@loobyloo1234 remember, everyone is an expert whether they’ve had kids or not.... drives me insane!

A couple of friends of mine are very slim and they showed a lot quicker than most. This is my second and my bump and popped really quickly.

Babafarmer · 21/08/2020 09:17

Is anyone else suffering from headaches? I'm 10+6 and for the last two days had one that wouldn't budge. I just generally feel shattered and can't motivate myself to do very much. Xx

Oldermum80 · 21/08/2020 09:22

@Babafarmer I’m the same. I hit 5 pm and feel lousy. No energy, headache and just not myself.

Clara9 · 21/08/2020 09:47

@Anonymom31 your scan is so lovely!

krj2608 · 21/08/2020 09:50

Morning all,

Hope you are all ok this morning. I'm still waiting and hoping all is ok. Sickness is getting worse, cannot keep anything down this morning and spotting has eased a lot so taking that as a good sign. Sleep is up and down, headache is delightful (not!). X

chloxhunt · 21/08/2020 09:59

@Babafarmer since 8 weeks I've been get a migraine once a week, this weeks was the worst, my hand, lips and tip of my nose went numb and i was sick along with it

GreysLove · 21/08/2020 10:57

@Dreamcatcher007 I asked my cousin who's a personal trainer to write me some safe exercises, he's worked with a few pregnant clients before. His main thing was no twisting and no spinal loading and low impact. There's also good workouts on YouTube for first trimester, I've just been trying to make sure I get my 10k steps in most days and doing weighted squats and lunges and some arm exercises when I get a burst of energy (not often). Trying to get my body strong for the next 7 months and labour (scares me thinking about the pain I'm a bit of a wimp).

ValidUser · 21/08/2020 11:09

Anyone else's boobs getting less sore? I'm coming up to 9 weeks and baby is moving around on scan, so all is good, but they're not as achy.

GreysLove · 21/08/2020 11:14

Ugh! just had my first morning sickness after 2/3 weeks of nausea this came out of nowhere! Just wondering is it meant to be just a quick retch or puke until you've brought everything up? Mine was the latter (thank god I'd only had tea and a ginger biscuit), and it took me by surprise how much it was like normal sickness. That must sound so stupid but I had in my head it would somehow be different? 😂 What an idiot lol

Hoping it's a one off as we're away with OH family for 3 nights today in an Airbnb, will be a lot harder to hide!

ValidUser · 21/08/2020 11:26

@GreysLove I've only vomited once so far, and becoming a little less nauseated. But I'm not panicking as baby is active on scan. It mightn't get worse!

Clara9 · 21/08/2020 11:27

@ValidUser mine were unbearably sore before I realised I was pregnant and although they are uncomfortable and definitely bigger, the pain has eased off.

GreysLove · 21/08/2020 11:29

@ValidUser thanks that gives me hope it's a one off. I'm 9w exactly today and figured it would have happened by now if the nausea was going to turn to anything. So far I feel like I could handle this better than the nausea tbh that constant up and down feeling is tiring

chloxhunt · 21/08/2020 12:39

@GreysLove mines the same, I don't feel sick i just suddenly start being sick it's odd

loobyloo1234 · 21/08/2020 13:14

Sometimes I dry heave out of nowhere but no proper sickness so far.

Please wish me luck all. Im off out for lunch with 3 friends. None of them know. I have to somehow cover this all up whilst feeling nauseous, ready to heave any second and have a big bloated belly Grin

ChilternsHan · 21/08/2020 14:40

@ValidUser Mine are less sore than they were definitely, although still more uncomfortable than usual. I'm 10+4.

The main symptom I have that hasn't eased really is the occasional cramping - I am trying to stay hopeful that it's just everything stretching as it should, especially as I've had it throughout the pregnancy and saw a heartbeat at 7+4.

Mandy133 · 21/08/2020 14:47

Hey ladies!

My breasts defiantly feel less achey, I’ve always been a small cup so they are still heavy but just not as sore.

I’ve also found one breast to be an inch or so bigger than the other! Confused

I feel like my symptoms are coming and going and trying to stay positive, feeling gassy and bloated on some days and small waves of nausea come and go.

Currently at 7 weeks post having a chemical last month.

Hope all you ladies are doing well x

chloxhunt · 21/08/2020 15:02

@ChilternsHan I've had cramping since I was like 4 weeks and I thought it was just my period coming lol! That was my first symptom tbh

ElsiesJourney · 21/08/2020 15:20

I'd agree, my boobs have definitely got less sore but the sensitivity has not gone altogether. Fingers crossed I don't get migraines as well, I used to get them so badly 👀

My 'bump' is feeling more firm although not really a bump yet and I'm 11 weeks.

Any advice on maternity bras for big busts I was. A 36G before they started ballooning so am dreading to hear what they are now but defo need something at night to support them a bit now as well as new bras soon.

ValidUser · 21/08/2020 15:39

Thanks everyone.

@ElsiesJourney would like advice on the bra thing too. It's like I've got space hoppers on my chest.

ElsiesJourney · 21/08/2020 15:43

Ha ha ha yes @ValidUser. That's how I feel. Bravissimo is my normal go to, but wondered if anybody had anything else to suggest.

YorkshireGirl35 · 21/08/2020 15:45

If anyone is suffering from headaches and doesn’t want to constantly take paracetamol those 4head. sticks can take the edge off. Mine is next to me all day at work at the moment! Apologies if it’s already been mentioned I struggle to keep up on this thread at the moment.
I’ve got a scan at 9 weeks tomorrow and feel so scared that the baby won’t be there, even though I saw it at 6 weeks. I feel like such an anxious mess with my pregnancy.

LandMammal · 21/08/2020 16:17

@Dreamcatcher007 I'll try and fit in 15 mins at least 5 days a week, try and do 30mins on two of those days. Modified slightly, as in no crunches& anything that puts downward pressure on the pelvic floor. Jessica ennis hill has some good exercises for pregnant women.
I was badly prepared first time round even though I'm very sporty, but in terms of maintaining good core strength and pelvic floor, I neglected them, and learned the hard way! Core work doesn't need to be strenuous either.

@NoGinNotComingIn ah we are in a similar position then in that we have 3 children and being slim (plus I love gin 😜)! 20weeks as a secret would be quite impressive! Makes sense to wait for abnormality results, I hadn't thought of that...

Clara9 · 21/08/2020 17:04

@ChilternsHan I’ve had the same. When I saw the midwife this week she wasn’t fussed by it at all, so feeling more reassured that it’s normal.

Jebbs · 21/08/2020 17:11

@ElsiesJourney i have bravissimo, including a sleeping bra I got last time round (I think there are two versions bit mine unclips as I got it for breastfeeding). I've also seen molke recommended for bigger busts.

ChilternsHan · 21/08/2020 17:53

Thanks @Clara9 that's reassuring! I spoke to my midwife so long ago (24 June) so it's good to hear that they aren't worried by it.

Such limbo this first trimester! Sure I'll be complaining about all the appointments in a couple of months.
