Hi guys! Just found out were expecting. Very early but have no one else I can compare symptoms or questions with. Also thought it would be nice to follow pregnancies together. Expected due date should be the middle of March!

@RaaRaaaa saw your comment and had to comment as I'm also due on 19th but have longer cycles Smile! Congratulations xx

mrsg2019 · 22/07/2020 23:30

Wanted to join the thread, I'm 5+2, due on 22nd March (I think, to be confirmed as not had any medical appointments yet). Congratulations everyone! X

bumblingalonghappily · 23/07/2020 03:49

I'm awake terrified in the middle of the night. I'm 5+2 with second pregnancy and last night before going to bed noticed (sorry for tmi) quite a lot of watery pale pink discharge. I never had even a hint of blood with dc1. No cramps yet but just have a feeling things aren't right, even though my nausea is still here. Has anyone else had this either now or in previous pregnancies?

My hcg test line was very dark yesterday morning but will do it again with fmu in a few hours- hoping I'll somehow get back to sleep!

I feel awful as a few times since finding about this pregnancy I've felt a bit shocked and overwhelmed about everything, as we got pregnant so quickly this time (which very much wasn't the case with dc1) and therefore the gap between them will only be 16 months- so I know it's stupid but I just feel like the few negative feelings I had have jinxed it.

Dipsy77 · 23/07/2020 05:18

@ValidUser that's how I realised I was pregnant with dd my cat wouldn't leave me alone she's the same this time she knows I'm pregnant before I do xx

BabySweet85 · 23/07/2020 05:45

Anyone experiencing early pregnancy insomnia? Exhausted but can’t sleep.

Sussexbysea · 23/07/2020 07:01

Good morning everyone!

I feel like it’s the big brother house here at the moment. Covid sucks!! I had so many medical professionals call me yesterday and none of them were a midwife. I’ll give them a call in a bit.

Pregnancy Symptoms are very much the same for me today. Sore boobs, lots of heartburn and some tugging when I got out of bed. Last night, my other half pointed of my tummy and said “wow, baby” I looked 6 months pregnant. The bloat is real.

I’ve convinced myself I’m having twins, no history of them in the family though. So strange!

Sparkles715 · 23/07/2020 07:04

@BabySweet85 yes! I’m awake at 6 or 6.30am. I would usually sleep until about 7.30 or 8.

2020wish · 23/07/2020 07:14

Hi everyone... cautiously joining.. due date March 30/31st although could potentially have a csection this time around due to complications in first pregnancy or could potentially go over due into April... so I’ve joined both threads until I get a better due date

32 on Saturday. Trying for baby number 2. I’ve had a few early losses this year. But 4weeks 2 days now. I found out 7dpo, every early and today I got 2-3 weeks on clear blue. Af due today or tomorrow. I’ve a better feeling about this baby precious I wasn’t getting 2-3 weeks until 5.5/6 weeks

Headingtowardsforty · 23/07/2020 07:16

Morning all. So the dreams have started for me. Dreamed I was miscarrying last night, no reason to think I am, my boobs are still killing me this morning and the room still spins if I get up quickly, especially when I get out of bed. I need to step away from Google, I think I'm freaking myself out.

Also decided that I am phoning community midwife today if I don't get my booking in appointment through the post. It's just stressing me out.

bumblingalonghappily · 23/07/2020 07:28

Has anyone had my experience? ☹️ Don't know whether I should be ringing the gp or anything! Line progression is still very good this morning (today's is at the bottom)

@bumblingalonghappily I think if you are worried then you should ring your local EPU but at 5w2 they might not scan you as it may be too early to see a heartbeat to confirm viability. A bit of spotting definitely doesn't have to mean the worst and line progression can be a good sign this early on, sending you lots of positive thoughts x

DSP21 · 23/07/2020 08:20

Hey guys, I'm just jumping on to say hello! I got my bfp at 12dpo and I'm now 18dpo, due roughly around 28th March. This is my first one so naturally very very anxious and just hoping all is okay down there! Blush

ArtemisBean · 23/07/2020 08:26

Morning everyone! I've been lurking for a while and finally feeling brave enough to join 😊 I'm 6+4 today, due around the 14th March. I have a DS who's almost 2. He's gone very clingy the last couple of weeks... Almost like he can sense there's something up! Counting the days until booking in appointment now. Feeling pretty bleh at the moment. Last time I turned a corner around the 9/10 weeks mark so hoping it's the same this time!

ElsiesJourney · 23/07/2020 09:10

Yes!!!! Me. Can't sleep at night but during the day at work could fall asleep at any moment. So frustrating
bumblingalonghappily · 23/07/2020 09:33

Thanks @SmileyT

I rang the gp who was lovely and has put through an urgent referral to the epu who will ask me to go in at some point over the next 48 hours. No more pink discharge this morning so fingers crossed- she said it could just be implantation bleeding but I don't think it can be as baby implanted well over a week ago now!

aureliacecilia · 23/07/2020 09:48

Hope all is well @bumblingalonghappily.

Sh4mmy · 23/07/2020 09:54

@Headingtowardsforty ha ha it's funny how we feel like we're being naughty, when in fact we're definitely old enough 😂! I'm
Most scared as my teens will probably not be happy, but they will be ok! Also not been with my OH for that long...but I feel it's a sign! Hope you're well today x

Sh4mmy · 23/07/2020 09:57

I've been having really vivid dreams too, when I sleep that is!! Please try not to worry about them and please do move away from Google....google is not our friend in times of need!! X
Sh4mmy · 23/07/2020 09:59

@BabySweet85 ah yes me, it's so bad, I remember it lots from my last pregnancy but that was much further on! I was awake at 6 this morning, dtd with the OH, then did a workout!! I'll be shattered by this afternoon though 😩

Sh4mmy · 23/07/2020 10:00

@bumblingalonghappily let us know how you get on x

Headingtowardsforty · 23/07/2020 10:03

@Sh4mmy my son is over the moon, he has wanted a baby brother or sister for a very long time.

I'm not great today, dreamed I lost the baby last night, no reason to think so. Though my symptoms have easied off a little. Going to chase my booking in appointment today in the hope that will help. Husband is very "it's all fine". It's so hard to just have to wait.

ValidUser · 23/07/2020 10:33

@Dipsy77 that's fascinating!

@bumblingalonghappily I had some spotting last Saturday, but stopped on Sunday and tests progressed nicely. Happens up to 25% of pregnant women. It's terrifying, though!

ValidUser · 23/07/2020 10:35

@Headingtowardsforty the dreams are something else! Hoping they mean nothing. Last night my husband was breastfeeding...

Sussexbysea · 23/07/2020 10:39

I finally got in touch with a midwife and she’ll do it all over the phone. Then she’ll leave the paperwork on the doorstep and I can go for bloods when isolation has finished

Headingtowardsforty · 23/07/2020 10:42

@ValidUser it's the first weird one I've had. It has freaked me out somewhat. Having just had coffee this morning I now feel sick again, never thought I'd be happy to say that!

@Sussexbysea glad you've finally managed to get hold of your midwife and get it sorted. Hope isolation passes quickly and easily for you.
