@SettyBuarez that's pretty scary. Glad you got seen to and glad you got to hear the heart! How was having the injection? I'm very nervous about having it done at 28 weeks!

Sorry to keep buttinf in ladies just another little update. Scan today showed I'm 5 week and there's a yolk sac, another 're scan in 10 days with hopefully a heartbeat. Just got to get through the next 4ish week's before I'll feel safe. The nursery EPAU said I can have a scan at 9ish weeks if I want coz that's when it all went wrong last time

@emmalily9 Injection was fine but it did sting a bit. Midwife said you can have it in your arm, thigh or bum but the bigger the muscle the less it will hurt. I had it in my thigh and can't even see where she did it!

Had my private gender scan today so that my oh could be there! By far the best scan I've had !

We're having a little girl! Our 3rd girl

I'm starting to feel him move around a little bit now, I have an anterior placenta but it's more to the side than the front so hopefully start to feel kicks sooner, it's a weird feeling though like he's flicking me from inside 😂 17+4 now and I'm so thankful I'm still feeling well, can't believe I'm coming up half way soon.

@rnic1x it's such a lovely feeling isn't it! I had the strongest kick so far this morning and it was amazing ❤️ cannot wait for 20 week scan now! Mines end of July, really hoping partners might be allowed in by then 🤞

Hi all! Hope everyone is sailing through the past week or so :) I’m 17+1 and feel great but not feeling any definite movements yet.

I have a ‘reassurance Scan’ tomorrow to try to find out gender and am very excited for my husband to get to see baby again!

What were the tips people suggested for making the best of scans? I think a sweet drink like a fruit juice, half an hour before the scan? Were there other tips too? Sorry, I would try to find the posts from before but I think it would take hours of scrolling!

@makingababy I ate a sausage bun about an hour and half before 2 bars of chocolate and a bottle of full fat fizzy pop half an hour before and mine was a right wriggle bum, good luck xx

@makingababy I've got my gender reassurance scan on Sunday and they've said, a cold fizzy sugary drink beforehand.. a good sized meal a few hours before.. chocolate bar... go for a quick walk before the scan.. fingers crossed for you 💓

@Nic2908 we’ve only bought a diaper bag. Had planned to wait to 20 week scan but saw this was on sale... might be a tad gimmicky and a permanent sale but they sucked us in! It popped up as an ad on my husband’s instagram 😂

Hey ladies, so today I had my midwife appointment which was lovely and so nostalgic as she was my midwife through pregnancy with the twins. I got to listen to the heart beat and we had a bit of a chit chat. OH still not allowed which was disappointing but we have the gender scan together next Friday.

Also had phone call appointment with the consultant who has given us the choice of elective c-section or vaginal birth and I am just so torn about what to do. I know it’s early days and still have time to decide but there are so many pros and cons with both options that I’m struggling on what’s best

Can’t wait for all the gender reveals! Congratulations to those who have already had gender scans! Time seems to be going so much quicker now! X

@Tink679 My midwife appointment is tomorrow I hope i get to hear the heartbeat! Don't want to get my hopes up in case she doesn't offer it.

Don't really know what to expect I assumed it would just be over the phone but it's in person now

@makingababy mine is tomorrow too! I'm starting to get a little nervous! Everyone (friends and family) seem so convinced it's a boy, not that it matters either way, but they've almost convinced me it's a boy now too. So I may have a small shock if it is a girl, as it's not what we're expecting (of course it will be loved and wanted exactly the same).

I had my midwife appointment today and I had to ask to listen to the heartbeat as they don't advertise it due to sometimes not being able to find it. Gender reveal tomorrow - so sure I'm having a little girl! Can't wait to find out. Sending luck to all of the ladies with their scans tomorrow too!

I had my 16 week app on Wednesday, but just over the phone...not seeing anyone now until 20 addk scan, then 25 weeks for bloods?!

Quick question has anyone found their bump aches? For the first time this evening I've found my bump to be achy and it only feels better if I'm rubbing it
