Hi guys! Just found out were expecting. Very early but have no one else I can compare symptoms or questions with. Also thought it would be nice to follow pregnancies together. Expected due date should be the middle of March!

@Sussexbysea glad you're feeling okay today. I am waiting for the midwife to call to set up my booking in appointment too and for the letter with a scan date to arrive. My morning sickness has been easier today, but then the fear kicks in. Still shattered tho and the room spins every time I get up. We just have to be patient I guess, not very good at that tho!

bumblingalonghappily · 17/07/2020 15:28

Hi again all 😊

A bit sad this afternoon- have booked onto a private easy scan at 7 weeks but will have to go by myself. They allow one other adult in the room but no children and I have an 8 month old baby- so my husband will have to stay at home to look after him.

So very grateful for my bfp, but anxious enough about the scan as it is without the thought of going alone! Also sad for my DH not being able to see it. We have no family nearby who could babysit for us ☹️

Sakura54 · 17/07/2020 15:31

@Sussexbysea Thank you. False alarm! Everything is fine. As well as spotting, I was getting bad body aches and felt so weak, so was convinced I was going to have another MC, as the last baby stopped around now secretly. My symptoms are milder than usual and the nausea is non-existent. I also don’t have my usual hard belly. She confirmed I have a split uterus which previously some sonographers have seen and others haven’t. So I have a split and tilted uterus. This is the 3rd time I’ve had an internal scan and my goodness it was painful this time!

Can I join too? I'm 5+1 today with my first after 7 months of trying! I phoned the midwife team at my local hospital as advised by my dr and they said I was too early to contact them. How early have you contacted the midwives for the booking in appointment and at what weeks should I expect it?

Clara9 · 17/07/2020 16:07

@Karanciri congratulations! In the same boat

SmileyT · 17/07/2020 16:34

@LottieX Congrats 🥳 I'm also 5w1 with my 1st ☺️ last time my booking appt was booked for about 10weeks (MC before the appt) but really depends on the trust/ hospital, mine you don't even contact GP just do an online form then appt dates come through about 2 weeks later, some seem to have booking appts from 6weeks. Will you have an early scan? x

Clara9 · 17/07/2020 16:46

@LottieX congratulations. It’s strange how different GPs seem to do it differently. I’m booked in with a midwife for around 10 weeks, but that feels like such a long way away!

Headingtowardsforty · 17/07/2020 17:07

Our trust you have to complete an online self referral form after 6 weeks and then they contact you. At the moment I'm waiting for them a midwife to contact me having done my form on Wednesday.

Sakura54 · 17/07/2020 17:17

@Cmclaughlin94 I am 7 weeks according to the scan and 7 +5 according to LMP so not much of a difference. I’d also be confused if there was such a big difference but the important thing for you is that they saw a heartbeat and weren’t concerned.

@Boredinthehouse12 I didn’t bleed a single drop with my MMC and had full on bad symptoms. If it wasn’t for the 12 week scan, who knows how much longer it would have gone undetected. Strangely, I’m spotting now and not nauseous even though baby is alive. Pregnancy is a weird, random thing.

@LottieX My booking was done at less than 6 weeks which is surprising as usually they don’t do it until later as there’s a higher chance of MC early on (as bad as that sounds). I’ve usually had mine around 8 weeks.

TheLongSong · 17/07/2020 17:22

Hello! Can I join too? Got some faint bfps over the last few days and a positive digital today, 10dpo. So I'm veeeery early, not even 4 weeks yet.

Baby number 2, I have an 18 month old already. Due the end of March if all goes well!

Excited but also scared of being pregnant again, dreading morning sickness round two 😕

Snazzles2020 · 17/07/2020 18:35

@LauraMay09 hope your chat with the boss went well. You are not alone with concerns. I had a chat with my boss too (despite it been very early - due 15th March) as I was redeployed to a customer facing role last week and a little worried. I work at a popular national tourist attraction so due to have contact with many members of the general public from a huge variety of areas. My customer facing collegues had expressed on our work chat after the first weekend of reopening that a number of the general public were not social distancing from them or following the 1 way system in place. My boss was massively understanding and pleased I said something as they have been able to jig the rotas about a bit so I am in very low risk areas and also behind counter to ceiling screens where possible. I've also got my own toilet (I don't stand out, all staff are allocated a toilet to self clean) close to the 2 positions I am rota'd work in so if I suddenly need to go I am only a 1 minute walk away. Hopefully you've recieved similar support.

Maggi85 · 17/07/2020 23:17

Hello hope I’m ok to join - just got a positive result think I’m looking at a due date of 14th March. This is my 6th pregnancy & I have one little boy. I had a MMC in April so very anxious at the moment - due to my previous miscarriages I’m hoping to get a early scan xx congrats to everyone else and fingers crossed for healthy pregnancies x

Dipsy77 · 18/07/2020 05:28

Morning ladies
I've got my 3+ this morning so that's it for me and pregnancy tests now (hopefully).
I was so nervous waiting for the result felt like an age. I've woken up this morning feeling sick which I'm a weird way I'm pleased about but I'm sure that will soon change xx

Congrat@Dipsy77 looks like you already have a little one (aptimal in the back). How old?

I like the CB digital but wish they went further than 3+

Dipsy77 · 18/07/2020 07:33

@Sussexbysea thanks she's just gone10 months old and she is definitely contributing to the tiredness. Xx

SazCat · 18/07/2020 07:35

So unfortunately that's it, passed a clot about the size of my thumb this morning. Negative test now, no line not even feint, so must have ended a bit ago :(

I'll leave the thread now, congratulations to everyone and hopefully I'll be on the May or June board x

Sussexbysea · 18/07/2020 07:47

Oh @SazCat, I’m so sorry. I can totally sympathise with you and know exactly how you feel. The emotional pain does go away but take time for yourself. Xx

Rainbow1808 · 18/07/2020 07:50

@SazCat So sorry☹️ All the best for the future x

Dipsy77 · 18/07/2020 07:51

Reinee · 18/07/2020 10:34

Hi Ladies hope you dont if I join. Got my bfp 'surprisingly' 2 days ago. My cycle has been all over the place. When I should of ovulated I felt nothing then a week later what I thought was ovulation might have been implantation. So not sure how far along I am but must be 5w +. Congrats to everyone here. Look forward to sharing this journey with you all. XSmile

Phie04 · 18/07/2020 11:23
