Has anyone tried the sickness acupressure bands?

I am desperately looking for something for the nausea. It's killing me 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Ladies we have finally exchanged on our new house and we are moving in 10 days time ... when I will be 36 weeks .

The move last weekend almost killed me, I spent practically all weekend in tears and I really over did it so have been in pain all week! Knowing we had to move only to have to move again in 2 weeks time is so frustrating but I’ve promised myself I’m being very hands off next time as I can’t put myself through it again, I could barely walk by the end of the weekend!

@SunnySideUp2020 Yep I used the bands! I didn’t take them off (except to shower) for 2 months 🤣 To be honest, I still felt super sick with them on BUT they did take a slight edge off! I had a bath one night and really felt the difference from not having them on for a while, I felt SO much worse! Could have been all in my head, but I didn’t care 😆 I’d deffo give them a go, they’re not expensive so worth a try to see if they work for you.

Next growth scan currently booked for 39 weeks... If he's still a chunk then, a plan will be made 😬
Glucose test today was vile... I felt so poorly after I got home, not sure if it was sugar crash or what! Ended up in bed having a nap this afternoon as I felt so naff! Hopefully the results will be clear 🤞

Same here for the sickness bands, I still felt sick but they took a lot of the edge off for me. I left them off one day and felt so significantly worse it was unreal! And like @TerribleImagination says, they are cheap so worth a go.

Gosh that's exciting @MrsB16 congratulations!! Make sure you let everyone else do the hard work though. It will be tough but you'll be so pleased to have it all done and sorted before baby comes! What an exciting few weeks you have coming up

@SunnySideUp2020 I’ve just dug out my sickness bands yesterday and so far I think they’re helping a little bit. Still feel sick but it’s a bit more bearable. I had a couple of days last week where I could barely get off the sofa 😖 so definitely worth a try!
I had my scan on Friday which went well- no heartbeat yet but everything else was visible for a 5-6 week pregnancy so they weren’t concerned and will rescan me in a couple of weeks.
Good luck for the move @MrsB16! Make sure you just delegate and don’t do too much yourself! Will be great when you’re in in time for the baby 👏🏻

@Ejb86 i don't have facebook. But maybe when i am further along i might put something on Instagram ( i only have my close friends and family there). Maybe not...
I think fb announcements are cute though especially where there is a scan pic. I am just not a social media person 😁

@AlviesMam yeah. I think I want to include my girls in it somehow, but not sure how. My due dates with this one pretty much match theirs, so it feels like they sent it for us.

@Ejb86 I haven’t mentioned it on social media yet, I think I’ll just pop a pic with DP and bump after the 20 week scan. I’m deffo cautious about announcing on social media, as pregnancy announcements were such a big trigger for me after the MC. I do want to share the joy of this pregnancy, but I’ll be including some rainbow baby references, so anyone struggling will know it’s not been straight forward.

You al inspired me to do a bump photo so I have finally done a bump photo, it’s the first time in 35 weeks!

Starting to feel a little excited now!

@SunnySideUp2020 that's so strange about the bands having to be on prescription! I used them pregnancy before MC but didn't find they did much for me. Have lost them somewhere so haven't bothered going searching for them. Probably should tho as the nausea is a killer, coupled with the exhaustion😩

@Ejb86 is your scan tomorrow? Do you plan on doing a FB announcement after?

Lovely bump @MrsB16. Are you really uncomfortable now? I'm so uncomfortable when 'relaxing' at night. I don't remember being like this with DS! When this baby moves late on the day it's such an uncomfortable feeling.

@AlviesMam I'll pack my bag when I go on maternity leave which is 3 weeks on Thursday. All our baby stuff is in the loft so can't do it before then. I did the same last time too.

@Ejb86 I didn't put anything on Facebook but are you on Pinterest? They always have good ideas I find.
