It was just a local private one that I found on the internet and I also got it as a groupon and @MilsCookie I had a similar 'telling off' on the phone to EPU from the nurse saying they don't trust the private scanners and usually they don't accept a self referral after being at one but because I had been their patient previously they let me book in.
You could just about see a little flicker every now and again but she never actually said the words heart beat. It's just so frustrating. I'm just going to keep busy tomorrow and hope for the best in Monday the thing is I've been feeling like crap, nauseous, exhausted, sore boobs, waking up at daft times in the night. I just don't want it to be all for nothing. Sorry for the rant I'm just feeling mega deflated. Xxx

I totally get how you're feeling @Ljm0101... I too am scared that it has 'all been for nothing' but all we can do is wait. It's painful, especially after everything we've already been through. At least your scan isn't too far away. I imagine they will probably want to rescan you in another week too to see how things are progressing. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you xxxxxxx

26 weeks on Monday and feel like a baby seal trying to turn over in bed 🙈 and can start to feel the weight of baby now... pubic bone also hurts mainly on a night and restless legs have started.
Started to see baby kick from the outside now but she's quitened down again now (anterior placenta) but so grateful I got to capture the jerky movements in video ☺️
Growth scan in two weeks, I have that on my mind now!! But midwife said i have grown lots in two weeks and everything feels in place as it should! .....when have you all started to feel the weight of the baby making it difficult to turn over and get up off the sofa? I feel like these feelings were felt more in the third trimester?!

@AlviesMam I've felt like a baby seal for about two weeks now 🤣 the extra weight is already affecting my movements and how I turn over in bed/get off the sofa - god knows what I'll be like the further I get!! That's brilliant you saw kicks from the outside! How lovely 🥰

Ahhh @Ljm0101 sorry tou didn't have the experience you wanted. They change so much in the early days though so please don't worry too much, especially as you aren't having any other signs things have gone wrong. Tomorrow will be here before you know it, these early weeks are so hard as all you can do is wait! We will all keep our fingers crossed.

Baby seal is accurate for me too, I have stayed very active and still working out etc but at certain times I am so slow and puffing like a 99 year old smoker! I put new bedsheets on last night and that about killed me! Turning over in the night is an effort too. Your body is doing a lot, and you have loads more blood pumping round so i think its normal @AlviesMam. Great about the kicks, my DH is still waiting to feel them and is really keen now! I can't wait to see them!

We've been feeling and seeing kicks from the outside for a few weeks now. This week I've been able to see him rolling, squirming about... It's a bit weird!!
I love the kicks, I'm addicted, I just want to feel them constantly!! 😂Anterior placenta means I still have some days with no movement at all though which is causing stress.
@AlviesMam I've got a growth scan in 2 weeks as well, consultant requested one but I don't know why!

I really want a 3d scan because I just want to see what he looks like! Does anyone know what week is the best for one? X

Gender scan went well! We’re having a little... GIRL! 🥰🥰🥰 We’d have been made up either way, but I secretly was hoping for girl, I just had a feeling! ❤️

She was a little wriggle bum AGAIN! Kept crossing her legs haha! The sonographer said she was her naughty baby for the day, cos it took ages to see the sex 🤣 DP was blown away being able to see something baby like on the screen, compared to the 8 week!

Hi everyone... I’m new and I need some help 😞
My husband and I haven been trying for 2 years. We finally had IVF July 5th and I had a positive hcg on July 15th. Then July 22nd I noticed brown spotting and some blood🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉
So I can’t the clinic and they had my go in for blood work. My hcg levels had gone up to 711..then they had me go in two days later and my hcg was at 985 and they also did a ultrasound and told me that there was no sack 😞
Now I’m going in tomorrow for another blood work and ultrasound and to speak with the doctor.. I hear that I have had a miscarriage. My swore breast have disappeared today...
I’m in a really bad situation and I want to have hope but I feel as if I’m lying to myself too.
Has anyone experienced something like this..
