@Workingmama1 nope nobody ever picked up on it and I had two scans previous to this bleed! I don’t think mines right next to sac though like she really had to search for it. She said it’s on the outside of my uterus so it sounds a bit different to some of the other subchorionic bleeds you read about. I’m still having brown and after googling it sounds like this can go on for weeks 😩 praying mine reabsorbs soon. What time is your scan tomorrow? Xx

Pugprincess · 20/09/2020 16:03

Hi @Cici89 I didn’t have such strong symptoms at the start of this one compared to the first one. Boobs definitely weren't very sore and even now that comes and goes. It’s still a bit early for sickness and tiredness potentially I think. I don’t get major sickness now I’ve never actually thrown up just feel a bit nauseous at times. I’m 9 weeks xx

Pugprincess · 20/09/2020 16:09

@SkyBlue20 I’m feeling ok in myself I just would like the bleeding to stop. Sonographer said try to wait a couple of weeks for another scan but I’m feeling like I need one weekly at the moment 🙈 especially as I would like to know if the bleeds shrinking or growing. My gp is calling me in the morning so I think I’ll tell her about it and see if she thinks the epu ought to be monitoring me again. Hopefully she will send me back to hosp for another scan although I don’t like going alone-not sure if partners are allowed into the epu yet?
My first midwife app tomorrow on the phone too! I have to go in for bloods and collect my notes etc too at some point, hopefully tomorrow after work if she can squeeze me in. Another milestone as didn’t get that far last time.

Hope you are all good xx

Smilingdonkey · 20/09/2020 17:00

@workingmama1 you are not bringing anyone down ... That's why we are all here 😊 hope you are ok xxxx

Lrr31 · 20/09/2020 17:13

Hey ladies

I posted a little while back but have been quiet since, helpful reading others posts. I just wondered how other are getting on with headaches? I seem to be getting them pretty much everyday and they’re (pun intended) doing my head in! Ps I’m 13+5 weeks now.

Workingmama1 · 20/09/2020 17:28

Thanks all, it has honestly been brilliant to have your support! We've not told lots of people and none of them have been through a loss before so it's so nice to have you all 😊

I'm feeling a bit better, managing to eat today, yesterday I just went off all food with worry and shock. Not sure if the nausea I'm now feeling is MS or a hangover from not really eating yesterday! My temp is coming back down too to 37.2, still higher than average but not as concerning.

@Pugprincess interesting the hematoma wasn't picked up on earlier scans, I'm hoping that is what it is.

Not sure I'll sleep tonight but at least I will know where we are in the morning....

Pugprincess · 20/09/2020 19:40

@Workingmama1 I bet they just randomly develop though, you know with the growing and stuff? Might not have been there before. Best of luck for the scan tomorrow. Xx

@Lrr31 I woke up with a headache this morn. I drank lots of water and that seemed to help. I don’t like to take tablets xx

Lrr31 · 20/09/2020 21:37

Thanks @Pugprincess - I’ve been drinking water by the gallon and nothing is shifting it 😳

Pugprincess · 20/09/2020 22:44

@Lrr31 😩 I think if it was really really unbearable I’d have to take paracetamol but if your having the headaches frequently it’s not really what you want to do I guess? I wonder if that 4head roll on is any good and safe to use? X

SkyBlue20 · 21/09/2020 08:13

Morning everyone!

@Workingmama1 Hope today’s scan goes well. Thinking of you xx

@SmileyT BooborBust sounds great, thank you!

Welcome @Cici89! So sorry for your loss and congratulations on your BFP! I think 4+5 could still be quite early for symptoms so I wouldn’t worry too much - and some women don’t get them at all! Hopefully you’ll get a little something soon though to help ease your mind, I know how reassuring symptoms can be.

@Pugprincess Hope your appointments go well today. Did you say you’re back in work today too? Good luck, sure all will be fine ☺️

@Lrr31 I had a couple of days of terrible headaches but luckily nothing since. Not much I did helped if I’m honest (sorry!) I believe Paracetamol is ok to take though and some people swear by 4head (though mixed reviews on here), might be worth a try just in case? I feel for you, headaches are awful!

