@ChampooPapi ... I was just curious to see if anyone had any nice recipes as I am going shopping tomorrow and wanted to try some new things. I wasn't looking to be preached at for my kitchen appliance choices - I know plenty of parents who don't own a microwave.

I thought this section was pretty good for a range of ideas. 😊

Breast pump...another thing I haven't thought of!

@chubbyhotchoc I believe breast lumps are very common in pregnancy so hopefully nothing to worry about, glad you are getting it checked out though x

We are still trying to eat down the freezer to make space, then I think I'm just going to do a bit extra and freeze some most times we cook so it doesn't feel like a mamouth task

My mum has a hugeeeee freezer so I’m going to ask her if I can have a drawer and freeze things in portions :) (she’s local).

@EithneBlue yes I never had one with my first and we didn't have one growing up, most families I knew also didn't. They are just such a time saver which helps so much. I wasn't 'preaching' I was just expelling the virtues of their uses, considering how much time I've spent on the threads and support I've offered I find your comment personally quite rude

107 days to go! 😍 It's when you start thinking 'this baby's got to come out somehow.....'

@Pinktruffle I've been off work since March too and wont be going back so it'll be 18 months off work in total for me by the time I go back!

@chubbyhotchoc sorry to hear about your lump that must be a worry for you! I hope that it turns out to be nothing serious and they see you quickly about it x

@ChampooPapi - I asked if anyone had any good recipes for non microwave freezer meals. Instead of responding to that, you literally begged me to buy a microwave when I'd already said I wasn't interested in having one and I wasn't asking for an opinion. That was equally rude. If you'd just said "Oh, I got a microwave and found it useful for the convenience" that would be OK as a piece of (unsolicited) advice - but you tried to impose your choices onto me by telling me what to so. Telling me I am "cutting off my own nose to spite my face" is critical and felt pretty judgemental.
So yes, I am angry. I didn't ask for that advice, and I certainly didn't ask to be told how to live my life. I literally asked for recipes.

@chubbyhotchoc I had a strange nipple incident pre-pregnancy and have to say the NHS was great, I was seen quickly and discharged with my mind at ease. I've heard lumps are quite common in pregnancy so hope you get the same reassurance soon

Hello! Can’t believe we’re on a new thread! I’m moving in to my new place tomorrow. We made the trek across to Belfast yesterday on the ferry and we’re now at my mums basically waiting to collect the keys in the morning!

I have my first consultant appt (and booking in - again) at my new hospital booked, just need to register with a GP now.

128 days to go for me!

@EithneBlue I'm really sorry I offended you, I would never want to upset any one on here.

Also we don’t have a TV for the new place yet so expect me to much more active on here again! LOL!

Thanks all. I have an appointment Monday so not too long to wait. I got myself in a state yesterday about it and chomped my way through a share bag of minstrels but I'm feeling much better and more positive today. General pregnancy all seems ok. Bit sick off and on but nothing as awful as first trimester. Anyone else still feeling sick?
@ChampooPapi have you had any more scans of the twins?

Report
peachypetite · 30/07/2020 20:46

So glad my nausea finally went, not until week 16 tho. It’s a long time to feel shit. I would deffo take the back and pelvic pain over the god awful nausea of t1.
Has anyone had cravings? I just ate Nutella out the jar with a spoon because had mad urge for chocolate and nothing in...

No more sickness thank God. First trimester was hideous, could barely leave the house from week 4 to week 20 🤮
Other than a few dodgy days which I put down to antibiotics for my third UTI of the pregnancy, feeling an awful lot better. Now it's all about eating, eating and more eating! 🐽

Does anyone keep having a bloody nose? I haven’t had full on nose bleeds but it’s mostly stuffy and most days has some blood I think must be hormones as I didn’t have it before

Report
peachypetite · 30/07/2020 21:46

@Babyhope98 yes I had this a couple of weeks back, mainly during the morning. To be honest anything weird I notice about my body, whether it’s nose bleeds, dandruff, whatever, is always linked to being pregnant when I google it!!

@chubbyhotchoc sorry to hear you have been stressed about finding a lump. Like others, I hope it is just pregnancy related and you get the reassurance you need on Monday xx
