Hi guys! Just found out were expecting. Very early but have no one else I can compare symptoms or questions with. Also thought it would be nice to follow pregnancies together. Expected due date should be the middle of March!

Hi, cautiously joining too. Pregnant with number 2 with the NHS calculator saying due date would be the 31st March. Number 1 was induced a few days before his due date due to me having GD and him showing big (though I don't think this was related to the GD, I think he was just big). As such, assuming end March all things being well.
No particular symptoms so far, bar one dizzy spell, though nipples are sore. Think that's more likely due to DS being a boob monster the last week or so.

Hi all👋

It’s such a strange time early pregnancy isn’t it!!

I’m working from home but have a crampy tummy today. Going to take an early lunch and do some exercise to stretch myself out!

2020wish · 23/07/2020 11:12

@Jebbs due date twins!!! When did u find out?

disneyhopeful17 · 23/07/2020 11:59

Can I join too? Just got our BFP yesterday after almost 3 years of TTC. I am still so shocked and it doesn't feel real. I know it is still very early yet and the only person I have told other than DH is my mum. Due date calculator says 27th March.

Sussexbysea · 23/07/2020 12:10

The baby show in London and Birmingham are happening this year. I’ll be going to try out some Prams. I have nothing local and really like to look at it physically first

TravelGem · 23/07/2020 12:20

May I also join?

Got my positive on Monday and I'm due the 29th. This is my first pregnancy (at 30) and I'm suffering from bloating and reflux... otherwise no other symptoms 😊

ValidUser · 23/07/2020 12:34

@TravelGem same due date as me! Also 30. Congratulations!

Headingtowardsforty · 23/07/2020 12:35

@Sussexbysea I'm tempted to go to the London one as well. I don't actually need anything, but I went 11 years ago when I was pregnant with a friend who'd just had her baby and we got loads of freebies.

Sussexbysea · 23/07/2020 12:39

It’s got to be worth it just for the freebies 🙌🏻

Jebbs · 23/07/2020 12:39

@2020wish yesterday so all very new. What about you?

TravelGem · 23/07/2020 12:44

Oh fabulous!!! Twinning all over 😂

Are you having any weird and wonderful symptoms? Have you contacted the midwife yet?

Headingtowardsforty · 23/07/2020 12:47

Oh crap, I think I might have started spotting. Tmi, but it looks like there's brown on my knickers, but nothing when I wipe. I've put a pad on to see if anything comes from it.

RaaRaaaa · 23/07/2020 12:57

Try not to panic about spotting. It’s really common at this stage. If it turns red and is with cramps then I would call epu. Easier said than done not to panic I know!

Headingtowardsforty · 23/07/2020 13:00

@RaaRaaaa thanks, I can't tell if my stomach is crampy or not. I haven't had lunch, but I'm hungry and I never spotted with my son, so all new

Kristy17 · 23/07/2020 13:03

Hello everyone, congratulations to you all. I haven’t read all the posts but I’ve just got my BFP 12DPO, looks like I’ll be due the last day of March so cutting it fine being here haha. How are you all feeling?

Kristy17 · 23/07/2020 13:04

Oh and this will be my second, I have a 20 month old daughter 😊

ValidUser · 23/07/2020 13:09

@TravelGem we did ivf, so no, but I will have 6 and 8 week scans with the clinic!

6 week mainly to check how many are in there, 8 week for a heartbeat. 🤞🤞🤞

Clara9 · 23/07/2020 13:16

My dog is always trying to get close to me these days, so think she may know.

Sorry if this is TMI, but a couple of days ago I was freaking out as I had a grumbling pain lower down. Spoke to the doctor about it and apparently it’s thrush. Wouldn’t have even thought about it, as not itchy, but uncomfortable and period like pain. Apparent when it’s ‘up there’ that’s how it is. Had to have a different dose of the meds as pregnant, but two days in and all my worrying grumbles have stopped. Think I saw a couple of other people worried so thought I’d (over!) share!

ValidUser · 23/07/2020 13:18

@Clara9 no such thing as an overshare. Important to discuss these things! Thank you

ValidUser · 23/07/2020 13:18

Also love that your dog seems to know

bumblingalonghappily · 23/07/2020 13:24

@Headingtowardsforty If you're worried ring your gp who can refer you to the epu. I was spotting pink last night- rang the gp this morning and she's put forward an urgent referral for scan and bloods at epu and have been told to expect a phone call in the next 48 hours. This surprised me as didn't think there was any point that this stage (5+2)!

Hopefully all is ok for you 😊

Jenw2018 · 23/07/2020 13:30

Hi All
Hope I can join?
Found out at the weekend, first baby and first try hubby was a bit shocked lol. Going by my app my due date is 23rd March, I’m 5 weeks+2. I never realised I would feel this tired even just doing dinner I was popped. A few symptoms like swollen and sore boobs, have a heavy feeling in my pelvic area...do you think that’s ok?
Hope everyone is doing well Smile

Headingtowardsforty · 23/07/2020 13:34

@bumblingalonghappily thanks, I am panicking slightly. I was going to phone midwives office today to see about my booking in appointment as I haven't heard anything yet. But I might just phone midwife directly as I have her number too. I've come to lie down for a bit to try and talk myself down and will check again in a bit and then see.

Headingtowardsforty · 23/07/2020 14:21

So it seems to have settled down so I have tried to talk myself off the ceiling and have left a message with the community midwife office as no one is answering. If it changes I'll call the gp as our epu won't see you without a referral.

2020wish · 23/07/2020 14:40

Anyone know if I will see a heart beat at 6 week 3?

My doctor referred me to epu as I’ve had 3 loses before so epu want to scan me in two weeks on the 6th aug. They have calculated I’m exactly 5 weeks today and should be 7 weeks by scan but every online calculator I put in I’m only like 4weeks 2 or 3 days. Therefore will only be 6weeks 3 days roughly at time of scan. Lmp 23-27th June and ovulated on 8th July. Found out with a visible enough faint line at 7dpo. But just dunno why I’m getting different dates compared to epu
