@MRSO2017

Hi everyone! I hope I'm on the right bus! Due at the very end of Jan 31st and currently 17 weeks 5 days based in South West London Smile
Hi! Same due date as me so we’re just on the bus haha
Sophiamel987 · 28/08/2020 13:19

Hi ladies, might be a personal question for some people but how much weight has you put on so far and how many weeks are you? I’ve put on 7lb and I’m 18 weeks however I don’t think the eating out to help out has helped 🙈

OrangeJ · 28/08/2020 15:48

Hi everyone. Please can I join? I’ve been following for a while but think only commented once before. My EDD is 26th Jan. We had a private sex scan at 16 weeks and we’re having a boy 😊

@Sophiamel987 I’ve put on exactly the same as you and I’m 17 + 3. I’m keeping track of my weight, not restricting calories or anything, just keeping aware. I’m also measuring bits on myself and so far I’ve only put on inches on my tummy and boobs so think it’s going in the right places! Haha 🤞 I know how much you need to gain depends on how much you weighed to begin with. I was 10st 4 to start and things I’ve read online say I should put on between 25-35lbs I think. So atm think I’m in a healthy range.

How are people doing with exercising? I’m finding it hard to get the motivation. I need to get into a routine!

Sophiamel987 · 28/08/2020 16:37

@OrangeJ thanks that’s reassured me 😊 I don’t feel like I have put weight on in other areas other than my stomach so feel ok about that. I’m just trying to be careful and wanted to compare to you guys. Exercise I’ve struggled with mainly because the sickness came back and the weather has been really bad here. I’m just trying to get out for a few walks a week.

Sophiamel987 · 28/08/2020 16:39

@OrangeJ I’m due 28th so not long between us! Congrats on your little boy! We had a 16 week scan too and I was dying to find out but we’ve decided not to 🙈

Maxdoggy · 28/08/2020 20:40

@Sophiamel987 Glad it’s not just me! I’ve put on about 5lb so far and am 22 weeks. I’m doing quite a lot of exercise too. I’ve always done lots of running so have been trying to do this about 4 times per week, but I CANNOT STOP EATING! Started pregnancy yoga last week so hoping that’ll help the muscles...

@MRSO2017 I’m also London! SE but Dulwich so not far over. Where in SW are you ?

Sophiamel987 · 29/08/2020 07:17

@Maxdoggy I know I always said I wouldn’t do the eating for 2 thing as I know it will be hard work getting it back off but some days I can’t stop haha 😂 🙈

MRSO2017 · 29/08/2020 11:06

I'm in Clapham! So definitely not miles away!

MRSO2017 · 29/08/2020 11:08

Haha hi due date buddy! Feels weird being at the back of the bus took ages to get to scans when everyone else had theirs! Looking forward to my 20 week scan on the 16th! Caved and had a gender scan at 16 weeks though! Having a girl, how about you?

Bubbabee · 29/08/2020 11:24

@Pol96 that's amazing 💙

Hey ladies, weight wise I've lost 8lbs and dont seem to be gaining any. Although I don't eat very well to be honest. I was told at the hospital last week I need to try as my urine showed up I'm dehydrated. Jealous of you with good appetites 😥

Bubbabee · 29/08/2020 11:25

Also is anybody else's baby very low? My baby girl is so comfy low down but very uncomfortable for me 😩

Pol96 · 29/08/2020 12:25

@Bubbabee I've lost weight too! I started gaining then lost it all again.. My appetite hasn't been great but I've been making sure I eat the same if not more than prepregnancy. And like you baby boy stays low down the majority of the time, it hurts if I bend over!

