I ended up calling 111 as midwife wouldn’t even speak to me because I had a high temp. When I got through they said they thought I had Corona and would have to send an Ambulance as I couldn’t drive to the hospital. After all the tests they said I had high infection markers and should stay at home and rest.

They didn’t check baby and sent me on my way. I have a private scan booked in next week so fingers crossed that goes well

@Boredinthehouse12 oh no! I tested positive for covid. You can order yourself a test online to double check if you have it or not unless they did it at hospital?

Was it the temperature that caused you to call 111?

@babysweet85 the Harmony test is a blood test for down’s, edward’s and patau’s syndromes. More accurate than the nuchal translucency and hormone tests the NHS usually does, less invasive than amino, but private (£450 here in London for scan and bloods - not cheap!).

How is everyone doing today? I had an awful dream that I started bleeding again when I wiped, same as with my first miscarriage and woke with stomach pains, so not sure if it was subconscious because of that. It’s so stressful after losses and the days just drag. I don’t feel pregnant and that is what happened with my second so I’m nervous it will be another missed one. Never thought I’d be wanting morning sickness as I had it so bad with my daughter, but it would help reassure me.

@Headingtowardsforty @Jenw2018 I am thinking of you both. I know what a worry it is and how you feel in limbo not knowing.

@Oldermum80 it is the limbo that is doing my head in. I just need to know one way or the other. Less than 24 hours to go tho.

I’m concerned with my temp getting so high it would have impacted baby. I got to 41 degrees and was having awful night sweats and chills during the day. No cough though! I ordered a test online so once it arrives I’ll get it done ASAP

Yes, I’m positive now but my daughter and other half are negative.

I had no symptoms apart from a cough that felt a bit heavy on my chest which lasted an hour. I ordered a test and the next day when it arrived my cough had gone. I did the test not expecting anything and it came back positive. Pregnant and covid, great!!

Hi everyone hope you are all doing well. I was so confused that on my last thread it wouldn't post but glad I found this... Sickness has well and truely kicked in for me. Has anyone ever used those acupressure wrist bands? If so do they actually work? I'm struggling as just started a new job and already had to have 2 days off because ive felt so exhausted, weak, sick, no energy etc. Got blood tests Tuesday to check anaemia etc but have no appetite for anything but chocolate and crisps!! I dont want to be going to work tomorrow and feeling like this! Need help and tips asap!

How's everyone else getting on? I'm 6w today and feel fine except I'm so damn tired. Having trouble getting to sleep at night, and then up with DS at least twice as he's got molars coming through. I'm knackered!
I've got my bloods on Friday, and then judging by DS timeline (this baby is due a few days after he was) I'll have scan 1st week of september.it feels so far away, and I'm tempted to do an early scan because I'm impatient. I'm put off by the reviews of the ones near me though, and also because I'm actually quite calm about this pregnancy, so not sure if just being inpatient justifies doing it. 😂

Just joining the new thread! Thanks for setting up. I have a Facebook group from my last group which was amazingly helpful and just a bit more user friendly than these threads!

Hi, just to jump in and say there are no secret groups anymore, they are private and hidden. The March Mumsnet one has nearly 40 members and is private and hidden so no friends can see it

Evening ladies, just thought I'd drop by as I'm trying to keep calm and tomorrow morning still seems a very long way away. My spotting had calmed down, but the last time I went to the toilet I had a couple of very dark, slimy lumps (sorry, tmi). I haven't got any cramps tho. Still feeling massively sick and my nipples are sore. Oh, why isn't Monday morning yet?

@Sh4mmy scan is at 10.30, so at least not too long to wait once I make it to the morning. How are you doing?

@babafarmer thank you, the day has gone so slowly. I was starting to think it was going to be okay, until this evening.

Just wanted to say best wishes to you all, unfortunately I had a big bleed today and passed some tissue too. Will have it confirmed by the doc tomorrow but I don’t think this try has been successful. Wasn’t meant to be.
