My tryst has just opened up again, partners were allowed to scans from 1st August

@Sussexbysea ohhh super noodles I've not had them for ages might try and see
If I can stomach them. Plain pasta is one of the main things I can stomach but even that's making me feel queasy today

I can't remember who posted which bit as I would have tagged you but I am eating non-stop but don't really like any food in the house, so looking hopelessly in the fridge every now and then before having to go to the shop and buy cheesy pasta because apparently all I want is carbs with cheese sauce! I'm making myself go for a 3-4km walk every morning and eat at least 1 piece of fruit to try and resemble healthy for a least a bit of the day.
I've started to feel sick standing up for too long, walking is fine but I had to queue to get in a shop yesterday and thought I was going to spew in my face mask! (TMI sorry!)

@EmzG20 have you tried crumpets? I find them ok to stomach at any time of the day x

Just to update you, went to the hospital yesterday for a scan, there was no baby in the sac. So back at the hospital today for another scan as my HCG tripled yesterday in a week, gotta decide on route to terminate the sac. Wishing all the mums a successful pregnancy xx

@Sussexbysea I'm not very close to my family but I find they don't like to talk about anything emotional and half don't want to believe the abuse because they saw it and feel guilty they didn't do anything.
Normally we have therapist and stuff at uni I can access but it's all closed and they can only do so much, like organising not unpacking trauma. I think I will be fine as along as the midwives understand and i feel like they are on my side. Because from the outside I just look like some mental women until I explain so I'm always paranoid they will jump the gun and get SS or mental health teams involved when actually I just need understanding. Not that it's ever happened before just an irrational fear.

@MsK2be89 no I'll get my husband to pick some up on the way home and give them a try thank you. I carry around a packet of ginger biscuits with me at the minute luckily I work from home

Finally got an early scan tomorrow due to having cramps I haven't even seen a midwife yet so let's hope everything's all okay!

@H108 so sorry to hear this! I'm going through the exact same thing, it started 2 weeks ago with the initial scan and tomorrow I have the final scan and then a conversation on how to remove the sac!

@ChilternsHan The sniffer dog is totally me now - I’m super sensitive to smells now!

I’m 10 weeks today as well and I do think I’m showing so clearly now! I’m worried about meeting any friends as to me, the bump is so obvious! 🤦‍♀️ Got some new “sack-like” tops today, and I think that’s me now... 😊

Also - is anyone suffering with headaches? I normally don’t get them, but now if i don’t get 8 hours of sleep, I get throbbing ache in my left temple all day, and just feel like a wreck.

@H108 I’m so sorry, that is heartbreaking! Please let us know how you get on. Hopefully this is all resolved quickly and the next one is a successful easy pregnancy! 🤞🤞

@2020wish I just had my 6 week scan yesterday too. I'm back to the clinic in 8 weeks and hoping to see more then!

@ValidUser how far along did they say you were?

It’s such a good thing I’m working from home, I literally can’t keep my eyes open. I had to have a little nap before a conference call I needed to dial in to. I’m whacked! Also, a 4.20 start with my daughter didn’t help this morning

@Sussexbysea I'm 6+3. And autocorrect did something to my post. It's at 8 weeks, not in 8 weeks. IVF, so close monitoring!
