Hi all!

I’ve just found out I’m 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby! I have PCOS and this is a complete surprise! My due date is saying 4th March! Anyone else in March?

Hi ladies. My 1st post.
I'm 6 weeks pregnant, I believe.
My due date says 6th March.
However I've had a fresh bleed today, so feeling a little anxious. I'm a mother of 2 already, 11 and 8. I'm going to be 40 next Jan & over weight.
So needless to say I don't have much in the way of hope for me right now. (sorry for the woes me post) I just needed to write something to someone.

I also have 2 children, age 6 and one nearly 5!
Bleeds don't necessarily mean anything bad, just keep an eye on it! Do you plan on having an early scan at all? I never had one with either of my sons. But feeling like I may this time round, for my own peace of mind! X

I was planning to have a gender reveal, I have two daughters and knowing ahead of the game would be helpful.
I may have also lost my job. Its been temporarily put on hold, until the business picks up again. (I work for a food catering / delivery company. So bars, restaurants, hotels, you get the picture, so money is now tight)
Again another woes me thing. Lol.
I can just hope for the best.

Hi all. Pregnant with my first. Online calculators say I'm due 11th March (based on a 26 day cycle). My last period started on 6th June. Does that mean today I am 5+3? (Eg 5+3 since 6th June?)

I got my BFP on 2nd July (3+5 if that's how you work it out!)

Have I used the correct online calculator?

Congratulations all! I’ve just found out I’m pregnancy with #3 I’m in shock!
I ovulated around CD 23 so i don’t know how many weeks I will be because my last period was 10th June! But there’s obviously no way I’m ‘that’ pregnant.
I’ve referred myself online to the hospital and I need to phone the GP to ask for high dose folic acid as my BMI is over 30
Going to try and be healthy and maintain/lose some weight this pregnancy.
It’s only early so trying not to get my hopes up too much but still daydreaming about the baby... eek!

So good news! I saw a heartbeat today! 🥰 Couldn’t quite see the baby but I am going back next week to hopefully see more. Heart rate measuring well and everything looked good from what she could see.. happy 😇

@user1492848984 glad your scan went well. How many weeks were you when you went? I know you are supposed to hear a heartbeat from 6 weeks, but I've also heard that you sometimes can't, and you won't know if it's because there is something wrong, or just too early and the only thing you can do is have a horrible wait until you choose to scan again.

I'm thinking of getting one at 8 weeks. What are people's thoughts?

Hi @kittenpeak I've booked in to get a scan done at 6 weeks, that will be on the 25th of this month, it just gives that piece of mind, yes it can be too early for a heart beat but it shouldn't make people worry to much ..

Did all of you ladies continue to test during the first couple of weeks? My AF is due tomorrow/Fri and after having a chemical before with no line progression I can't help but test daily to check it's getting stronger!

Congratulations, everyone! I had a positive test this morning, the day before my period is due. I think that makes me 3w6d with an estimated due date of 25 March.

@Leasha16 I've been testing every week. I'm convinced embryo is going to disappear x

@Maple1990 I think I'll be the same. I'm testing daily on IC's. Got a darker line this morning which is positive, last time it never really got darker. I want to see the line be as dark as the control line before I can relax. Period is due in the next couple of days and I'm convincing myself it's on it's way. God this whole TTC process is an absolute mindf**k!

@Leasha16 I've been testing too since I got my BFP 🙈 i think I'm about 4-5 weeks, just made my appointment with the midwife, well shes going to he ringing this week to book one! I've got a private scan booked at 6 weeks x

@Boo2020 scary isn't it 😩. How did you go about booking in with the midwife? I have no idea about all that stuff. Taking it day by day and if my period doesn't show I'll call up next week when I'm 4-5 weeks x

@leasha16 just call up your gp surgery and tell them how many weeks your are and that you want to book an appointment! They referred me too a community midwife number (not sure if this is a new thing) but with my ds who is 11 years old now i just went my medical centre for my first appointment x

@kittenpeak I had an early scan with both my previous pregnancies too so tempted! Don’t know if to book for 6 or 8 weeks though. I’m a bit tubby round the stomach so wouldn’t want a transvaginal one

I'm 6 weeks with my second.
My story is quite long. TTC for 4 years, then had DS via IVF who is now 6yrs.
Since he was born we have had 3 failed IVF cycles and 1 miscarriage.
Very nervous due to the very traumatic miscarriage and also concerned about potential large age gap with DS.
Booked for an early scan at 7 weeks next week. Fingers crossed and congratulations to all

Just realised I didn't clarify this pregnancy is also via IVF, had one cycle just as lockdown started which failed then this one in June which for now has stuck

Hi @DreamMeOffMyFeet congratulations!! I wouldn't say that was a big age gap at all, my ds is 11 🙈 you can't help circumstances..

Hope your scan goes well...try not to worry to much (I know it's easily said then done) x

According to the scan I’m Around 6 weeks I thought I was 6 weeks 5 days yesterday but measuring behind slightly which is normal as I’m measuring from my LMP. I caught with my daughter 2 days after my period lol. Congrats to everyone BFPs tho! Anyone having symptoms? Mine aren’t as bad as my previous pregnancy with my daughter I was throwing up constantly and lost so much weight, but all I have are really sore boobs, really tired and waves of nausea.
