EmilyG2020 · 16/07/2020 22:02

Asha88 can I join the group please

Leasha16 · 16/07/2020 23:26

Ladies if we join the Facebook group will our friends be able to see it? I don't want anyone knowing until I'm 12 weeks

Slat3 · 17/07/2020 05:49

@Leasha16 no, it’s private and only members can find it, so that’s why you’ll need to add her to be added instead of clicking a link x

@Slat3 thanks!

Period due date today. Usually have a day of spotting before but had nothing yesterday. Tests this morning are looking positive. Definitely progressing compared to last time when I had a chemical. Fingers crossed it keeps going in this direction!

(Frer top 2 days ago, other one this morning) x

I am so scared my lines aren't really progressing they're just staying the same maybe maybe maybe the tiniest bit darker/clearer! Should I be worried ??

Clear blue digital yesterday evening said pregnant.

I am maybe 13dpo today and Ovia predicts AF due tomorrow but my cycle lengths vary

LilNona14 · 17/07/2020 09:31

@Bl0ndi3
Unfortunately I don't have any words of wisdom, but will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!! X

Bl0ndi3 · 17/07/2020 09:38

@LilNona14 thank you lovely! I am trying to tell myself to just relax because I've taken enough tests now to know that I am pregnant, worrying won't change anything. I'll keep testing for the next few days I think and just try not to worry so much.

helia · 17/07/2020 09:38

I think this is one of the challenges of testing early @Bl0ndi3! Are you able to give it a couple of days and test again? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Leasha16 · 17/07/2020 09:39

@Bl0ndi3 I have been through that before. It is an awful waiting game and I totally understand how you feel. My only advice would be to compare the lines from 2 days ago as HCG takes 48hours to really increase and make sure you're comparing the same concentration (e.g FMU). Then all you can do is wait. Sending you all the love and luck, hopefully your period is a no show and lines get darker.

I must say with my chemical, my lines never really progressed just stayed the same and then I started bleeding. So the fact they are getting progressively darker is positive!

Bl0ndi3 · 17/07/2020 09:40

@helia I know and normally I don't test early after learning the hard way early on in TTC but something made me test at 11dpo (I thought I was 12dpo not that it makes any difference haha) and sure enough there was a decent line, not a squinted but it's been the same ever since really!

mrsawhite · 17/07/2020 10:07

Can I join. Found out yesterday and think about 5 weeks. Feel really overwhelmed about it all. Even though we've been trying for well over a year. Spent this morning worrying about either something going wrong. Then about giving birth. Then how I will cope when DH is at work and I have 2 manic dogs and a baby. Also house needs renovated a bit before it arrives. Eugh. And I feel so sick!

Sdoo4 · 17/07/2020 10:10

Morning all!
Hoping I can join in. 17dpo for me today, been feeling a bit nauseous and no sign of AF but was too scared to test. Done some this morning and got my BFP!! Don’t know what to do with myself now!

Girls this is the link to my Facebook profile so I can add you to the group. The group is completely secret no one keeps your in it or what you post so dont worry about that.
I find Facebook easier to communicate through than these forums.
Im hoping there will be about 30 of us and then i won't add anyone else to the group so we have a nice little community going.
Add me as a friend and then I will add you to the group and unfriend you.

@Asha88 done! X

Bl0ndi3 · 17/07/2020 14:09

@mrsawhite you know in your heart that you wil be absolutely fine and deal with anything that comes your way so just relax and enjoy it!

I have felt the same I've been worrying about it being a CP so just spent a fortune on tests to give me peace of mind over next week and then even been thinking how small our hallway is and worrying how will we get a pram through, where will we store the pram etc 😂😂 irrational I know 😂

We are pregnant! I dunno about you but I have wanted this for so so so long and it's finally happened I am choosing to be happy about that now after worrying for the last few days 🥰

helia · 17/07/2020 14:51

@Sdoo4 @mrsawhite Welcome!

I'll send you a message about joining the group soon @Asha88. I'm still in the "I can't believe it!" phase which I think is alright as I only found out on Wednesday. We are so very lucky - please don't take this the wrong way as I know what a fortunate position we are in - but we conceived our first month of trying and I just haven't got my head around it completely yet!

Asha88 · 17/07/2020 14:55

For any of the ladies asking to join just click on the link in my above post and add me as a friend and I'll put you into the group. No rush for any of you im rubbish with threads so don't know how to tag anyone 😅

NotThatKindOfDoctor · 17/07/2020 15:03

Hi ladies, and congratulations to everyone!

I’m think I’ll be 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow with our 4th (others are 11, 9 and 6). We live in France now so it’ll be the first time I’ve had a baby here which makes me a little nervous. I have my first gyny appointment on Tuesday (all my scans etc are with the gyny here because I’m 37).

I’m in a similar boat @helia in that I didn’t shift all the extra weight from my last pregnancy and so am a little more thickums than I know I should be. I’m just keeping a close eye on everything I eat (most of the time Blush) and trying to walk at least 3 miles everyday. I definitely want to make sure I’m not making life impossibly hard for myself after the baby comes, and just reminding myself of that when I’m tempted to succumb! I used to run a lot but even though I know it’s safe, I’m scared of miscarrying having had one before.

helia · 17/07/2020 15:24

Congratulations @NotThatKindOfDoctor! How exciting to be having your 4th child. So sorry to hear about your miscarriage too.

My aim is to try to maintain my weight so that when I'm weighed by my midwife I'm not any heavier than I am now. I think I'll probably lose a little just by cutting out the crisps and chocolate but beyond watching my snacks I'm not going to do anything differently. I should walk a bit more but I'm finding it harder now I'm working from home.

I'm expecting to see a consultant this time due to my previous c-section and a late preterm birth (five weeks early) but I'm not sure if that's a given.

Boo2020 · 18/07/2020 10:41

Hi @asha88 ice just messaged you to be added to the private group on fb 😊

mrsawhite · 18/07/2020 14:21

@Bl0ndi3 it's still a huge shock even though we have been trying for so long! Feel ok today. Sickness has disappeared. Now starving all the time. I keep looking at things and thinking. How do you baby proof that? We have 2 lunatic dogs also and I've no idea how that will work!

bubblybon20 · 18/07/2020 14:45

Any one around 7 weeks experiencing a dull ache on one side?
