Hi guys! Just found out were expecting. Very early but have no one else I can compare symptoms or questions with. Also thought it would be nice to follow pregnancies together. Expected due date should be the middle of March!

@BabySweet85 oh I see. It's understandable to be worried but by Sept you'll be passed the first trimester so that will be better as your baby will be much stronger. The issue is when we're pregnant our immune system is weaker so we may feel worse if we got Covid but that's not going to happen to everyone. And they've said there's no risk to the baby so try not to worry. The numbers are also going down so fingers crossed by Sept things will be even better!

@Purley I'm trying to hold off telling anyone until I've had the 12 week scan but I know that'll be hard. I've got a scan tomorrow so I hope I'll find out how far I am. I just don't want to tell my family and then something goes wrong... Its hard though as it'll be my husband's birthday at the end of the month and we'll have a family BBQ so I need to think of an excuse of why I'm not drinking...Blush

My urine seems brighter than usual. It's always quite bright on a morning as I take a pregnacare vitamin after dinner but it's seems to be all/most of the time since my positive test. Are any of you experiencing similar and is it linked to pregnancy do you know? I'm over analysing everything and must try stop 😬 easier said than done

Nmvasey · 09/07/2020 16:09

Thanks @Sussexbysea that's helpful to know

Nmvasey · 09/07/2020 16:10

And I'm sorry that you had to experience that 😞

Rainbow1808 · 09/07/2020 16:12

@Nmvasey I started bleeding 11 days after my first positive. I noticed my tests never really went dark and then they started going lighter and lighter then the bleeding started

Sussexbysea · 09/07/2020 16:13

@Nmvasey thank you. But since then I’ve had a child and I’m now pregnant again. Life is good

Sakura54 · 09/07/2020 16:36

For those of you with cramping, this is my 3rd pregnancy (1 DC and 1 MMC) and I get bad cramps for about 3 weeks. I also get woken up by the pain sometimes. It’s normal.

Also symptoms or not, it doesn’t mean anything in terms of whether the pregnancy will be successful. I get ALL the symptoms and it’s horrible, so would rather have none!

@Nmvasey If you have a CP, the bleeding usually starts when AF is due or up to 2 weeks after so unless you test, you wouldn’t have known you were pregnant.

Hi all, I'm due in March after having ivf. This is my 2nd pregnancy but first one ended in MC in April. Have had brown spotting since before my bfp, had hcg levels done a week ago and came back high but I have low progesterone so on all the progesterone possible! Still spotting brown so pretty concerned about scan next week (at 6 and half weeks). Keeping fingers crossed this one stays around this time! But very nervous given my history! Hoping everyone has a smooth ride! X

Annu786 · 09/07/2020 16:51

Hi I’m just over 5weeks pregnant
I had brown discharge mon-wed on and off nothing heavy just when I wipe
My swabs came back that I had a vaginal thrush (I had no symptoms)
Doctor prescribed me a pill to insert inside me I did that yesterday and it’s been over 24hours and Iv had no brown discharge !!
I was very worried thought I was miscarrying on Monday but I had plenty of people reassure me on her so I’d like to do the same for you.
Speak to the midwife / doctor and rule out thrush
Good luck

Annu786 · 09/07/2020 16:54

My urine is also very yellow and when I googled it came me some scientific reason Why it happens in Pregnancy nothing to worry about but keep hydrated 😊

Chrissayeth · 09/07/2020 17:43

Hey guys! 8 weeks today, according to my Flo app due 3rd March. Been getting terrible nausea, fatigue and nipples on fire atm 😂 today however my morning sickness hasn't been so bad and only mild in the morning and none in the evening. Usually it hits back with vengeance in the evening every day since 6 weeks but not today, slightly worried as I feel I should be feeling it. Though nipples are still hurting and flare up every now and then so not all symptoms completely gone. I'm 32 and preparing to be a FTM so I'm extremely anxious!

