@Beau2020 I thought that. Invite link probably the safest way via pm on here.

@Lucky08 Sorry to hear about the loss of your mum to that.

I'm happy to start the group if no one else is? Have been on since thread 1 but didn't start the thread.

I think you need to add at least one person by contact to create the group and then you can send the link out?

cannotmakemymindup · 17/07/2020 16:01

@squashie34 I'll pm you so we can get this up and running

The breathlessness has been ridiculous for me the last week! I can’t wait for him to drop a bit & get some relief 🙈

In regards to a PE, you are likely to have breathlessness as one symptom, alongside pain in your chest/back & a sharp pain when taking a breath in. If you are just experiencing breathlessness it’s more likely pregnancy related, but if you’re ever concerned phone 111.

squashie34 · 17/07/2020 16:13

Ladies we've set up the WhatsApp so if you're a regular and want the link please just pop me a private message and I can send ☺️

Oldestchild90s · 17/07/2020 16:18

@squashie34 how do you private message? 🤦🏼‍♀️ sorry!

squashie34 · 17/07/2020 16:19

I think you have to do it on the web browser version rather than on the talk app but I could be wrong?

Firstmummytobe · 17/07/2020 16:28

Well to be honest I think we all know I’m genuine as I have been here since the very start of thread one and shared my whole experience and picture of our little one, so I really don’t mind if anybody wants to send me their numbers via PM and I will set the group up? Xx

Firstmummytobe · 17/07/2020 16:29

Ahhh sorry I didn’t see the above message 🥰

JMill13 · 17/07/2020 17:30

I can link people to my Instagram/twitter/facebook for authenticity but I swear I'm genuine 😊

sezzywoowoo21 · 17/07/2020 18:50

@squashie34...iv pm you 😊 x

Beau2020 · 17/07/2020 19:38

I'd like the link please, also been here since thread 1 and shared lots of photos etc 💪

Ladies, any tips for swollen feet? They are so uncomfortable. (please excuse the half peeled off gel polish).

@squashie34 I've sent you a pm

@sel2223 looks sore, drink lots of water and then more water. Raise them high and if not too painful run them for circulation.

KittyKat2020 · 17/07/2020 20:20

@squashie34 I’ve sent you a pm 😊

Just got back from hospital as had contractions and less movement. All good Given bigger painkillers and it would seem it’s just pain from a Big breech baby, so still a waiting game

Liverpool20 · 17/07/2020 20:26

@Firstmummytobe

Do you think we should start a WhatsApp group now? Xx
Hi, hope you don’t mind me being personal but just wanted to ask how you had found the Women’s to be at this time? I saw my midwife there yesterday and she said rules are still the same re: birth partner only being allowed in once labour is fully established. It’s scaring the heck out of me the thought of being alone in there 😖
Boomclaps · 17/07/2020 20:28

@squashie34 I've sent you a pm

Weirdly. More water helped my water retention. Although my feet aren’t overly swollen I still can’t get my shoes (bar flip flops) on

How’s everyone feeling?!

Havlerr · 17/07/2020 21:01

@sel2223 definitely drink as much water as possible and keep your feet elevated, especially at night when you sleep with pillows. My feet aren’t too bad but my ankles definitely are getting swollen so I’m expecting them to puff up in the next few weeks.

Ladies how do you know if your bump has dropped? Mine is a smidge lower I think but I can’t really tell. It wasn’t really high in the first place but I think it may have dropped slightly so wondering if there’s any signs other than by sight?

@squashie34 I’ll pm you now x

Firstmummytobe · 17/07/2020 21:07

@Liverpool20 hi lovely!!! I was allowed my partner in as I was being induced into labour so he was able to stay for the entirety but unfortunately from what I’ve heard, it’s still 4/5cm (established labour) for people not being induced.
It’s so strange and I don’t know how they can decide rules like that but sadly the same counts for postnatal ward aswell☹️
The care they gave me there was second to none absolutely amazing !! 💙💙

kaxxz · 17/07/2020 22:01

Hi guys

I'm having an absolute meltdown, i took my iron tablet ten minutes ago and then took another one without realising that I had already taken my evening dosage 🤦🏼‍♀️. I'm only supposed to take one tablet two times a day. I'm worried whether having too much iron will impact the baby and what should I do at this time. I haven't had any symptoms at the moment

Newmama29 · 17/07/2020 22:04

@kaxxz you can take iron tablets 3 times a day. I wouldn’t worry too much about it, one extra dose isn’t going to cause any harm

2020AUG · 17/07/2020 22:07

I'd like to join, I've sent you a PM @squashie34 - thank you.

I'm so behind on this thread, so glad everything went OK with the surgery @firstmummytobe.

Ouch @sel2223, I've no suggestions sorry but if you find something that works, please can you share it! I feel very swollen today after being out in the heat.

NamiSwan · 17/07/2020 22:20

@kaxxz an extra iron dose will be fine, don't worry! I was on 3 a day last year when severely anemic.

kaxxz · 17/07/2020 22:26

Thank you! I was really starting to panic.
