@djmbaker good luck today! Ours was really lovely as we told them we wanted a surprise so we looked away whilst they established the gender. Then we got a confetti cannon and balloon (which they obviously chose as pink/girl) to open at home in private, was great!
If you're going to window to womb they should offer that too x

We asked to be told @djmbaker so they told us there and then.

Though from the scan images on the screen there was no mistaking it was a boy, he had a very prominent penis 😬😬😬😬😬

@Natt99 oh wow that's amazing. I hope my window to the womb offer that... I'm really stressing about how to find out haha.. my partner is so inpatient he says ohh just get them to tell us there and then.. I don't know 😬😬.. I think I'll wait and see what they offer and go from there!! I'm so emotional today, just cried at take that "greatest day" on the radio.. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ahh oh my goodness, congratulations to all of you who have found out. It's so exciting!! I'm loving reading all of your posts. When do you guys have your 20 week scans? I am 18 plus 5 today. Have my 20 week scan on 29th then consultant appt on 4th Aug.

@djmbaker they seemed quite used to it. I think it's also a bit of a money making scheme for them as we bought the whole shebang including a teddy that has baby's heart beat 😂
They do have a good look around at the baby and your health, tell you where your placenta is and baby's position etc so the gender is quite a small part.

@Nic2908 it's so good to finally know. Have you got used to yours being a boy now as you found out quite early? We still keep saying it 🤣
Hopefully our genders will correspond at 20 week scans too! Mine is 4th August.

I saw a group of my friends yesterday for a socially distanced picnic and they couldn't believe I was nearly half way as it just looks like I've had a big meal 🤣

@Nat99 yeah we have got used to it. My husband is one of 7 boys so I figured I was always going to have a boy haha. By the end of the day my bump is pretty big I think. I love it though. I'm loving how my body is changing and protecting our baby, it's incredible that it just knows what to do. Heart beat baby sounds so lovely. I think we might get one of them as a package on a 3d scan I think.

Congrats on all your scans! I still have no desire to find out yet, thought I might be with others now knowing what they're expecting. But I'm so excited to leave it as a surprise.

I'm only just starting to get a bump now, I'm 17 + 3. I doubt people would guess if they didn't know. Probably just think I've eaten a few too many pies 😂 Next scan is 29th so I'll be just under 19 weeks.

Loving hearing what you guys are having ❤️😍 we are still deciding to keep it a surprise for Labour day hahaa. My 20 week scan is the 7th August when I will be 19+4, can't wait. Saw my midwife on Friday and she doesn't think the rules on partners will change in my trust anytime soon so have booked another private one for 4th August which was the soonest I could get!! So will have 2 scans in a week.

Feeling great if not just a little bit fat 🤣 managing to eat really balanced again with a few (a fair few) treats 🤣 and also enjoying exercising daily again with long dog walks, pilates and strengthening sessions.

This really must be the kindest trimester as I feel so healthy! Bump is kind of just fat looking at the moment.

I think I may have felt like a bubble popping sensation at 7am this morning but it quickly stopped so can't decide whether I was hungry or whether it was baby. I'm excited to see what comes next!!

I have a bump now.. everyone keeps saying it's tiny but it feels massive to me! I've started to wear tighter clothes though to show it off a touch! I got these fab stretch skirts from M&S and they make it look really sweet. I have definitely put weight on my hips though!!! That's GOT to be the over dosing on peanut butter sandwiches in my first trimester 😂😂

It’s so lovely hearing about the recent scans and what you’re all having. Hope everyone is feeling good, I’m 17 weeks today and think my sickness is almost gone now. We are planning on finding out at the 20 week scan although I’m tempted with a private scan so my husband can be there too. Has anyone else been referred for a cervix length scan? I’ve got that a few days before my 20 week scan so hoping to get a peek at baby then as well.

@Katbaby I’ve had a similar sort of popping/muscle twitching sensation a couple of times and also cant decide whether it was tummy rumblings or baby but excited to see if it turns into feeling more movement soon

We found out we were having a girl yesterday.

Our 20 week scan is booked for 12th August...do we get any more scans after that?

Think I will book in 4d at around 30 weeks

Very exciting that we are now at this stage of finding out genders and looking forward to 20w scans. We’re still adamant to wait till the birth to find out the sex but I’m so excited to see baby again at 20w scan. Mine is on the 4th August. We still haven’t bought anything for the baby but we’ve ordered wallpaper for the nursery and new carpets (it really needed a new carpet!)

I’m also in the camp of just looking a little podgy! If people didn’t know they definitely wouldn’t know! Still just cutting about in leggings every day!

Lovely news from everyone who has found out the sex so far. We have another week to go!

Still thinking boy - everyone around is having boys too.

Also in that club of just feeling chubby. I’ve put on 11lbs so just feel wide.

Not felt any significant kicks, but definitely feeling some rolls and bubbles!

Had a bit of a hormonal cry before because our local NCT class for December is fully booked. I’ve been offered 10 miles away - but I don’t drive, so don’t want to meet people that I won’t be able to travel to see! Or I’ve been offered a January group, but just really not sure whether to even bother booking one. I just said to DH that I feel like a bad mother already not even getting into the course, but not wanting to go means I won’t make any friends
