Hi all!

Hope everybody who is scanning today has positive and wonderful news.

My scan is on Wednesday morning - should be 7 weeks then.

I ate so much mac and cheese yesterday 🙈 need to eat something healthy!

Bearcub01 · 27/07/2020 12:41

@Jebbs I’m 6+6 and have no symptoms really. I’ve had sore boobs since ovulation, the week I tested they felt harder than what they are now. I just feel tired and have become very lazy but thought it would be more full on than this. I still don’t ‘feel’ pregnant.

Headingtowardsforty · 27/07/2020 12:50

So, it's not good news from me. The scan showed a sac, but only measuring about 6 weeks (I should be nearly 8). They wanted to rescan in 2 weeks time, but since I've got home I have been bleeding very heavily and I'm in lots of pain too.

Thanks for all the support, but time for me to bow out. I wish the rest of you happy and healthy pregnancies.

@Headingtowardsforty so
Sorry for your loss x

Sussexbysea · 27/07/2020 13:01

@Headingtowardsforty I’m so sorry. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I hope that in the months to come when you’ve healed mentally and physically, it’ll be your turn again. Xxx

@Sussexbysea I don't think we'll try again to be honest. This pregnancy wasn't planned and age isn't really on my side.

Sh4mmy · 27/07/2020 13:06

@Headingtowardsforty I'm so sorry to hear this! Sending you lots of love xx

Headingtowardsforty · 27/07/2020 13:10

@Sh4mmy thanks, how did you get on?

Jebbs · 27/07/2020 13:13

@Headingtowardsforty I'm so sorry. Wishing you all the best, whatever the future holds x Flowers

Dipsy77 · 27/07/2020 13:18

Sussexbysea · 27/07/2020 13:19

@Sh4mmy how about you?xx

@Headingtowardsforty I’m so sorry. The same happened to me at my early reassurance scan in March where I was two weeks behind. I didn’t miscarry until the day of my next scan two weeks later (the day before my 40th). It was horrific and I ended up needing intervention.
I said I wouldn’t put myself through it again after two miscarriages, but then I thought what if I give up and next time it is okay? At first I thought maybe it’s a sign, maybe I’m too old but we are trying once last time and praying this time, it works out.
I hope that you are doing ok and in time you too may feel that you can try again but I understand if you don’t as you have to do what is best for you.
Take care.

BabySweet85 · 27/07/2020 13:43

@Headingtowardsforty I am very sorry - my best wishes and love x

Headingtowardsforty · 27/07/2020 13:44

@Oldermum80 I'm hoping that I'm not going to need any intervention or even another scan, it's very clear that I'm miscarrying. Apart from the stomach pain I feel okay. The nurse at the epu said there's no reason to think we couldn't try again, but I'm not sure at the moment.

Babafarmer · 27/07/2020 13:46

@Headingtowardsforty I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how you must be feeling x

Sh4mmy · 27/07/2020 13:49

@Sussexbysea , @Headingtowardsforty and everyone else who asked, I've had a similar experience to @Headingtowardsforty! The sac is very clearly there but only showing 4/5 weeks and so I've either got my dates wrong or the baby stoped growing 😢!

I've had my bloods done today and have to have them done again on weds and another scan next week, but in my heart I know
Deep down it's gone, I'm devastated to be honest but my OH is being amazing and said if it's the end then we will try again when we're ready! So I just have to rest and sit tight I suppose!

Hope everyone else is ok xx

Oldermum80 · 27/07/2020 13:49

@Headingtowardsforty it didn’t hit me for a
month. I would have due next week with my first mordanted and then early November for second and in my head I had to be pregnant to be able to cope with them.
Everyone is different plus you will be all over the place at the moment trying to process it all and deal with so many different emotions. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Here if you need to talk x

Oldermum80 · 27/07/2020 13:51

@Headingtowardsforty *miscarriage not mordanted. My phone has a mind of its own.

Sussexbysea · 27/07/2020 13:52

@Sh4mmy it’s so sad, I’m sorry. Maybe at your next scan, baby may have grown some more.

Did you bleeding or was this a reassurance scan?

EmzG20 · 27/07/2020 13:53

@Headingtowardsforty @Sh4mmy

I had that same thing back in February, I'm here if you want to talk or anything, please be kind to yourselves x

Headingtowardsforty · 27/07/2020 13:57

@Sh4mmy bless you. I knew when they sent me to the toilet after the abdominal scan and the spotting had changed to bright red and there was a clot there.

@Oldermum80 it's very strange. I have spent so many years assuming that I couldn't get pregnant again (I took clomid to conceive my son) that this one was a complete shock. I think I'm a bit numb at the moment. Grateful we hadn't told our parents tho.
