This is a second thread of March 2021 babies. I’ll add people as I go xx

@Sh4mmy I’m so sorry. It’s just awful that they can’t confirm and you have to wait again. For me, I started looking at what I was going to ask for at my next scan but I knew my dates were definitely not wrong as I’d have had a positive before I was actually pregnant based on what they measured me. They didn’t actually tell me it was potentially a missed miscarriage though, they just said my dates were wrong. I found out from the community midwife so felt better that I had some honesty.
I just wanted it to be over but had to wait for the follow up. I was lucky that I ended up miscarrying the day of my scan and so I still attended as I needed intervention but I had planned to request a D and C as I just wanted to go to sleep and wake up and it be over with. I’m here if you need to talk.

@Sh4mmy I’m so sorry to hear this :( I’ve no advice and what you should do from now but please be kind to urself and do something over the weekend to help bring the days in and get ur mind of this xx

@Sh4mmy I'm so sorry. No advice (others here will be better placed to do that) but lots of love and a long distance hand-hold.

Sorry to hear this @Sh4mmy. I think in your heart of hearts you know the answer. It’s crap having to wait another week, I’m so sorry this is happening to you. Like pp have said do something to distract yourself, get a few good books if you like reading or get your head into a boxset and copious amounts of Ice cream/chocolate/comfort food of choice. ❤️

@DSP21 oh cute!! - only slightly tender boobs here, no other symptoms yet!! What about it you?

@BabySweet85 oh amazing congratulations! We were only trying for 4 weeks I can't believe how quickly it took..!!! Only tender boobs here! Xx

@JTB123 exactly the same, slightly tender boobs and nothing else. Have an early scan on Monday so that should be reassuring if all goes well

I’m due around 16th March and have received my dating scan...3rd September. Anyone else getting theirs done too?

Also, I’m booked in to speak with someone about my section I had with my daughter. My placenta came out like a puzzle and I lost a lot of blood and had it all pumped back into me. It’ll be good to understand what’s going to happen next time

Hi everyone. Scan went well today thankfully. Thought I was 7+4 but measuring at 6+6 so only 4/5 days out. Got to see the heartbeat but didn't get the chance to listen to it. Here's our little blip! 🥺

@DSP21 oh amazing, I've booked an early one for 9 weeks on the 22nd august! My midwife book apt is on the 10th x

Thank you....I'm heartbroken...and still in limbo!

It was a reassurance scan as I had a bit of bleeding a couple of weeks ago which I thought was implantation bleeding

Thank you! I'm heartbroken really, had the kids all day so been trying to old it together but all I want to do is cry and hide away!!

I know my dates aren't wrong and if they were they're definitely not 2 weeks out! I know it's gone and so do the midwife, consultant and sonographers (I had 2 today) but they're saying it's precautionary that they have to scan me again! I have the leaflets so at least when I go back next week I will know what I want to happen next! I don't think I will miscarry naturally and do I would rather be put to sleep and have it over and done with, I've had the medical intervention before and it was horrible, it's like you're on labour!!

Hi all, after some bleeding yesterday my GP referred me to EPU for a scan. All went well, they think it was maybe implantation. One little bean with a nice fluttering heartbeat measuring 6+1 rather than the 6+5 I thought.

@Zenianna I’m a teacher and I don’t think any changes will be made. I teach a year 1 class so I know social distancing won’t happen. It’ll be okay while the weather is nice and I can take them out and open all the windows but I’m very worried about the cold weather days that will inevitably come.

@Eppy123 oh that’s so good. It’s going to be a LONG 5 weeks until the scan. Have you had an early scan? I feel like I’m one of the only ones on this thread who hasn’t had one yet

Evening ladies - I’m hoping I can join you please. Firstly, I just wanted to say sorry to all of you who are having a tough time at the moment.

I got my BFP this morning at 5 weeks +6. Slightly nervous at the moment because I’m having no symptoms so far and I’m pretty sure I had quite strong sickness and sore boobs by this point with my daughter. I’m considering having a private scan at some point before the 12 week NHS scan. If anyone else is doing the same, how are you deciding at what point to have it?

I’m keen to join the Facebook group if everything is well at the 12 week point 🤞

@Sussexbysea yes I had one yesterday but only because I have very irregular cycles and I was confident with dates but the midwife was very concerned I was over 12 weeks based on LMP!

The date for my official booking scan is 3rd September which feels a long time away!

@Zenianna I’m a teacher too, but we haven’t been asked about pregnancy - advice is we wouldn’t need to shield unless we also have a heart condition so doesn’t seem relevant yet? I’ll be 11 weeks-ish when we’re back and I’m hoping not to tell anyone until after my scan. Not heard from midwife etc yet.