JASPERVV · 09/07/2020 18:17

Hi all, hope you’re all OK. I’m 6+4 and having quite sharp pains on one side. Really gasp worthy shooting pains, they seem to be there one day and not the next. Has anyone else had this? I had a scan 2 weeks ago and all fine (previous MC) and have another one to check for heartbeat tomorrow but trying to gear myself for possible bad news, esp given the pains. Be good to know if anyone else is feeling them? X

Cwhw · 09/07/2020 18:29

@jaspervv I had terrible trapped wind and indigestion in my first pregnancy and that causes thoose sort of pains. I'd recommend a peppermint tea. Especially as you've had a scan so they've ruled out ectopic pregnancy. Hopefully that eases it. Good luck for your scan tomorrow.

My clinc has just said they'll do another blood test tomorrow to check my progesterone has increased and to see if my hcg is where it should be again so at least I'll know before the weekend if this bleeding is set to turn into the worst!

JASPERVV · 09/07/2020 18:35

I really hope that’s what it is or stretching pains maybe. I’m on additional progesterone too. Hope you get good news. The worrying and waiting is endless!! We try to get pregnant for ages, we worry about that, and then when we get a BFP we worry again! X

Smilingdonkey · 09/07/2020 18:53

Hi! And hi again to those from the MMC threads!
I am due 9th March (NHS say 5th but I'm sure it's later) This will be my 3rd pregnancy, 2nd child. I have a DD who is nearly 21 months.
Quite anxious but trying to keep positive!
Xxxx

MeggoBoots · 09/07/2020 18:53

Hi everyone!

I just recently found out I am pregnant with our first. According to the NHS calculator should be due 6 March 2021. Can't quite believe it, I've always suffered with PCOS and so was convinced that having my own baby was in lifes plan for me. Was literally reading adoption information and then took a test that afternoon on the off chance as had missed a (very irregular) period...and here I am! xx

Sussexbysea · 09/07/2020 19:54

For people getting scans done.... is this because you are receiving fertility treatment or are you having them done privately? I ask because my local hospital won’t do them unless you are bleeding and been referred by the GP.

Lozzy5859 · 09/07/2020 19:56

@BabySweet85
Ohh gawd you poor thing. stinky lol. I will take all the symptoms lol, so happy.
I am yet to tell my partner as want to make it a great suprise. Will tell him tonight he will be over the moon . We have both been so flat out with work. Slept really well last night. My cat snuggled into my belly. It is winter in Aussie or maybe he knows?? Lol.
Going to make an appointment with the Dr for tomorrow?
I have been taking pre-conception blackmores vit caps, will change to pregnancy.
X

bubblybon20 · 09/07/2020 20:02

What are everyone's current symptoms? As how many weeks :-)

bobloblawlawblog · 09/07/2020 20:03

Hi all, can I join?

According to the NHS site I am due 20th March. Got positive tests yesterday, have had a phone appointment with doc today and have had midwife referral sent over so is all suddenly starting to feel real!

bobloblawlawblog · 09/07/2020 20:04

Bubbly currently just faint nausea and not fancying particular foods really. Am also starting to get pregnancy nose as the smell of the meat aisle in the supermarket today nearly made me gag!

Rainbow1808 · 09/07/2020 20:09

@bubblybon20 I’m 5+5. I’m always tired and I can smell everything so strongly! I feel sick every now and then, it’s not too bad but I’ve rarely got an appetite. Food isn’t appealing to me at the minute! Boobs feel like they’re on fire and nipples are constantly hard😁

Lozzy5859 · 09/07/2020 20:11

Hey 💗
Congratulations. We are nearly due date buddies, I am due 21st, according to online calculator. It's #1 for me, have known for for 2 days now. Telling my DH this eve. Wanted to make it special. Will buy some mini Timberlands and make a nice meal.
I am calling the Dr today, it's not as strict in Aussie, so will prob go in person. Any symptoms?
I have a full feeling in belly and on and off twinge, sore bbs around the edges and feeling very High atm haha

bubblybon20 · 09/07/2020 20:26

@Rainbow1808 I'm 5+4 quite similar to mine! I am really tired even having power naps in the day 🤦🏻‍♀️ also off food, and waves of feeling sick, and really watery mouth 😨 although my boobs have stopped hurting 😣

bubblybon20 · 09/07/2020 20:27

@bobloblawlawblog yessss, certain things keep triggering me to feel worse 😫😂
