Good luck for those being scanned today.

Anyone else started with the vivid dreams? I had my first last night and it was about a traumatic labour not nice! Already not sleeping great, I'm a front sleeper and sore boobs are preventing me sleeping this way and obviously once there's a bump there's no way to sleep that way. I miss it lol

DSP21 · 20/08/2020 08:31

@Thack it's not foolish at all, I got to mine and was told to provide a sample and I had a completely empty bladder. I chugged water for about 10 mins and waited it out till I got just about enough to fill the container 😂 it's gonna be super diluted but what the hell. I should have just asked to go back the next day 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sussexbysea · 20/08/2020 08:38

@Anonymom31 enjoy seeing little baby waving around.

I had a scan at 8 weeks too and I know what you mean by it feeling like a lifetime ago. Two weeks today for me!

Oldermum80 · 20/08/2020 08:40

@Thack same here! She asked had I done one when I went in the room...well no I didn’t realise I had to (it’s 15 years since I was last there so things have changed 😂) I did notice that the heavily pregnant lady next to me had collected her own bottle and went off and was prepared. They were all on a table to collect but no one told me and I wasn’t going to just help myself lol.

JTB123 · 20/08/2020 10:38

@Thack omg ME EITHER!! 🤣 id just had a wee before I went to I was like completely empty!!

JTB123 · 20/08/2020 10:39

I've ordered a load of bits from next Clearance!! If you look on the website they have loads of good bits for under a tenner and Dorothy Perkins too

LottieX · 20/08/2020 10:50

@bobloblawlawblog how have you found Shein? Is it good quality and can you return things easily? I've always been put off ordering before because I've got big boobs and now they're a 34H and I'm worried nothing would fit!

loobyloo1234 · 20/08/2020 11:23

Morning all
Blimey I feel terrible today. Keep wretching, nausea. Stupid crazy dreams last night aswell

And stressful work day. How am I going to get through the next 6-7 months haha!?

Some of those skirts are nice on Shein @bobloblawlawblog - so tempted to buy a few bits now. Or should I wait for the scan on Saturday? Hmm

Sussexbysea · 20/08/2020 11:49

@loobyloo1234 I’m waiting for the scan till I order anything baby/ maternity related. I’m in desperate need of proper bras too. Does everyone just go up a cup size?

Most of the time I don’t wear a bra (unless I’m out of the house) they throb and swell so much

loobyloo1234 · 20/08/2020 11:53

Ah ok not just me then. I've actually just ordered one of these to help my sore swollen boobs. It popped up on my instagram ads and just looks so comfy

aureliacecilia · 20/08/2020 12:00

I've got my scan date - 15th September. I'll be 12+5 when I go. Am I the last one to have a scan? I hope it all looks good - it'll be the first time I see the baby and I really hope it will be good news.

DSP21 · 20/08/2020 12:07

@aureliacecilia I still haven't got a scan date but i'm not 12 weeks till the 12th Sept, so I'm a few days behind you still! It means I get to see all the amazing scans from the group before mine!

bobloblawlawblog · 20/08/2020 12:08

Fabric really decent for the price. Better than Primark or H&M. More like the Sainsbury's fabric. And returns easy I've sent a couple back that were too big and reordered smaller.

bobloblawlawblog · 20/08/2020 12:09

Looby it takes a good week to arrive so I'd order it now (I'm impatient though!)

LuHen · 20/08/2020 12:27

Hi guys! Jumping back on as I'm due approx March 16th - had some spotting at 6 weeks so had an early scan back then. Got my booking apt next week and hopefully a 12 week scan date to follow! Xxx

chloxhunt · 20/08/2020 12:28

Finally got my 12 week scan date through! Bring on the 11th sept

EmMissingnormalfood · 20/08/2020 12:33

I bought some cheap loose dresses from new look to get me through. I found my bloating made my normal clothes really uncomfortable. Starting to feel more normal now, minus the queasiness yesterday. I’m hoping this is a sign that things will be better from second trimester.

Does anyone else have hip pains? It woke me up last night and was horrible.

ValidUser · 20/08/2020 12:43

Thanks everyone!

@chloxhunt your 12 week scan is just about a week before mine!

DSP21 · 20/08/2020 12:48

@chloxhunt so exciting!!

loobyloo1234 · 20/08/2020 12:50

Perfect thanks @bobloblawlawblog - I have my private scan this weekend, so all being well, I'll order ready for the following weekend ... hopefully Grin

My official scan is the beginning of Sept so Im similar to some others. Is anyone's partner allowed into their NHS scan yet? Mine still isn't at our local hospital Sad

Thack · 20/08/2020 12:56

@aureliacecilia I'm on the 16th. I'm predicted late march so expecting to be told it's April 😬

So glad I'm not the only one who wasn't expecting to pee!

chloxhunt · 20/08/2020 12:58

@loobyloo1234 no my partner can't come in! :(

chloxhunt · 20/08/2020 12:59

@ValidUser ayeee I'm so excited but nervous because my partner come in 😂

Mandy0831 · 20/08/2020 13:01

I haven't got my scan date year but I'm 12 weeks on 15 Sept.

Current I have been living in sports bras as I need to get bigger bras but I'm holding of until 12 weeks.

I'm going to try and hold of until I'm 12 weeks to buy any clothes. I'm hoping I can just got a size up or two. I did this with my previous pregnancies.

Definitely like the clothes on Shein and reasonable price.
