Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

@Littlebee1990 I agree them tests are the devil. I wouldn't worry about lack of symptoms my husband is a twin and his mum had zero symptoms didn't even know she was pregnant till after 12 weeks. A girl on the facebook group just found out she is having twins with zero symptoms as well. The first couple of weeks i found out I was desperate to feel sick but now I've heard how bad others are feeling im quite glad for my lack of symptoms xx

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/09/2020 11:59

I had no symptoms with either of my pregnancies apart from really bad heartburn 2 days before my period was due.

Sophi123 · 19/09/2020 12:14

I've just started bleeding :(. Red blood and feels like period so guess I'm out. 5w2d and second early miscarriage (after first in July). Beyond gutted. Good luck to you all xxxxx

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 12:54

@Sophi123 I’m so so sorry, sending you lots of love 😢❤️

BabyMay29 · 19/09/2020 13:15

Hi @Nurserycottages so nice you had your first positive test. I am feeling shocked also but trying not to get too excited as not even past my period due date yet! Hopefully all is going to go well for us both! X x

Cafeaulait27 · 19/09/2020 15:27

@Sophi123 so sorry to hear that. Is there any chance it might not be? I know bleeding can happen for lots of reasons, maybe it will stop? Have you contacted the midwife?

Sophi123 · 19/09/2020 16:15

@Cafeaulait27 - I haven't contacted midwife as hadn't even contacted GP yet as only just over 5 weeks. It has kind of stopped but just have no other symptoms and after the chemical pregnancy in July just assume it isn't going to end well. Guess just see....

BabyMay29 · 19/09/2020 16:41

I am so sorry @Sophi123 sending all the best to you. Next month will come but fingers crossed it is just a mystery bleed ❤️❤️❤️

Gymbelle · 19/09/2020 16:52

@leftitlate37 I modified a normal workout today after lots of googling. It feels weird lowering the intensity but I’m trying to be careful. Going to speak to the dr on Monday.

@Whilstwewait thank you, same cycle 😀 can’t wait to share this journey with you.

@Cafeaulait27 we are. It doesn’t feel real at all. I can’t stop smiling.

@Littlebee1990 stay positive! Those tests aren’t accurate!

Welliedays · 19/09/2020 17:53

@sophi123 please make sure you call a midwife and chat to them to confirm. I'd also check in with the doctors if it's happened more than once as it could be a something like needing extra progesterone would make it stick. I'm so sorry it's happened twice, I had one in July too. Thinking of you

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/09/2020 18:20

Anyone else just feel sick constantly? Have a really sore head as well. I dont remember feeling this ill in april/may when I was last pregnant.

Also started my pregnacare tablets today

Elspethelf · 19/09/2020 18:35

@grandtheftwalrus I hope you start feeling better soon. This is my first pregnancy so I have no experience, but have been lucky to have relatively mild symptoms so far. They say every pregnancy is different

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/09/2020 19:07

I cant remember if I felt like this with my daughter either. That was 4 years ago.

Dreading work next week.

leftitlate37 · 19/09/2020 19:26

hey and congrats to all the new BFPs!!
how is everyone else doing? ah @Littlebee1990 after reading these posts i have had to stop myself using my last CB digital test, as it seems no good will come of this!! already working myself up into a state.
been feeling good today, but then this eve just felt like i do when got AF - really bad back and bloated with tummy cramps. it's normal right to be having those kinda symptoms? im sort of just expecting to find out that the BFP was actually not real.
@Sophi123 sorry to hear about the chemical rpegnancy in july, but really keeping every crossed for this time round.
Anyone else thinking hey its saturday and i fancy a drink?! oh well sprite zero it is :s

Cleozeta · 19/09/2020 19:28

Anyone else have normal boobs? Like, no soreness at all? 6+5 and getting concerned!!

Sophi123 · 19/09/2020 19:42

Thanks for all your support. Bleeding has stopped but have some cramping and backache. I'm not really sure who can call on weekend. Local EPU/GP open on Monday AM. Doesn't feel like should go to A&E especially as being only just over 5 weeks means they'll probably just say to wait and see how it plays out. Guess just need to sit tight but really not feeling hopeful, not helped by zero other symptoms until bleeding/cramping started today :(

Beepbeep42 · 19/09/2020 21:01

@Sophi123 sorry to hear your going through this. How long were you bleeding for? They said to me there was nothing they could do as long as the pain was manageable.

@GrandTheftWalrus the past few days I've felt sick from the morning I wake up until I go to bed with a thumping headache. Wasn't like this with my first. Had to leave work early Fri and I was lying scared to move on the sofa this morning, it's awful. Genuinely worried how long this will continue as I need to parent my toddler!

UnicornAndSparkles · 19/09/2020 21:07

@Sophi123 so sorry to hear your news. Really hope you're OK.

@GrandTheftWalrus yep feeling constantly sick too. Can't remember feeling so awful with DD 3.5y ago. I just want to stay in bed all day!

Halli2020 · 19/09/2020 21:11

Hello I am 5 weeks. Had some bleeding and cramping other day and went to gp and everything is fine, still getting positive tests and nausea, sleepiness and generally feeling crap. Congrats x

A11yj123 · 19/09/2020 21:38

@cleozeta

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/09/2020 21:47

Thanks ladies. It gets worse when I walk about. I've already told dh if its bad when I'm due back at work on Tuesday I'm not going in as I work nights with a lot of working.

Luckily dd is at my parents for another week. Then when she is here she's at nursery 9-3.

I didn't feel this bad in April so I'm taking this as a good sign. I'll phone the maternity centre when I'm 7wks as that's what I had to do last time.

Griffer · 19/09/2020 21:48

Just wanted to say hi.
I'm due mid May with my 2nd, so about 6 weeks pregnant. My DD will turn 2 in April '21 so they will be 2 years apart.
Nausea started like a switch on Friday, up until then I was a little worried, as zero other symptoms. Now I feel nauseous 24/7.
I really struggled through my last pregnancy, had a difficult birth experience and struggled through the first 6 months of having a baby. I had PND, but thankfully I got off lightly with it and got help early.
Terrified about having a second but myself and my partner are committed to staying positive.
Virtual wave to you all.

imisscoffee · 20/09/2020 07:15

Hi @griffer, I also had PND (undiagnosed with my first and finally sought help when my second was around 6 months old) I think groups like this are great as we're all going through the same stuff at the same time. My last birth club played a big part in me going to the gp and getting help.

hollywhooo · 20/09/2020 07:35

Morning all,
I had my BFP 3 weeks ago after 18 months TTC and am just over 7 weeks :)
So so nervous & still don’t really believe it especially as symptoms have been so mild! X

leftitlate37 · 20/09/2020 07:46

Hi @Griffer and hi @hollywhooo! So glad u r joining too!

Wow hollywhooo u must be over the moan!!! Fingers crossed everything all goes well and u keep feeling ok!!
