Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

@Littlebee1990 try not too worry too much x I was going to buy one of those but same as others after reading, I changed my mind x
I had one last FRER left which I was going to take this weekend anyway and then no more testing I've told myself x
Put my mind at ease as the preggers line came up before the control line this morning! Xx

Welcome @knickknack30 and @bouncycastle12

Interesting to hear about how inaccurate the clear blue tests can be. I've bought a pack of 50 cheap tests from eBay and have used about 10 since coming off the pill but I bought a pack of clear blue after my bfp to help work out my dates. I got a 3+ last Monday but I don't really want to do the second test now incase it shows something different. Still getting clear double lines on my cheapo tests and have got enough to last until the baby is here Grin

LittleTiger007 · 19/09/2020 07:42

Keep positive @Littlebee1990 🤞🏻. Hi @knickknack30 I quite agree that I wish I knew how risky this part of pregnancy is before trying too! Similarly to you, this is my second pregnancy this year, still to have first baby. It is a worry that statistically so very many pregnancies end early. Hoping and praying that we all go full term this time around. I did another test yesterday and it was less strong, it wasn’t the fmu though and my husband has made me promise not to test again for a week. I need to stop worrying and as @leftitlate37 so wisely said: I am trying to take each day as it comes. The symptoms of pregnancy are certainly strong at the moment. Back in June my pregnancy stopped at 8 weeks and my symptoms were still strong at 10 weeks though... anyway. Trying to focus upon this time. This time will be different. I speak it out loud and will it to be ok!
We’ve got this ladies. Stress won’t help. Sending up a prayer for all our little beans

LittleTiger007 · 19/09/2020 07:44

It was a digital I took too... ugh. I won’t buy them again.

knickknack30 · 19/09/2020 07:56

@LittleTiger007 after my test on Wednesday I decided I am not doing anymore. Maybe its burying my head in the sand but during the last pregnancy I used CB digital and it took a bit longer than it should have to get to 2-3 and I never got 3+ and I tortured myself. This time I'd much rather have a little bit of hope. Its such worrying trimester after a loss. Youre all so right though we have to just take it a day at a time

LittleTiger007 · 19/09/2020 07:59

Wise words @knickknack30

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 08:04

Thank you all so much, wish I’d never used it this morning! Just hoping for some good news at the scan in 2 weeks x

ShalomToYouJackie · 19/09/2020 08:07

@Littlebee1990 I got 2-3 a week after I first got 2-3 and was so scared, 3 days later I took another and got my 3+. So it took 10 days for it to change. They're horrid tests, they cause a lot of unnecessary stress so don't worry about them

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 08:48

@ShalomToYouJackie Thanks so much for sharing, I’m going to leave them alone and just wait until our early scan which is 2 weeks today. I’ll just keep everything crossed until then and try not too worry 😘

Cleozeta · 19/09/2020 08:58

I made that mistake last week too, although not with digital. I stupidly took a different brand test and then compared the line, which was lighter. Different brands are notoriously extreme in differences of strength, so I don't know why I did it, but it ruined my day. I vowed not to take any more tests and just wait for 7 week scan!

BabyMay29 · 19/09/2020 09:15

Hi everyone - Hope I am ok to join in! First time on here! I got a very light positive 5 days before period due yesterday! And today a positive 4 days before period and it’s quite a strong line for testing so early - is this normal or could this be twins 🤣! First baby and second month of trying and two months since we got married! I would be due 29th May! This week I have had flu symptoms and had to be off Ill from work. Boobs are hurting a lot and I am run down but very positive! How are you all doing? X x

LittleTiger007 · 19/09/2020 09:23

Hi @BabyMay29 if your baby arrives on it’s due date it’ll be born on my wedding anniversary! Congratulations on your bfp!

BabyMay29 · 19/09/2020 09:52

@LittleTiger007! Thank you! Sounds like a lucky day! ❤️

Nurserycottages · 19/09/2020 09:58

Hi everyone! I've been following for the past few days as couldn't quite believe I got a BFP!! It'll be my first baby and am quite overwhelmed and already feel like I have no clue what I should be doing or feeling 😂 I've been feeling quite sick of an evening, sore boobs and waking up at 4am!! Can't wait to share this journey with you all xx

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/09/2020 10:00

When i was pregnant with my daughter I got 3+ on a digital at a week late. With my loss at over a week late I was getting 2-3 and was continually testing as I just knew something was gonna happen.

This time I'm a week late and got 3+ straight away. So I'm hoping that's a good sign and it's going to stick

LittleTiger007 · 19/09/2020 10:07

Hi @Nurserycottages I e had the exact same symptoms, I feel sick at around 4-5 in the afternoon, sore boobs have only kicked in in the last few days and I wake up at about 4 with cramps. It is hard to know what to feel. Wishing you well.

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 10:07

@GrandTheftWalrus That’s good news for you but not what I wanted to hear 😩🙈

LittleTiger007 · 19/09/2020 10:12

Don’t take it to heart @Littlebee1990 ... everybody is different. So many people I read of here have had bleeds or had their hug kevels drop and they have gone on to have healthy babies. It’s a waiting game. I’m in the same position as you at the moment. It’s horrible. But we have to try to keep calm and wait and see.
It’s SO hard... I know. But stressing really is not going to help our chances. God bless you

LittleTiger007 · 19/09/2020 10:13

Sorry typos galore!

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 10:26

Nah I was just messing! Totally agree, I’m not going to test anymore and have all the positive vibes for all of us ❤️❤️

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 10:42

And thank you all for the support this morning, I’m usually such a care free person and I know no amount of tests or worry will tell me if all is ok or not!

Honestly wish I’d been taught about managing worry in TTC rather than shown a video on a wheeled in TV in school about how I’d get pregnant at the first sight of a penis .. I’m not going to test anymore, 2 weeks until the early scan so telling myself it’s just a TWW and I’ve done plenty of them this year! X

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/09/2020 10:45

Sorry @Littlebee1990 I'm wanting to test constantly as well but I'm not going to.

I had booked a private scan as dh wasn't allowed to my nhs one and we found out there.

I'm just going to try and relax this time and no private scans unless he isn't allowed to come

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 10:47

@GrandTheftWalrus Nothing to apologise for 🥰 I’m so pleased all is progressing for you and that’s a good idea for the scans xx

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/09/2020 10:49

Well I hope its progressing. I only tested as I thought my period was going awol again and I've only had 2 since my miscarriage. I've been drinking all week as I was on holiday but not another drop will pass my lips.

UnicornAndSparkles · 19/09/2020 11:53

Morning ladies.

7+6 here and can I just say, first trimester sucks! Sickness, worry and in my case both of those whilst chasing a 3yo. Im shattered and the day has barely started! (Although I've been up 6h thanks to said 3yo)
