Hi all!

I’ve just found out I’m 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby! I have PCOS and this is a complete surprise! My due date is saying 4th March! Anyone else in March?

I had some spotting on 13th and got a positive test yesterday. I'm feeling pretty cautious too but the line is as clear as day so I hope it's all OK. It is such a worrying time!

@helia I'm Planning on following the pregnancy version of slimming world whilst pregnant best that I can because I am overweight too (bmi 28) and have managed to lose some weight before falling pregnant 🤞🏻 but not enough! I am scared of gaining loads of weight whilst pregnant so want to manage it safely xx

My BMI is 33 so really hoping to not gain weight if possible and be really conscious of what I eat! I really struggle with food & I've started feeling sick (I’m only 4 weeks?!) but not sure if it’s psychological. Fingers crossed I can manage it & not go mad like the last two times (first pregnancy I gained loadsss & not properly lost it yet 5 years later )

I'm keeping an eye on my weight, hoping to keep to a minimal/acceptable gain. X

Hi all, I am 7 weeks and 1 day pregnant With my first so this is all really new to me due date 4th March. Been feeling nausea for the last 2 weeks but yesterday and today it seems to have gone, also have really sore swollen boobs and some tummy aches pulls and twinges. I’ve gone off all the food I loved before and tea & coffee.
When do most people tell their employers? Waiting for my 12 week scan seems forever away I just want to tell everyone I’m pregnant!
I don’t think my partner will be able to go to the first scan due to Covid19, absolutely gutted, don’t know why he can’t just wear a mask? If I had a private scan would he be able to go?

Private scans they can go depending on the company but the one I went to aloud my husband in!

@Sbej325 I told my employer after my scan - around 13 weeks - with my first pregnancy. I didn't tell colleagues more widely until after my 20 week scan. I had a couple of weeks holiday and told them after that (it was hard to hide it by that point, as I had started showing). I had my son reasonably young (I was 27) and early in my career so I wanted just to keep my head down and not have anyone treat me differently. I'm in my 30s now and much more relaxed so I might tell colleagues sooner this time. However, I liked waiting until after my 20 week scan as I was fairly confident by that point all was well.

I have looked on line. I'm in Southampton. There is one here called YayBaby, that says you can bring one person in. X

Spoke to my midwife today and apparently restrictions in hospitals are being eased and partners may be allowed in towards the end of the scan, fingers crossed

Also, is it just for people off this thread? I don't think I've got it in me to keep up with hundreds of others...! I was in a FB group with MN users when I had DS and it was really nice. There were about fifty of us. I am afraid I'm only really interested in joining a private, small-ish group like that!

Anyone lost their appetite? Wondering if it’s because I’m a chubster and know I need to lose weight (or not gain it!). Felt sicky since I found out but not before so to me that’s psychological!

I've kinda lost my appetite, I eat because I know I need too. But there are days where I'd happily not eat.

Hi all can I join the group. Found out today I'm pregnant with number 2. By my calculations I'm 4 weeks pregnant. Trying to relax and not think to much into it but I had a miscarriage in February.

Can I join? Due march 28th with DC2. Have DC1 who is 16m.
