Hi guys! Just found out were expecting. Very early but have no one else I can compare symptoms or questions with. Also thought it would be nice to follow pregnancies together. Expected due date should be the middle of March!

@2020wish you might, but lack thereof isn't necessarily a problem yet.

aureliacecilia · 23/07/2020 14:54

My LMP was 18 June (28 day cycles) and I'm five weeks today @2020wish.

Headingtowardsforty · 23/07/2020 14:55

So, I have spoken to midwife at hospital you has said all very common and nothing to worry about so long as it's not red and I don't have cramps.

Also my booking in appointment is booked for 3rd August. Yay!

RosettaR · 23/07/2020 15:04

Can I join your thread? Found out this morning I'm pregnant following IVF, online calculators tell me my due date is 30 March. This is my first BFP so it's all totally new and doesn't feel real, part of me is still wondering whether I read the test right!

@ValidUser I remember you from a ttc thread, so glad to see you here too, and just one day ahead of me. Congratulations!

I do have symptoms but I think they are OHSS from the IVF rather than pregnancy. Mainly my stomach is gigantic, I look about 4 months not 4 weeks. My clinic have asked me to measure it every day and report to them, this is so glamorous already!

ValidUser · 23/07/2020 15:21

@RosettaR I remember you! I'm due the day before you with an IVF baby too. Congratulations and lovely to see you x

Birnam · 23/07/2020 15:25

Hello everyone! I've had major heartburn for days now but apart from that, no symptoms to speak of. I just had BFP this afternoon - I'm around 9 DPO. I think! Anyone else really nervous as it's so early though? I am! I'm waiting to trust it in a week or so, will do another test then. First month TTC so a little shocked...

ArtemisBean · 23/07/2020 15:56

waves to fellow newbies So nice to see so many March babies! Who is due first? With DS my due date was brought forward five days after my dating scan, but then he was five days late so basically arrived on the exact day I originally said he would!

DSP21 · 23/07/2020 16:17

Anyone else feel/look super pregnant already?
The bloat is real Blush

Kristy17 · 23/07/2020 16:20

It really is @ArtemisBean mine changed after my dating scan with my first two and then she arrived 3 days late anyway haha.

I’ll be one of the last - due 31st. But I reckon it could be amended to the beginning of April based on the date I ovulated.

StarEclipse · 23/07/2020 16:31

Hi! Please can I join?

Just taken a test today and it came back positive! So shocked that I went straight out and got a digital test that confirmed it.

Online calculators say I am due 26th March.

Massive shock as this is a VERY accidental baby #4 following IVF for baby #3 two years ago Blush

My eldest two are from a previous relationship.

Oh and I am only 30!

So feeling shocked. Weird. Nauseous. Grin

ValidUser · 23/07/2020 16:34

Congratulations @StarEclipse!

@DSP21 I'm bloated. Been admiring my faux bump in the mirror. 😂

aureliacecilia · 23/07/2020 16:38

Congratulations, @StarEclipse! I'm due the day before you (25 March) but the Internet suggests I have a 10 to 15 per cent chance of having another premature baby (usually the risk is about 7 per cent) - my first pregnancy lasted 35 weeks - so I'm preparing myself for a February baby. I'm hoping to make it to full term this time though. I would really like to avoid a neonatal admission or prolonged hospital stay. I'm 31.

StarEclipse · 23/07/2020 16:43

Thank you!

@aureliacecilia
Fingers crossed for a full term baby for you! I hope everything goes well Flowers

DSP21 · 23/07/2020 16:43

@ValidUser Grin haha me too! Oh how I want these early weeks to pass, the anxiety is sky high right now, as is the urge to keep peeing on sticks!

aureliacecilia · 23/07/2020 16:54

Thank you, @StarEclipse - you too! I most definitely not be complaining if I go overdue either! How old are your DCs?

StarEclipse · 23/07/2020 17:02

@aureliacecilia
They are 14, 10 and almost 2!
Wasn't expecting to start all over again, thought our IVF baby was a miracle and completed our family 🙈

I am sure once I wrap my head around it I will be over the moon Grin

Hannah1818 · 23/07/2020 17:40

Hi all! I have been reading this thread for a while but this is my first post. My due date has been calculated as 12th March and this will be my first baby.

Any advice on this please - I’m not sure on the due date, because I had a period or what I think is a period 2 and 1/2 weeks after my previous one and this one was lighter and only lasted four days rather than my usual five. I had recently come off the pill and I assumed that’s why I had two periods so close to each other, so maybe my body adjusting? Or maybe an implantation bleed? As I could be 3-4 weeks earlier conceiving than I’ve currently calculated but I’m unsure! Anybody had experience of this? Thank you :)

Clara9 · 23/07/2020 18:07

@DSP21 I’m the same! Trying to stop myself from doing each morning. I think I’m trying to get my head around the fact that it’s real/ checking for a chemical pregnancy, but I don’t know when I would stop and feeling better. One of the lovely ladies on here told me that hcg levels can drop around 6 weeks, so going to leave it soon as I’m 5+1 and won’t want to worry myself unnecessarily!

DSP21 · 23/07/2020 18:20

@Clara9 yes me too! I'm worried every time I pee that I might start bleeding, or every time I feel a twinge that AF might show her head. I've read far too many stories for my own good and now I'm so paranoid!

That's good to know levels drop at 6 weeks and so glad you told me or I'd have probably been freaking out! I'm only 4 +5 atm and feel no different to normal

Clara9 · 23/07/2020 20:46

@ DSP21 I totally get it and here if you ever need to talk about it as I’m exactly the same. So much is out of our hands. I’m listening to the book in the pic and it’s really helping me with my mindset!

Really anxious today. Don’t feel I have any symptoms and those I did have have gone. I had really bad sickness with my daughter (although 15 years ago and different dad) but so worried I am going to miscarry again. Know there’s nothing I can do but doesn’t stop me worrying. Thought my boobs were swollen, now they look normal. The mild sickly feeling has gone but seem to have loads of saliva and no longer need to nap during the day. Hoping this is all normal and it works out.

LottieX · 23/07/2020 21:19

@Headingtowardsforty I had spotting at 5+4, super light brown and only a small amount which only showed when wiping for an afternoon. You're comments reassured me as I was camping at the time with none of my checking gadgets with me! Came home yesterday and a super dark IC so happy!! I get to call the midwife tomorrow too!

bumblingalonghappily · 23/07/2020 21:28

@Headingtowardsforty

Ah that's great to hear- I'm so pleased 😊 and exciting about your booking in!

My scan at the epu isn't until Monday now but I'm actually pleased as I think there's a higher chance they'll actually (hopefully) see something then and will be (hopefully) more reassuring.

I also spoke to my mum and she said she didn't have spotting with me or my sister but did with my younger brother (her youngest dc)- so that's reassured me too, and hopefully will reassure you a bit as well!

bumblingalonghappily · 23/07/2020 21:32

@Oldermum80

It's so tough isn't it. I think a lot of us get so anxious when symptom spotting, but it's impossible not to! I've been paranoid in this pregnancy so far as my boobs haven't hurt a single bit but I was in agony with them with DC1.

Would booking an early private scan help reassure your do you think? I had two last time even before my twelve week scan 🙈

Oldermum80 · 23/07/2020 21:38

@bumblingalonghappily yeh I had an early one with my last pregnancy where I found out it was a missed miscarriage. I haven’t booked anything yet as I’m only 5 weeks tomorrow. Hoping I get to 6 then it’s not a long wait for a scan as they saw me at 7 weeks last time.
