@Pinkpaintlover it was such a massive relief! Fingers crossed the days go quick for you, I know how torturous it is waiting for that call. You’re definitely right about it being a rollercoaster! I’m sure everything will be fine xxx

@dixiedo I definitely wouldn’t be concerned, I’m pretty sure you hear back pretty quickly if you’re high risk. I’d certainly be chasing it up though xx

BabyG123 · 10/07/2020 11:52

@dixiedo what series!?! 🤣 neighbor no longer speaks to us. Clearly the big fat pigeons and sh*t everywhere was precious to her 🤪
Bloods wise they don't get back to you in general bloods unless something happens is wrong just the downs/Pat/eds you should get a letter.

@Pinkpaintlover I had the bloods yesterday so I'll let you know. He sonographer said low chances of Down's syndrome as the nuchal measurement was below 3.5mm at 1.4mm.

@dixiedo do you know if your hospital has online records that you can access as the patient. My hospital does, so I had my scan and bloods a week ago. Saw my 20 week scan appointment Date on my record, the same day and most of my blood test results within a couple of working days. I know they will discuss the blood test results at 16week phone appointment.

Hi all, been reading all your posts but haven’t posted myself for a bit. I’m 10+6 now still in denial.

Had first midwife appt today at the birth centre and it has totally upset me, I’ve been in bed since 3pm an emotional wreck.

Apparently my BMI is slightly too high so she’s advised aspirin. I was so anxious my bp was 138/80 which she said was too high (mine usually 120/65) then she retook it and it was 128/80 which she said is still too high. It def wasn’t the midwife fault I got upset, I just can’t accept the fact I’m pregnant and i felt like an imposter sitting there, overwhelmed and not accepting anything she was saying as real - sounded like in a bubble.

Feel very low now and am annoyed at myself. Scan is next Friday so hopefully that might at least clarify if this is all real. 😕

Celibacydidntwork · 10/07/2020 17:54

Ps. Sorry for being misery chops, happy Friday all ♥️

devilliams · 10/07/2020 19:12

@Pinkpaintlover I had my tests done on Monday and today looked on my online app and the results were in. Not sure if you have online notes or not?

BabyG123 · 10/07/2020 20:27

@Celibacydidntwork I take aspirin. It not a issue. Just to help if blood clots. I'm sure your blood pressure was high through worry. Hopefully be better next time.

I feel so bruised after my scan yesterday. Hurts when I sit down. I asked her to stop at one point as she was pushing so hard on my c section scar 🥺

Thanks all. No online access. Have to wait for the midwife to call me. Hopefully Harmony won’t take as long as 14 days. Will be good knowing for sure as I know it’s more accurate than the combined test.
I take aspirin too and don’t think anything of it.

@BabyG123 that doesn’t sound great. Hope you feel better soon. Was it Harmony bloods or combined test bloods you had? Combined test ones are fairly quick. I got mine at my next appointment which was a week later.
I got 1 in 235 for DS which is why I’ve had the Harmony test. They offer at my hospital for anyone below 1 in 500.

Keeping everything crossed and trying to stay positive. Only 12 more days to go 🤪

Hello to all the runners out there. Has anyone went back to running yet or when are you planning to? If you have started have you slowed down much/reduced distance? Im 12+6 today and I’m slowly feeling better but still don’t think I could run a 5k but I am so looking forward to exercising again. Does anyone else feel weird at the thought of running like as if the baby is like moving about too much inside with all the up and down? Can anyone put my mind at ease that it’s ok lol! Or any other exercise I can do? I have stationary bike I might use too.

IshaPoet · 11/07/2020 12:05

Morning ladies.

Been feeling less and less pregnant except for the sore boobs I'm not really having much symptoms just hoping it their easing off.
Has anyone else been feeling the same?

Still have 11 days till my scan and I don't want to waste money poas anymore because it'll just become obsessive and I don't want to put myself through that.

Hope your all ok trying to find a way to meditate and relax but it's easier said than done with the little villagers running around ❤️💙💜

I'm 11+1 today 💐

I've signed up to boot camp but it doesn't start until the beginning of August.

I was playing a lot of netball and bootcamping before lockdown and haven't really exercised since so I will be taking it easy when I do go.

My energy is starting to come back and I'm getting a bit restless sat here all day. I've tried home works outs but I really need a group environment to stay motivated.

