@Pol96 sorry I can't help but hope all goes well

@Sophiamel987 currently have all my newborn clothes in the line whilst it is nice. Recommend the snuzpod. Loved mine.

@Pinkpaintlover same here but I know it's another boy so got everything down from then loft and washing it!

@CoalCraft I felt the same but taking advantage of the sunshine!

Pol96 · 14/09/2020 16:03

Thanks @mumsofboys all okay, he had no concerns so staying midwife led (I'm apparently slightly hypermobile though!)

Maxdoggy · 14/09/2020 21:46

@Positivetime No tips, I’m afraid (except lots of fruit including prunes and plenty of water) but just wanted to say I feel your pain!! I’ve suffered a bit with proctalgia fugax 😱🤮😷 (thanks Dr Google). A new low in pregnancy-related discomfort! 🤣

mumsofboys · 14/09/2020 22:13

Drink peppermint tea girls. Seriously had to after my son was was born!!!

CoalCraft · 14/09/2020 22:20

Am also still suffering with the constipation on and off. It's rarely actually painful but it's given me heamorrhoids and occasionally they bleed quite a lot 😒

Have found that all bran and lots of water help, eggs make things much worse!

MeganC104 · 15/09/2020 13:33

I'm now looking at the venicci shadow pram. Anyone else seen or used these before?

flashbac · 15/09/2020 18:36

Buying nappies now might be a good idea if there's a no deal Brexit....

MarvEll · 15/09/2020 20:39

Oh dear I've started looking at baby stuff! My partner's sister is going to give us all her old stuff anyway... But now I've begun....

mumsofboys · 15/09/2020 21:39

@flashbac I feel like all I do is search for bloody nappies as it is for my 1 year old!!!
And wipes- they're all changing packaging at the moment and I now hate all wipes.

Never thought I'd be moaning about baby wipes 🤣🤣

mumsofboys · 20/09/2020 08:52

How's everyone doing? So tired atm I feel constantly hungover 🤪

Maxdoggy · 20/09/2020 09:29

Yes! Hangover describes perfectly how I feel!

Sunshinedahlia · 20/09/2020 10:55

Bought some nappies yesterday!
Doctor told me I will have to do the 3-part glucose blood test to check for gestational diabetes 😭 Has anyone done it already?
Otherwise, feeling better than I have since the beginning (apart from heart palpitations which I had this week: scary but apparently normal...).

mumsofboys · 20/09/2020 11:51

Shame the vodka isn't involved 🤣

@Sunshinedahlia I've had one blood tests so far, it's not like they did before for me with one fasting blood test, horrible sugar drink and wait for 3 hours in hospital then another blood test, you aren't allowed to be in hospital that long now which is why it's just normal fasting blood tests.
Second blood test in 2 weeks!

Sunshinedahlia · 20/09/2020 17:21

Ah ok! I‘m doing the long one with 2 (i thought it was 3?) tests, but at my doctors surgery as a special case. They arranged it for me as I‘m so scared of needles.
@mumsofboys did you have symptoms or why are you having the tests? Our baby was ever so slightly on the high end of the weight curve so my doctor wants to rule it out...but not having the tests for 6 weeks still.

mumsofboys · 20/09/2020 22:57

@Sunshinedahlia that's the one, my first born was measuring big throughout, didn't have gd but had a section in the end as he was stuck so they're keeping a eye on this ones growth etc. Been brilliant really.

MeganC104 · 21/09/2020 13:56

I can't stop munching on unhealthy snacks. I've had an obscene amount of biscuits today already. I feel so guilty but struggling to eat anything else

Katerinakaterinaki · 21/09/2020 15:34

Afternoon all,
I'm 23+5 today, does anyone else feel like their bump isn't getting much bigger yet? I swear in the last two weeks there's been negligible change! I think the few comments from colleagues regarding the size of my bump (I can't believe you're 5 months , you're so small, I was expecting more of a bump by now etc) are making me more conscious of it.
I have been consciously trying to eat enough food and drink enough water, but lots of cravings for junk at the moment.

My next appt is at the end of the month and my Dr will be sending me to get the g.d. test done, yay...

Sunshinedahlia · 21/09/2020 16:05

@Katerinakaterinaki My bump looks huge to me and I swear there are a few days where it grows loads and symptoms get worse: tiredness, emotions, etc! And then days where it stays the same. Other people don‘t seem to think it looks big though. 🤷🏻‍♀️
You too with the gd test? I am really dreading it.

Katerinakaterinaki · 21/09/2020 17:23

Yes I think it's routine procedure here in Greece (I live over here but am British), I have had quite a few blood tests already for loads of things and also a couple of urine tests. I've got no reason to think I have it, yet I'm still worried I'm going to fail the test.

Just after I wrote my previous post, my baby has been more active than ever and my belly has been moving around all over the place with loads of kicking Grin

I think my bump definitely looks like a bump, but I think a couple of my work colleagues have been so excited about it that they just want to see a huge bump already! I have to remind them I've still got nearly 4 months of growing to do Hmm

mumsofboys · 21/09/2020 20:04

@Katerinakaterinaki I feel smaller than I did with my first born. ESP in the mornings

mumsofboys · 23/09/2020 22:18

I wayyyy over did it Monday and Tuesday, sorted nursery, washed everything I could possibly get done whilst it was still nice, did gardening all basically in prep for winter. Ontop of work.

Was worried about movements yesterday and then this morning too but had a chill day and since 3pm he has been wild!

I obviously just rocked him to sleep too keeping busy. 🤣

dixiedo · 25/09/2020 11:47

Hope everyone is okay. It's gone so quiet on this board Daffodil

mumsofboys · 25/09/2020 13:43

@dixiedo I know right- when I had my first our board would only last a week before needing new 🤪

Wonder if it's because a fb page was set up early?

I'm not actually on that and didn't want to until the safe arrival of baby ☹️

dixiedo · 25/09/2020 13:53

Ahh I didn't know there was a Facebook page. I'm not on Facebook either!
Well I hope you're okay anyway. I'm a bit nervy with the whole Covid getting bad again was hoping our births would be more relaxed but doesn't seem like it 😖

Pol96 · 25/09/2020 14:16

@dixiedo I was thinking it had gone really quiet too.. Also not on the Facebook page, like you @mumsofboys I didn't want to join too early
