Kovu · 30/06/2020 07:04

Morning everyone!

How’s everyone feeling today? I’m 5wks today and still only have sore/tender boobs and lots and lots of CM (TMI sorry). No other symptoms to report just yet.

@Hopesandrainbows my fingers are crossed for you! I think your levels are sounding really good though as my HCG was only at 120 the day before my missed period and came back yesterday at 1000 (6 days later) which the doctor said is normal as they are meant to double every 24-36 hrs apparently.

@Solid10 welcome and congratulations! This will be my first baby too! 😀😀

Rainbow1808 · 30/06/2020 07:11

I’m 4 weeks 3 days today and woke up with the tiniest little dot of pinky discharge (sorry) I did only see it because I was looking for it- I’m so paranoid so I’m looking all the time🙄 I’ve read it could be implantation bleed but I thought you got that before a bfp?

Littlebee1990 · 30/06/2020 07:13

@Thedot90 Hope you’re ok this morning?

@Solid10 @kovu I’m 4+3 and also pretty symptomless aside from weeing ALL the time and struggling to sleep. Makes me worry my tests were a fluke 🤣 I’m sure in a few weeks when symptoms come I’ll think to myself back to this point!

Tecalina · 30/06/2020 08:08

@Rainbow1808 If it's only very light pink, I don't think you need to panic. According to the Health Line, 25% of pregnancy women expletive spotting in their first trimester 🙂

@Kovu I'm 5+4 and I've only got sore boobs too! And a slight ache in the abdominals that's feels like I've done 100 sit ups 😂 People I've spoken to have said their symptoms didn't kick in until 6 weeks, so I'm guessing I'll feel a bit worse at the end of the week!

Tecalina · 30/06/2020 08:08

@Thedot90 and @Hopesandrainbows How are you both feeling today?

Thedot90 · 30/06/2020 08:24

No pink on wiping this morning, but have mild cramping feeling since I went to the toilet - I have mild IBS so trying to figure out if it’s my bowels or my uterus!

Wyewaving · 30/06/2020 08:31

@Littlebee1990 I’m 4+3 too, my sleep has been off kilter for a week now so before I had taken a test. I slept properly and all the way to my alarm for the first time last night and I feel much better for it. I hope your sleep returns to normal.

Otherwise I’m bloated and my boobs are a bit sore.

The midwife team here don’t want to hear from me until I’m 6 or 7 weeks along, then I have to send a short questionnaire and a week or so after that I’ll have my booking in appointment over the phone.

BookishEm · 30/06/2020 08:38

Morning all!

Been busy and away for a few days so just trying to catch up. Congrats and welcome to the new baby mamas to be! I’m 5 weeks tomorrow... honestly longest week of my life!
I’ll keep everyone in my thoughts who has some anxieties and worries just now. This early stage is such a delicate time and easy to feel like somethings going wrong. I google things every two seconds!

How is everyone feeling? Other than the constipation still which makes my stomach sore all the time I’ve been fine. A little nauseous two days ago but think that was more because I was at my mother in laws 😂🙈

MayfliesX · 30/06/2020 09:01

Morning everyone and morning @bookishem. I had a stressful week so I disappeared but hope everyone is surviving.
I have zero symptoms which is making me feel anxious (as I miscarried earlier this year). But I do already have a 2 year old, and I had no symptoms at all with her until 8 weeks when i had 5 days of nausea and then nothing again throughout the rest of the pregnancy. So I know symptomless pregnancies are not a cause of concern per se, but it's so hard.
Anyone else symptomless?

Thanks

RoEP2018 · 30/06/2020 09:07

@MayfliesX symptomless today! Have been feeling sick up until now and had stomach cramps but they've all gone. Like you though I had no symptoms with my DD until morning sickness hit me with a bang at week 6 🤣

Hopesandrainbows · 30/06/2020 09:47

I'm actually feeling more relaxed today- probably because I was actually able to FINALLY go to the loo! 🥳 I was worried about pressure on my bum (ectopic etc which I know they haven't ruled out yet) but I think I was just constipated to be honest. I think the blood and cramping I had was implantation as I've had nothing for 2 days in a row 🥳. I know doc said I had good progesterone but HCG needs to be double checked Friday along with scan but I am confident HCG is rising well as line is consistently darker. I haven't dared to a digital (1-2/2-3 week) test yet 😅. So I'm hoping all is good! I think if I was having an ectopic, I would continue to bleed and be in more pain 🤷🏻‍♀️. Constipation is a nightmare though- prune juice and hot lemon water did the trick more me... 🙈

Tecalina · 30/06/2020 10:13

It sounds like we're all a little more positive this morning, which is really lovely to see 🙂

Tecalina · 30/06/2020 10:14

@MayfliesX I'm pretty much symptomless too. Achey boobs and serious bloat, but nothing major! I'll be 6 weeks on Friday, so preparing for more!

Dylansophia1 · 30/06/2020 10:34

@Hopesandrainbows that's exactly how i feel, i have no pain and no bleeding, just that gush yesterday which was one wipe. So holding on to hope. Xxx

Hopesandrainbows · 30/06/2020 10:42

@Dylansophia1 Hope is what I always hold onto! I have only slightly off coloured discharge (sorry if pic is gross!) but maybe it's just hormones and blood moving around etc. Xx

Due March 2021
Dylansophia1 · 30/06/2020 10:55

@Hopesandrainbows that's what i had for 2 days then got a bit darker, old blood, then the red blood yesterday morningg when wiping, but nothing since and no pain. Back in tomorrow to see if hcg levels are doubling. 🤞🏼 Xxxxx

Littlebee1990 · 30/06/2020 10:57

I’ve also got faint blood when I wipe today, AF is due today but I had 2 BFP last week, I am petrified. 😭

Tecalina · 30/06/2020 10:59

Oh no! I spoke too soon 🤦🏼‍♀️ I really hope the spotting is just your bodies waking up to the change that's going on. Fingers crossed for you ladies 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Littlebee1990 · 30/06/2020 10:59

Sorry if photo is gross.. I’m so worried it’s the start of AF even though I had 2 positive tests.. one FRER and one digital 😭

Hopesandrainbows · 30/06/2020 11:39

Just had appointment with gynaecologist for a different reason and she did a swab and couldn't see any blood. I showed her the picture and she just said it is probably when I go for a number 2 it's just old blood coming out and probably nothing to worry about. Hopefully that gives reassurance to some of you too x

BookishEm · 30/06/2020 11:45

@Littlebee1990 sorry to hear you’ve got this worry. I think a little blood is quite normal and nothing will be wrong so will keep my fingers crossed for you but I’m sure it will be fine!

Has anyone started to have a wee think about work, covid and pregnancy? I’m a teacher so on my summer holidays just now (schools break in June in Scotland) and go back August when I’m 11 weeks. I think the guidance just now is pregnant women should stop working at 22 weeks? Or is it 26? Somewhere around there because of the current situation. I am starting to feel a bit nervous about it. If I worked in an office then I might be able to adhere to social distancing more than in a primary school but I imagine those who are in offices will have there own worries about that too. What are we all thinking?

BookishEm · 30/06/2020 11:47

Just checked and it’s 28 weeks

Littlebee1990 · 30/06/2020 11:48

Ahh it’s proper blood now like a period 😭

BookishEm · 30/06/2020 11:50

@littlebee1990 oh no! You should call a midwife or doctors if you can? I’ve been on Tommy’s website and that’s the advice that they have.
