Hi guys! Just found out were expecting. Very early but have no one else I can compare symptoms or questions with. Also thought it would be nice to follow pregnancies together. Expected due date should be the middle of March!

Hi. Can I join? Found out today after being a few days late. And ironically the day referral letter came from fertility centre. 18 months of trying! Congrats to all!

SmileyT · 16/07/2020 16:53

@SazCat ahh I'm sorry you're having to go through this, if it's an early pregnancy the tests will likely be fainter already if it was sadly a MC. But also you can definitely have bleeding and everything be fine 🤞

ALew15 · 16/07/2020 17:28

Some lovely news from the Welsh Government today that partners can start attending antenatal scans again!

Sparkles715 · 16/07/2020 17:43

I got a BFP today! EDD somewhere around the 25th of March.

Sussexbysea · 16/07/2020 19:02

Hey everyone,

You know when you get pains and then when you know that something isn’t right? I don’t think this is going to stick, I have a feeling in the morning I’ll be bleeding.

So strange, I could just be having stronger pains where everything is stretching but I’m not so sure xx

Clara9 · 16/07/2020 19:07

I’m doing this too! Worried it was false positive or something will go wrong. Going to be expensive if I keep this up!

DivaRainbow · 16/07/2020 19:12

This might be TMI but all day I have had really bad Diarrhoea and lower back ache! Im starting to panic as never had this in previous pregnancies.

Sussexbysea · 16/07/2020 19:13

@Clara9 my tests have all been really positive and showing 3+ weeks on the CB digital but I’m just getting all the doubts.

When I miscarried last year, I think it was a chemical pregnancy and was never going to be viable. The test was just super sensitive and when it happened I never had the pains and cramps etc.

I really hope this isn’t it but what will be will be xx

Sussexbysea · 16/07/2020 19:15

@DivaRainbow I’ve got lower back ache too, I never had this with my daughter. Bounty says that it’s all part of early pregnancy though. But then change your google search slightly and it then goes the other way.

Having babies is bloody hard work!!

Clara9 · 16/07/2020 19:25

I think it’s a mix of ‘am I really pregnant?!’ And just checking things are ok. I’m used to making plans and organising things, so really struggling with having no control over this!

Clara9 · 16/07/2020 19:27

I’ve just bought some cheaper strip ones so I don’t break the bank! Will probably do one every week until my scan. Got an early one booked as I will need to tell work before we go back in September.

SmileyT · 16/07/2020 20:06

@Clara9 just remember hcg tests can get lighter after 6 weeks as type of hcg changes and can sometimes be too much and overwhelm test - google hook effect - just don't want you to worry down the line x

SazCat · 16/07/2020 20:14

@sussexbysea That's how I've felt the past few days, my pains were like what I had months into my last one. Just hasn't felt right.

I hope all is good for you. Such a horrible waiting game isn't it.

Sparkles715 · 16/07/2020 20:19

@Asha88 is the group set to secret (not just private)?

Sparkles715 · 16/07/2020 20:19

Sorry I mean is it set to private not just closed?

Asha88 · 16/07/2020 20:20

Its completely private, you would need to add me as a friend for me to add you as it cant be found any other way xx

Sparkles715 · 16/07/2020 20:22

Great I have sent a friend request.

bubblybon20 · 16/07/2020 20:27

@SmileyT you're totally right! I took a FRER on Monday, and the control line isn't even on the test. It's all drawn over to the test line. I'm 6+4. But obviously felt the need to test again 🙄 but I think some tests can actually show faint positives too after so long. 🤷🏻‍♀️ all very mind blowing. X

AnaBananas · 16/07/2020 21:01

I’ve received details of my booking appointment, on 26 July, which happens to be a Sunday. Just wondering whether anyone has had an appointment scheduled with a midwife on a weekend?

Sussexbysea · 16/07/2020 21:08

@AnaBananas is it face to face or over the phone? Midwifes work all day everyday so a weekend appointment isn’t unusual

Sussexbysea · 16/07/2020 21:08

@bubblybon20 my test showed all the colour on the left hand line not much on the right hand line

SmileyT · 16/07/2020 21:17

@bubblybon20 yes this is definitely a thing 👌🏾

@AnaBananas for my last pregnancy (I didn't actually make it to the booking appt) but it was booked on a Sunday, I guess it's a hospital so they work Monday-Sunday not just 9-5 ☺️ x

bubblybon20 · 16/07/2020 21:18

@Sussexbysea yeah it's mad, had to google make sure I wasn't going crazy! As was worrying when it first happened 🤣🤣🙈

AnaBananas · 16/07/2020 21:24

@Sussexbysea @SmileyT Thanks both. It’s a telephone appointment so makes sense why it will be over the phone.