Exhausted again today, it’s overwhelming how tired I’ve been the last few days. Anybody else? Three day week for me then away for three nights though, can’t wait! Though I am hearing lockdown restrictions may come in to play tomorrow so Boris might put an end to my plans yet 😫

Workingmama1 · 21/09/2020 10:03

Scan went well! I'm so relieved, I woke up at 1am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep for worrying. They couldn't find any obvious reason for the bleed and said it might have just all cleared already. Measuring 11+1 which matches exactly with my last scan dates. Also no need to change my dating scan which will still be on Friday. I think I'm still coming down from the shock of there being a wriggly baby in there, I almost can't believe it, don't think it has sunk in... I was in and out within 20 minutes, sonographer literally put the prob on my tummy and was like here is your baby with a heartbeat within seconds!

Poppy10121 · 21/09/2020 10:23

@Workingmama1 yay!! SO happy for you, I bet it’s a huge relief! Perfect little picture there, looks so cosy 💕

@Lrr31 I had some really bad headaches and didn’t want to take paracetamol so I’ve bought some 4Head but the headaches stopped so I haven’t had a chance to try it yet but maybe worth a shot?

Sakura54 · 21/09/2020 10:25

I’m going to make a new thread later as this is filling up.

Ah that’s so great @Workingmama1 and not at all, you didn’t bring the group down. After what we’ve been through, we have even more reason to panic. In fact we don’t deserve to have any bleeding or worry, yet most of us did! I was about to ask why they would need to change your scan date as it needs to be done either way. Now you can breathe easy and have a nice scan!

@bubblybon20 Lovely! Proper bump there. Did that appear overnight? Let’s see these bumps, ladies. I will join in once I have something to show, at this rate maybe in the third trimester lol.

I still find it interesting how they give you a customised baby growth chart based purely on your ethnicity and height/weight. You’d think they’d at least want to know about your partner’s size. I actually thought I’d be sent for growth scans with my first due to lack of bump but according to them, small women have small babies, therefore small bumps! A bit silly and I did query it, but they’ve seen it all before so I guess regardless of your bump size, it’s all normal. (My pics are stored on my external hard drive. I’ll have to dig it out one day to show you guys).

Wow, I thought it was too early for this, but I felt movement so looked at my belly and saw that it was bulging on one side and felt hard meaning that's where baby is hanging out. The pic isn't great, can you see which side? If not it's ok, well this is how I look lying down after tea and cookies for breakfast anyway lol.

@Workingmama1 so glad your scan went well! 💕

@Sakura54 yeah! It literally appeared over a couple of days, madness! And omg you can defo see where baby is lying! How crazy!!! 😱😱

ew1990 · 21/09/2020 11:13

@sakura wow you can really see that. That's amazing.

ew1990 · 21/09/2020 11:24

@workingmama so glad the scan went well. Bet your so relieved. Today is the first day I've felt some what normal. Not tired at all. And only got 1 spot. Hoping I get that 2nd trimester glow Soon!

Lu93 · 21/09/2020 11:35

So so pleased for you @Workingmama1! 💕💕

SkyBlue20 · 21/09/2020 11:50

@Workingmama1 YES! I'm SO happy for you 💕 What a relief that must be. And yay to your scan still being this week so you can see the little one again 🥰 Congratulations 🥰

@Sakura54 Wow, thanks for noticing we need a new thread - that seems to have filled up so quickly! That's so true about the growth chart - you'd really think your partner's height would count. My ethnicity is listed as 'other' on the chart so not too convinced it'll be correct anyway 😂
Wow, can really see where baby is, that's so exciting! Am I right in thinking you're about 17 weeks now?

Workingmama1 · 21/09/2020 11:59

Thank you so much ladies, I think I'm still coming down from the nerves and adrenaline! Seriously considering heading out for a KFC (I still really don't feel like eating), it's not something I would normally eat but need to try to get something in me and feel a good scan warrants a naughty treat after the last 2 days!

@Sakura54 I can see where the baby is, it's mad that you can see that already!