Louscarlet · 29/08/2020 15:52

Hi all, not posted for a while but I was on one of the earlier jan 2021 threads. First time older mum at just turned 40 and panicking about the slightest thing! I had some light spotting early on. I’m just over 18 weeks. Had an 8 week private scan and my normal nhs 12 week and all checks have been OK.
Prepare for TMI (apologies) I’ve had pale yellow discharge for a short time. It seemed thicker today (no smell). Mild aches / cramps with the odd sharp pain which I’m led to believe is normal!?
Think I’ve felt flutters which may be baby but not too worried on that as it’s still early days. I’ve also had the typical stomach issues like gas, constipation or the opposite! All the joys!
Discomfort in my coccyx, again I’ve read this is ‘normal’.
But today when I wiped after a pee there was a pin prick of blood. I mean tiny red dot. Less than a pin head probably even a grain of salt. Definitely blood, I am an expert I feel now and study every time I wipe (sorry it’s just what I do!).
It sounds silly even typing it to panic but I am. And it’s a weekend so I can’t contact my midwife and no docs until Tuesday as it’s a bank hol!!
Should I just monitor and pray it doesn’t continue/worsen? Hoping someone else on here has had this or knows someone that has who can calm me. The fact it was red just panicked me and a stupid google search took me to another thread I think on another site where someone said they had this and it was how their first miscarriage was with no heavy bleed!!!! Thanks all and hope you’re having a good weekend and sorry for the lengthy post, just want to be able to visit the bathroom without panicking every time. Hopefully I’m not alone xx

wigglerose · 29/08/2020 18:28

OH MY GOD I WAS IN THE SHOWER, WAS WASHING MY BOOB AND COLOSTRUM CAME OUT I AM SO FREAKED OUT. SO FREAKED OUT. I'm only 20 weeks.
I am not feeling the wonder of pregnancy today, ladies. It looked like pus and frankly I felt quite ill. Now I'm afraid to touch my boobs in case more comes out.

Tiltedclone · 29/08/2020 20:14

We must be living parallel lives except my 20wk scan is on the 17th. I paid for a private scan too at 16 weeks and also having a girl! I’m a tad nervous though because a few people on a FB group I’m on have said they were told a girl at 16weeks and then boy at the hospital 20wk scan 😱
MRSO2017 · 29/08/2020 23:31

Haha amazing! Counting down the weeks, you must let me know how you get on! Oh wow really! I have thought it might happen but we definitely had a very clear view between the legs and even I thought that must be a girl! I'm not buying a thing until after my 20 week scan just in case! I think my daughter who really wanted a brother will be happy if it's wrong haha!

MeganC104 · 29/08/2020 23:51

Just found out we're having a little boy!

MarvEll · 30/08/2020 09:59

@wigglerose I was just coming to say something similar. My boobs seem to be leaking quite regularly now... Just realised it's gone through my PJs and sweatshirt I was wearing over the top 😬... Does this mean I need to start sleeping in bras with a pad or something? Anyone else feeling a bit leaky?

wigglerose · 30/08/2020 11:36

I'm glad I'm not the only on @marvell! No idea. I guess so.

Sunshinedahlia · 30/08/2020 14:09

Hi @OrangeJ I‘m 18+4 and did a YouTube workout from Tone It Up this morning, part of their bump and body series. Was the closest thing I‘ve had to a real workout in 2 months, have only just felt like it. Last week I started yoga, the week before I started slowly with swimming and then longer, „faster“ walks. Feeling optimistic about exercise now! Was so exhausted and nauseous until recently was worried I was going to lie on the sofa for the next 5 months. 😂

Sorry to the ladies asking about bodily fluids, FTM so am clueless.

Maxdoggy · 30/08/2020 16:09

@Louscarlet
I had a similar experience - went for a wee and noticed some blood when I wiped. This was at 20 weeks and am now 22+2- all fine at scan. The midwife said something about little blood vessels bursting and that it was normal. BUT, I know that’s not helpful unless you’re actually told- so definitely go to your maternity triage. They are open 24/7, and you should have a tel phone number for emergencies too? I think you should call and get checked out simply for your peace of mind; I imagine that’s most of what the deal with on a daily basis anyway- that’s what it’s there for! Smile
Good luck ! Xxx

kim160790 · 31/08/2020 15:38

20 week scan tomorrow and my partner can come in soooo happy!!!!

Pogmella · 31/08/2020 17:03

Hullo, I should really be on the Feb bus with a due date on 7th Feb but DD1 came at 37 weeks so I’m thinking I might be better off here.

I’ve been really unwell with loose bowels for about 2 days- very drained now and I’ve got dry lips and constant headaches now. Should I let my midwife know or ride this out? Am 17+2 with DD2

Sunshinedahlia · 31/08/2020 18:36

That‘s great @kim160790 hope it goes well!

Lollipop93 · 01/09/2020 16:44

@Pogmella hey, I feel quite similar to you I hate really drying and feel overall run down and really tired and not much appetite. My bowels can be quite loose too or the opposite. Not sure if it’s the iron tablets, but defo just feel run down :/ I’m 20+2
