Hi, starting this thread -very tentitively- as a graduation from the TTC after MMC group. A couple of us have begun to get BFPs and I would like a space to go though this with people who get why I'm so anxious - especially in the first trimester! Some of the other threads are so big and rather gung ho and I want to tread a bit gently right now!
I am only 4 weeks but have been getting progressively darker tests since 7-8dpo.
I'm becoming more certain this is not a chemical but I am being so cautious! Definitely too scared to work out a EDD yet!

Ew1990 I think if you called them now and said you weren't sure if it's a new pregnancy (even though it clearly is! ) You will get blood tests no problem. They did it for me when I was still getting positives 6 weeks after my miscarriage xxx
So exciting! Xx

I don’t know about the dating. I guess given the timescale it seems likely that you had some kind of four to five week cycle? Maybe it will mean they will have to hold off and be very cautious with the dating and sizes etc until it is clear??

Yeah. I work next door to the epu and last time when I said I had pain they booked me in straight away so I'll ask them.

I'm going to wait and see if they get darker and then I might get a digital in a week or so. See what that says I Think

This morning's is a bit darker. I'm not testing now for a few days coz I can feel myself becoming anxious about the lines and I don't wanna do that

Does this seem normal, never had it before..
tested again today, but the control line is so so faint compared to the other. Is it a faulty test?

@bubblybon20 that's really odd! Maybe the lines are the wrong way around ? Either way both are clearly positive so all good I say 😊 xxxx

@bubblybon20 oh 😂 a part of me (maybe a crazy part) would love twins. Get the first 12 months out of the way and then they would entertain each other. 😬
That is a lot of twins in one family though hun.🙈 x

@ew1990 that's how I felt. It took us 5 months to conceive last time (miscarriage) and thought that was pretty fast so to get caught straight after miscarriage I was genuinely so shocked. How had my body had chance to reset etc. I had my miscarriage at 11 weeks pregnant at Easter so mid April! Had one period 38 days later then bang. Mind you... we dtd ALOT!! I was determined! 🙈

@mrsttobe well we just DTD on random days. Not particularly a lot. Prob about 6 times from negative test. Must have fell lucky.

With DD it took us just over 2 years. So both times I've been expecting a really long wait.
