@Chloetipper what nausea meds did you get prescribed?
We have the same due date also :)

Sh4mmy · 05/08/2020 17:08

@Sussexbysea

All was fine with me and baby at the scan. I’m matching the dates I thought I was 8+2. We saw the heartbeat. Luckily my other half was able to come in with me

I’m so relieved

Love this @Sussexbysea big hugs and good luck. Xx

@bobloblawlawblog @NewMumToBe2021 @Chloetipper I’m trying cyclizine this week, promethazine was amazing in my last pregnancy but isn’t doing it this time

JTB123 · 05/08/2020 17:25

@BatKat I am 6+4 also! Slightly tender boobs is really my only symptom so you're not alone x

DSP21 · 05/08/2020 17:37

@JTB123 @BatKat dw i'm with you on lack of symptoms. I keep poking my boobs to see if they still feel tender!

JTB123 · 05/08/2020 18:11

@DSP21 omg me too 🤣🤣🤣 at least twice daily!

DSP21 · 05/08/2020 18:15

@JTB123 every morning when i wake up! I know in a week or 2 we'll be back here complaining about feeling rubbish, but can't time just move a little more quickly?!!

bobloblawlawblog · 05/08/2020 18:59

Got the Promethezine so hopefully that will help

Oldermum80 · 05/08/2020 19:02

@DSP21 @JTB123 same here....although when I start thinking ‘do I feel sick?’ I dry heave. Think it’s all on my head though.
I am constantly squeezing and analysing my boobs by whipping them out every time I go for a wee (or lack of boobs rather, as I’m not very blessed!)...mine hurt down the sides and underneath but it’s more small lumps where the pain is.

DSP21 · 05/08/2020 19:06

@Oldermum80 I'm on the small side too and eagerly awaiting the growth spurt I'm so overdue!! Mine definitely hurts more on the sides and underneath

BatKat · 05/08/2020 19:18

@JTB123 @DSP21 @Oldermum80 aww I’m relieved to hear I’m not on my own. I’m sure give it a couple of weeks and we’ll be feeling completely different!!

DSP21 · 05/08/2020 19:29

@BatKat @Oldermum80 @JTB123 any of you guys had an early scan yet? Assuming we're all around 6+4

Clara9 · 05/08/2020 19:30

Tried on clothes that fitted about two weeks ago and my boobs won’t fit into my clothes anymore. Got a dress I love so much, but it looks ridiculous as my boobs are all squished in. Ffs!!

Aurora124 · 05/08/2020 19:38
@Sussexbysea hope everything goes well for
You.

How's everyone feeling? I'm 7+2 today and feel so tired today.
EmzG20 i'm 7+2 today also!!
I caved abd booked an early scan for next Monday. I'm petrified.

I am wondering what to do about my work, i'm currently on Furlough but there have been redundancies, maybe more. If I tell work would that help or hinder me being considered for redundancy.

Im think it could be a case of, oh well she eill be off at least 9 months we may as well get rid of her.

Or the government pay Mat Leave pay so could keep her on and hope work picks up when she returns and dont want to be seen as being discriminatory.

Oldermum80 · 05/08/2020 19:40

@BatKat I hope so. It would reassure me as I feel history is repeating itself as I was like this with my MMC. @DSP21 I haven’t. I was hoping I’d hear from the midwife and they might be able to sort something given my past history. I’ve looked at Private scans and they are all a couple of weeks away and at least a hours drive so thinking I should just stick it out. Part of me wants to know and another part is scared.

Oldermum80 · 05/08/2020 19:41

@Clara9 I can’t wait for those moments lol

Clara9 · 05/08/2020 19:49

@Oldermum80 I shouldn’t moan really, but I am really fussy with clothes in normal circumstances!

bumblingalonghappily · 05/08/2020 19:51

@BabySweet85 I'm sorry to hear that. I'm going to contact my head I think. The problem is that technically she could argue that I will be 1m away from others as I can just stay at the front of the classroom, but I can't see how that's going to work out in reality, especially in a room with the door and windows shut! And how are we supposed to avoid the kids down narrow corridors?

So please to hear of the recent positive scans some have had SmileSmile

JTB123 · 05/08/2020 19:55

@DSP21 no I've got one booked for 22nd should be around 9 weeks if my LMP dates work out right! But desperate for one NOWWW!!!

DSP21 · 05/08/2020 19:56

@JTB123 I had one this week and I'm already thinking, when can I book another to see progress! Although honestly I wish I hadn't booked one before 8 weeks as i'm just filled with anxiety now

Brightbirdie · 05/08/2020 20:33

@DSP21 not yet, I’ll will be but trying to leave it until at least 8 weeks, ideally closer to 10 but I’ll see how I get on

DSP21 · 05/08/2020 20:38

@Brightbirdie got idea! I need to go for a follow-up scan at 8+2 and counting down the seconds!

DSP21 · 05/08/2020 20:39

*good rather

Chloetipper · 05/08/2020 20:41

@NewMumToBe2021 @bobloblawlawblog cyclizine? Yay, 22nd March twins! X

LuHen · 05/08/2020 20:59

Hi all! Its great to pop back on here and see these lovely scan pictures.

To anyone who is having a tough time im sending a huge virtual hug to you, please be kind to yourselves and know you arent alone.

I had 3 days of pinkish spotting at 6 weeks and I was googling like crazy for days. I came to realise that really everyone is so individual and there is no way to find out if you are or aren't having problems. We decided to get a scan at 6 weeks 4 days and it really helped to curb my anxiety. Sometimes I wonder what it was like for our parents/ grand parents without all these early scans / checks and bloody Google!!! Haha. Simple times!

My boobs are so sore and I feel like I'm constantly hungover unless eating quavers... not good!
