@lookingatthings
I am so glad I'm not the only one! My mother-in-law (we're really close so she knows) thinks it's psychosomatic. I've been lucky with symptoms so far the only nausea has been from over indulging on my cravings; olives and garlic croutons! Bit of cramps, boob pain and thirst - fingers crossed it stays this way!

Clara9 · 28/07/2020 21:05

I was worried they were going off... back with a vegence today! @DSP21

bobloblawlawblog · 28/07/2020 21:08

Have just realised there's a new thread, hi guys. Sorry to those of you who have had bad news Thanks

I'm laid up in bed feeling like a terrible parent at the moment as my 3 year old has been at my mums since Sunday as I'm super weak, dizzy, feel sick constantly, tired out by the smallest thing. Doctors gave me iron tablets on Monday and I have bloods tomorrow, is probably anaemia as I had issues with that with my son and after (I had em c section and ended up having blood transfusions and all sorts of complications after.

Am going to ask about likelihood of elective section provided all goes ok with this pregnancy. Does anyone know much about requesting c section on nhs?

Connell1991 · 28/07/2020 21:37

Hi just wondering how I can get added to the Facebook group. Thanks 😊

lookingatthings · 28/07/2020 22:14

@Taylortyler I'm quite similar with symptoms: had some cramping but nothing notable, and my boobs are really tender. Nothing much else though.

@bobloblawlawblog that sounds awful. I hope you feel better soon.

@Connell1991 I messaged you.

Connell1991 · 28/07/2020 22:26

@lookingatthings thanks I've sent you a message

Sussexbysea · 29/07/2020 06:36

@bobloblawlawblog it was one of the first questions they asked me at my booking in appointment. I’ve said I’m undecided because I had a section previously due to a breach baby.

Morning all! Hope everyone is doing well today! I've got to go for more bloods today to check my hormone levels...get the results at 3....it's going to be a long day

LottieDot · 29/07/2020 07:53

@Sh4mmy good luck for today.

I got 3+ on a digital today (5w2d) so I'm going to be brave and ring the midwife!

I'm also wondering if I have the start of a UTI, sometimes I feel completely fine and other times like I have to wee so bad it hurts its really strange! I'm wondering if its being caused by my retroverted uterus pushing against my bladder.

Moonfox85 · 29/07/2020 08:04

Hi everyone,
My due date is 3rd of March 2021, just waiting eagerly for my telephone booking appointment. I've had major food aversion to everything and constant nausea for about 3 weeks. I had two lots of heavy-ish spotting at 5 weeks and 6 weeks and had scans both times, everything was okay but the the worrying and waiting was awful.

DSP21 · 29/07/2020 08:11

For those of you that self-referred to a midwife/hospital, how long did you have to wait before someone got in touch?
It's been over a week since I referred myself, but I'm only 5+4 so I know it's early

Babafarmer · 29/07/2020 08:12

@Sh4mmy good luck today. Hoping for a good positive HCH rise for you xxx

Belle1983 · 29/07/2020 08:31

Hi @DSP21
I self referred on a Monday, had my booking appointment and scan dates within a week.
I called them as soon as I got my BFP, but appt is 14th Aug and 9th Sept.x

Sussexbysea · 29/07/2020 09:11

@Sh4mmy thinking of you today lovely xx

I hope all goes well @Sh4mmy

Oldermum80 · 29/07/2020 09:28

Called my EPU and they aren’t doing early reassurance scans. Sad I don’t know whether to just wait and hope or to book one privately. I made it to 9 weeks with my last miscarriage but found out at 7 weeks that it wasn’t developing, but if I have one and it reassures me, things could still go wrong in between times.

GreysLove · 29/07/2020 09:36

Hope all with early scans and tests get good news ♥️

I'm 5+5 today still sore boobs and seem to have a low energy day then better energy day, same with good n bad sleep.

My booking app isn't until 27 aug n scan 14 sept. But I called my health board directly to get those appointments, not through the GP. Should you still see your GP at this stage? This is my first and it seems mad that you don't see anyone for such a long time.

It's already getting hard to hide my mum is literally a detective, at dinner last night - "you're boobs look bigger" lol said it was my time of the month...

Have thought about a private early scan, but the thought of getting bad news from folk that aren't my medical professionals is scary...

aureliacecilia · 29/07/2020 09:54

I'm having symptoms of what I think could be low blood pressure but I haven't got a monitor to check. Anyone else experiencing similar?

Sh4mmy · 29/07/2020 10:06

@Oldermum80 hey, is this just for reassurance?? Or do you think something might be wrong? If it will put your mind at ease maybe book a private scan x

Sh4mmy · 29/07/2020 10:07

Thanks to everyone who's wished me well....I'll keep you posted

Boredinthehouse12 · 29/07/2020 10:10

For those who have had an early scan was is it abdominal or internal? If abdominal how much water did you drink beforehand?

I have mine in a few hours and while I’m not expecting to receive the news we were hoping for (all symptoms have vanished for over a week and I caught some sort of infection) I’m still hoping to avoid an internal scan.

Rainbow1808 · 29/07/2020 10:13

@Sh4mmy all the best for today! X

@Boredinthehouse12 I had one at 7+3, it was abdominal. They told me to drink 2 pints of water 1 hour before my appointment. I did so, but omg my stomach wasn’t half hurting with how much I needed to wee! It was heaven when they let me go to the toilet after😁

Rainbow1808 · 29/07/2020 10:15

@Boredinthehouse12 forgot to add, hope everything goes ok x

Boredinthehouse12 · 29/07/2020 10:16

@Rainbow1808 2 pints! I can only imagine the relief at the end! I don’t think lll be able to stomach that. I think I’m just going to drink as much as I can and hope for the best

Boredinthehouse12 · 29/07/2020 10:18

@rainbow1808 Thank you, it’s just a ‘hope for the best, expect the worst’ type of situation. Whatever will be, will be!
