Hi guys! Just found out were expecting. Very early but have no one else I can compare symptoms or questions with. Also thought it would be nice to follow pregnancies together. Expected due date should be the middle of March!

@Phie04 I just feel awful today. No sickness, but every time I move the room spins round. I remember being dizzy last time, but not this bad. I feel really spacey too.

No symptoms really! The odd little twinge pain in my stomach.

@Headingtowardsforty I feel awful too. Ive had dizzy spells and weakness im hoping its not anaemia. I just have no motivation or energy to do anything. I feel hungover every day I wake up.

Back at work next week full time in a laboratory so I'm rather worried about it all. Covid and dealing with tiredness and sickness on full time hours without being able to tell anybody.

@Phie04 the lack of energy thing describes it really well. I have to keep reminding myself I'm 11 years older this time. Fortunately I work in a secondary school, so it's the holidays now and my husband is working from home, so is around to help supervise our ds.

@Headingtowardsforty I'm only 23 hopefully it subsides

@Phie04 I'm sure it will, I was tired last time as well. It's going to be a very long pregnancy otherwise!

So, I’ve got my booking in appointment with the midwife and it’ll be at my house. 27th July!! Stay in there little jelly bean.

Also, this is totally TMI.... but I’ve got smelly bits. Never had this before, EVER! Is this a pregnancy thing? I’m not itchy down there or anything, a bit discharge and just a bit smelly.

Oh god, I sound so unclean 🤣🤣

@Sussexbysea I kinda know what you mean. Its sort of like a sweet smell for me and gets stronger through the day. Im not sure if its an excess in CM or my heightened sense of smell... just showering more. Same as you no other symptoms so I just put it down to another symptom 🤷🏻‍♀️

We went to our local Italian today and I had pizza which I can eat no problem. I struggled to eat it and then felt so out of breath!

@Sussexbysea yay for your booking in appointment! Can I ask when you contacted midwife, only cos I'm Sussex too and wondering how long I have to wait to hear from them.
My sense of smell has gone crazy too, my ds loves prepacked ham and the smell of it when I opened it for lunch... 🤢

Hope you don't mind me joining. I got my bfp on Wednesday at 8dpo. I have been testing daily to make sure it's getting darker after a chemical last month! Also it's looks like possible due date is my daughters birthday I have included wednesdays and today's test.

Hello everyone - can I join too? Got my BFP on Wednesday and due on 25 March! I'm going to ring to get registered for antenatal care this week.

@Headingtowardsforty I contacted them on Friday 10th July and was contacted today.

@Sussexbysea Wednesday this week (15th), so hopefully that means I'll hear from them next week. I'm so impatient, I just want a date to focus on and know things are moving on.

It's exciting they're coming to you, I was worried that it would be a video call, hoping I get to meet my midwife face to face too.

Where abouts in Sussex are you?

I’m surprised they are coming here too. They’ve said they’ll take bloods etc from me, paperwork and then They’ll send me a date for my dating scan.

I’m in the south west and my first appointment is apparently an hour long phone call on the 30th of July. No mention of blood tests or scans yet, hopefully will find out more on the call 😁 my anxiety is horrendous, I’m convinced I’ve lost it even though there’s been nothing to suggest that

I got my first ever bfp this Monday - was a complete shock as we've been told we couldn't have children after 5 failed rounds of IVF. Due date will be 17th March as far as I can tell.