BabyG123 · 11/07/2020 12:49

I feel like my energy and nausea is getting worse 🤪 13+3

@Lollipop93 I used to do a lot of running but eased off when TTC and haven't run at all since getting my BFP. For the first time yesterday I felt a bit of an urge to go for a run. Not sure if I will though... I know it's fine to do exercise to a level your body is used to but having not run for 10 weeks or so I'm not sure if my body would still be used to it. I might just stick to brisk walks and maybe some yoga. I am looking forward to starting again after the baby is born though! Hoping it won't take too long to get some fitness back.

@IshaPoet I think it's really normal for symptoms to ease off around this time. I think it's something to do with the placenta taking over hormone production.

Bubbabee · 11/07/2020 13:33

My energy and nausea on an evening is worse than ever. My boobs are so sore and heavy still too..

14+3

mummasoph · 11/07/2020 15:15

Hi all, haven't posted on bus 4 yet but I have been looking. Just been cruising through, got my 12 week scan on Wednesday can't wait for it. Had a little bleeding last night with a sore tummy but gone away today, been quite stressed and upset the last couple of days so wondering if that had any effect on me?! Worrying myself silly now and just want my scan to come so I can see the little baba is ok. Hope you're all doing well ladies, only another 6 months (more or less) for us all to go 😂😩

Pol96 · 11/07/2020 15:45

@mummasoph I have my scan on Wednesday too.. Getting very anxious (but also excited) about it! What times your scan?

Lollipop93 · 11/07/2020 15:49

@MissHoney85 hey, I’m the exact same not did any runs apart from one small 15 min jog since BFP so it doesn’t really count! I’ve been the same like I have such an urge to run coz I used to love just putting my head phones in and going out and listening to podcasts etc. I feel like coz it’s been weeks I def won’t be able to just go straight back into it. In a couple of weeks I’ll see how I feel and maybe just try a jog and see how it goes. I’m scared tho coz I’m even out of breath just going up the stairs just now haha

BabyG123 · 11/07/2020 16:32

@Bubbabee I hear it is supposed to get better so I'm baffled. Just had a 2 hour nap (gonna regret the toddler having that this late!) and feel like I've been hit by a bus

mummasoph · 11/07/2020 17:02

@pol96 i got the first scan of the day - 9am which I'm so happy about coz I don't have to wait about all day for it! What time is yours? Yeah I'm so anxious about mine, it's only natural though. these next few days are gonna go so slowly. Gonna try and keep myself busy to get me through 😂

Pol96 · 11/07/2020 17:21

@mummasoph mines not till 2pm Sad I've literally read through all the 12 week scan threads on here and the anxiety is so normal.. But it doesn't stop you worrying does it!? I need to find stuff to keep me busy.. Not sure what though!

mummasoph · 11/07/2020 18:49

@pol96 aww no you'll have to go out in the morning or something to try pass the time. Luckily I have a little one to keep me busy, she'll be 9 months at the end of this month so safe to say I have my hands full. Gonna go out tomorrow for a family day out then god knows what for the two days after that 😩 you're always just waiting for the next scan, as soon as this one is over you'll be waiting for the 20 week one 😂 I'm gonna book an early private gender scan at 16 weeks I think so it's not as long in between the two 😊

Carabu1 · 11/07/2020 18:49

@Lollipop93 I’m 15+4 today and have run all the way thus far. Reduced mileage (c 15-20 miles max per week) and very easy pace with a hr monitor on. So far I’ve been fine, but yesterday I did have what I think was some round ligament pain and had to cut short. Rang midwife and she was cool about it, but am going to ease off running now and maybe just do a few v short jogs to tide me over til pool opens, then stop. Equally, someone else in my running club is going strong at 24 weeks, so I guess it just depends. Listen to your body, take it easy, and I’m sure you’ll be fine if you ran before.

Bubbabee · 11/07/2020 19:02

@BabyG123 that's what I thought about it getting easier 🤦‍♀️.. oh no hopefully your child will still have a normal bedtime so you can rest. I was meant to prepare a shepherds pie but instead I cleaned all my oven and my living room and now I'm shattered 😩.. takeout it is 😂

BabyG123 · 11/07/2020 20:57

@Bubbabee thankfully he went straight down! And so am I now 🤪
