now I have to go and hunt for some kind of camisole at lunch and it will show lines on the back of the dress this is the dress I got, though once worn and for ½ price on eBay www.isabellaoliver.com/io/Shop?DSP=30100&PCR=2:100:1020&IID=DR60 mine?s in Indigo.

I?ll now attempt to catch up with you all???.

Bodkin · 09/11/2007 13:46

Hey all

I reckon you are on to something there with Iampg's tenant supersleuth Fettle! That would certainly explain the soil, high security measures etc. But those holes in the ceiling? It's just so like that film, wotsitmacallit - you know the Scottish one with the flatmates, christopher ecclestone etc. oh bloody hell can't think what it's called now! Anyway, I'm sure someone will know what I'm on about.

Aw Greedy - your little poppet is so cute - specially the close up picture. Congrats on FSAB - must admit, I was quick off the starting blocks, but there has been very little action since then!
PMSL at your little princess, compared to your DD1

Mrs - that dress is lovely - sure you'll look very elegant!

Fettle - I'm so that Toby will take a dummy! I've tried and tried with Isla, but she's having none of it. I have nothing against dummies if they stop a baby from crying! Speaking of which, she is, so better attend to her.]

May be back in a bit....

Bodkin · 09/11/2007 14:01

Ok, back again....

Am doimg an experiment today, am putting Isla in disposables to see if it improves her mood - as she is so much happier when nudey bum on her playmat. Well, I am gutted to say that so far she seems much happier (well, not gutted she is happy, obv., but gutted it is now going to cost me a fortune and goes against all my principles!) Oh, well, maybe just until she is a bit older and her skin is not so sensitive...

Mrsmc - don't panic too much about not knowing what to do in labour - your body will take over, honestly! Just trust in your instincts and urges!

ok, gotta go again....

fettleandbabyfettle · 09/11/2007 14:42

Only got micro-seconds til DH comes back - he's upstairs getting spare room ready as his parents arrive in a couple of hours - I should be cleaning the kitchen as Toby is settled, but @I've popped on here!!

Well, Toby seems much more settled these last couple of days - not sure what the difference is. Gave him no gaviscon yesterday, but gave him a dose this morning as he was very upset and i could hear him burping up stuff - poor boy. But it seemed to do the trick. Also hasn't needed the dummy today - but then he's slept pretty much from 8,30am til 2pm!! Awake now and smiling at the coffee table, which is nice!

Mrs, I agree with Bodders, don't worry too much. I made the decision to go into labour the first time slightly naive as then I wouldn't worry about it all. There will be people with you telling you what to do and it is amazing how your body takes over and basically does it for you! Just remember to push like you are pooing!! Only bit of advice i took and remembered when giving birth to DD!

Greedy - glad to hear you sounding happier. You were just fishing for compliments then!!! I must post some pictures of Toby as then you'll see how beautiful he is [biased mother emoticon!!]

Rah - I might be interested. I saw those cuddle-dry things on Dragon's Den last week and thought they might be useful!!! Ready has my e-mail address if you want to e-mail me the link. Hope yesterday wasn't too awful - beautiful idea to take a donation to the SCBU! Take care.xxx

Have to go - Toby wants more food.

Hello Greedy sorry to hear that about DH?s work ? it does seem very unfair hon, that is rubbish, for you, for DH and for the DCs how cute all three of them having their bath together though! 4 weeks already ? wow!! What an idiot doctor well done for storming out!! LOL at you pooing for the whole South of England ? couldn?t you have done my share too?! The physio yesterday went on and on about pelvic floors too ? I keep trying to remember Am I right in thinking you are the only one shagging at the moment on this thread? now I have remembered about Chooster?s bed hopping! no action in my house DH doesn?t like me LOL at you wanting a 4th one already though!!!!! gorgeous photos so love the one of all 3 on the floor holding hands!!!

Iampg I prefer the sound of a head out then one crowing to be honest ? I?ve heard it REALLY stings!! sounds like you are making massive progress with Oscar?s stuff!! So sorry about Meatloaf how annoying I had the same non payment issue with a tenant this week ? 8 working days late with his rent, thankfully he has now paid as I was panicking my direct debits would bounce. How awful about the property! My uncle has similar in London, they were using the flat as a hash farm, ultra violet lights and everything! Hope her deposit covers the damage.

Bodders ? thanks hon, I hope so. Hope that?s the back of the impetigo. Bodders ? I know exactly the film Shallow Grave?! Thanks for the reassurance about the birth

Fettle sounds like things are getting better with feeding Toby ohhhhhh wouldn?t a trip to Edinburgh zoo be fab! It might help me get rid of some baby weight!! I am busy, too busy, I am desperate to potter at home but I am just not getting a chance at the moment. Thanks to you too for reassuring me

Hey Honeymummy how is Dexter? must have been fun showing him off at the school!

Chooster hello you!

Hey Rah that sounds interesting, I?d love an email with the details ? do you still have my email address?

hi ladies

sorry this is going to be a bit of a lousy post we had some bad news this afternoon. dps bf has been found dead in his flat we knew he had some problems as he was declared bankrupt a year ago and he developed a drink problem. we visited him a number of times in hospital when we thought he was at his worse. but now this has happened they suspect he took a heroin overdose. i feel so sorry for him all alone. we really thought he was getting back on track

as for our tenant we havnt heard a peep from her and i assume we wont. her deposit is enough to cover the next mortgage payment as the place will now be empty for a while as it needs some work which will be paid for out of dps pocket i thought of cannabis fettle - but the glasses has "water" in with kind of limescale round and they had been burning ground coffee in saucepans - i suspected terrorists but dp thinks im mad the whole situation is just pure weird i think its somthing we will never find out - it could be completely innocent except for all the damage!!

greedy - congrats on your fsab!!! i cant even get a look in with dp like your dp mrs - he has gone off me!

il hopefully catch up at the weekend we have a visit around the delivery suite on sunday so should be interesting. out for an 80th birthday party tonight - bring on the cake and tea!! not that we are in the mood for it...

bye all x

Evening

DP has just taken DS to a school disco and is then taking DD swimming... she is feeling a bit put out at the moment with Dexter's arrival, so she needs some special daddy time! Dexter is asleep- as usual!

I have put some photos on my thingy but tried to just do it for friends... so have a try and see if it worked. Took me so blooming long to work it out have only got around to putting 3 pics on (including a fairly gruesome post-birth one). I need to update all your names on my friends list now...

I'm not sure that works ... didnt really want everyone on MN to see my photos (especially the gruesome one!)

Can you tell me if you can see my pics, ta
