March 2021 babies

Hi guys! Just found out were expecting. Very early but have no one else I can compare symptoms or questions with. Also thought it would be nice to follow pregnancies together. Expected due date should be the middle of March!

I'm 4w5d now and not really finding I've got any symptoms other than I can't stop yawning today. I slept awkwardly and pulled a muscle in my neck, which is making me feel pretty miserable. I've given up caffeine (well, in drinks - not chocolate!) so perhaps that's why I feel so tired but maybe it's a pregnancy thing. I'm trying to work and it's literally yawn yawn yawn - and it's not that I find my work boring or anything like that! I'm not sure if I should be worried about having no symptoms yet. I did have sore breasts initially after finding out last week but they seem OK today. I didn't get morning sickness with my son so its absence isn't really a concern for me. I just feel like a tired version of normal today. I can't remember what this time was like with my son at all.

@helia no symptoms aren’t always a bad thing, we’re all different lovely.

I did yesterday or the day before (forget which) and it was basically as dark as it was when I found out last week, except it had only been about an hour since I last went to the loo. I am waking up at least twice to go to the loo now too... Maybe I'm having more symptoms than I think!

@helia our bodies are amazing, and maybe it’s just starting to gear up for all the symptoms. 3 weeks time you’ll be telling me that you are sick, tired etc hahah. I’m sure everything is ok xx

I’ve had AF pains all day and can hardly stay awake, I’ve also been having this sickly/nauseating feeling which i assume is why I have such a lack of appetite. All I ate yesterday was a tiny bowl of cereal for breakfast and 2 slices of bread and butter for dinner. All I’ve had today are some cherrys and strawberries.. surely this can’t be good!

Apparently due Middle of March, not much in the way of symptoms but hopeful there is a baby!

My test was last week I haven’t done once since!

@Lianne32 I only did one test as well. Mainly cos I did the clear blue digital one and the first one didn't work, but second one came back with 2-3 weeks, so figured I didn't need to. 2 weeks on and there's no doubt I'm pregnant, 7 weeks now and all the symptoms at various points.

Mines a ivf pregnancy so I have a scan on 30th, I have severe anxiety on pregnancy tests so I figured I shouldn’t keep testing and clinic said they was happy with the line - so I’m praying!

@Boredinthehouse12 I got those too, if I get up and walk around they do ease. I’ve got The feeling of wanting to be sick but I’m able to eat so much! But I eat and eat and now I’m not hungry for dinner. If I don’t eat, I feel sick.

@Sussexbysea I think we’re both around 6+2? So it would make sense that we’re pretty much going through the same symptoms. I think it’ll be bread and butter again for dinner!

To make it worse I think I’m coming down with something as I keep getting cold chills.

Another IVF woman here @Lianne32. I genuinely admire your restraint in testing once. (And may or may not be a tad obsessive.)

(But totally get the anxiety. I feel like I need to keep checking to make sure I'm still pregnant!)

@Boredinthehouse12 I haven't been hungry all day and have picked at random food. My stomach is now growling, but I am having to rearrange dinner for what I want to eat, rather than what I planned. And need to eat before I feel sick again.

@Headingtowardsforty What do you fancy at the moment? I can’t eat anything apart from fruit, bread and cereal. OH said he’ll have bread and butter with me for dinner which is quite sweet.

@Boredinthehouse12 that's very sweet of your husband. I am living on frazzles, pretzels, bananas, mango, custard and tinned ravioli. I am trying to have normal breakfast (poached eggs) but they are upsetting me too now. Seems to be worse in the middle of the day and better in the evenings. Salty and sweet seems to be what I want tho

Hey, I'm really struggling with food atm too. I only seem to fancy crumpets, toast and certain types of soup or pasta and sauces. I haven't had a hot meal since Friday! I'm desperate to eat properly to give my baby the right nutrients but just don't fancy very much. I haven't had any sickness but the thought of certain meals are naking me feel sick, so I guess I'm feeling slightly nauseous. I am taking folic acid with my food daily though.
I keep thinking I'm not really having any symptoms but obviously I am lol.

Hi everyone thought I’d update you all. I had my scan earlier on and everything is fine! Saw the heartbeat, it was lovely❤️

@Clara9 we can get a private scan down here for about £70 but I'm hoping because of the spotting I had last week and some cramps that they might give me an early scan x
