Sorry to hear of your situation @Aydin I have not experienced that either. Good luck in your scan.

@TerribleImagination wow a baby girl! Congratulations. 💕

We are having a 3D scan on Thursday and I'll be just shy of 32 weeks. I'm excited but as always a bit apprehensive.

I have done my best to prepare myself for the worst. But in my heart I still want to have hope..
🙏🙏

Whiffle77 · 27/07/2020 12:20

Good luck today @Ljm0101 I hope things go OK.

That is exciting @BecsterG you'll have to show us a pic! The 3d ones I've seen on here recently look a lot better than they used to.

Ljm0101 · 27/07/2020 12:35

Hey Ladies,

They couldn’t find a heartbeat and I’m still measuring at 6 weeks (5mm) they said they should be able to see one at this point but 7mm is the guidelines so i’ve got to go back for a rescan after 10 days. But the nurse said her gut instinct is that the baby has stopped growing 😞. As you can imagine Myself and DH are absolutely beside ourselves, I'm trying to see that glimmer of hope but the tears just taking over. Thank you all for your messages of support. Xxx

TerribleImagination · 27/07/2020 12:45

@Ljm0101 I’m so so sorry to hear that lovey, that’s so unfair 💔 Sending all the love to you and DH xxx

Whiffle77 · 27/07/2020 13:03

I'm so sorry @Ljm0101 what an awful waiting game now. I will still keep my fingers crossed for you, please take care of yourself and try and keep yourself busy if possible to stop yourself mulling on it - but I know that's impossible. Sending you lots of love and positive thoughts xxx

Leok83 · 27/07/2020 13:12

Oh no @Ljm0101 I'm so sorry to hear that. You both must be so devastated💔. Big hugs.xx

Zoey36 · 27/07/2020 14:01

@Ljm0101 I'm so sorry that it wasn't news you needed. I also had that wait of no heartbeat but less than 7mm. It was horrible. I'm sending you so much love and strength xxxx

SunnySideUp2020 · 27/07/2020 14:08

Oh no @Ljm0101
I am so sorry to read your update. This is so unfair. Sending lots of virtual hugs 💕

I have decided to joint the group.
AF due Wednesday and i am 13 dpo but i just (again) took a test and it's really positive...
I got worried it's progressing too fast. It wasn't fmu. And it's not an early test.
Someone tells me i am just being ridiculous?!

@SunnySideUp2020 That’s amazing! And welcome officially, woohoo! I wouldn’t worry about a strong line lovey, for 13DPO that’s pretty normal I’d say! It really varies person to person. Enjoy your BFP lovey ❤️❤️

SunnySideUp2020 · 27/07/2020 15:01

Thanks @TerribleImagination
Glad you say it's normal. I guess i looked at too much squinter on here and forgot that most of the time lines are that obvious before AF. 😅
(Although DP still googled about molar pregnancy)

I will try to chill 😄

MrsB16 · 27/07/2020 15:27

I’m really sorry @Ljm0101. Please take care of yourself xx

MrsB16 · 27/07/2020 15:32

I went for a routine 32 week appointment this morning and ended up having to have an emergency growth scan as she had fallen behind on the chart and pre-eclampsia assessment as BP was sky high and my pulse was through the roof. Spent an hour hooked up to the monitor and my readings came down but have to be checked every 2 weeks now. The growth scan went well and she was in the 50th percentile but already weights 4lbs 9oz at 32 weeks! My poor husband was beside himself as he couldn’t come with me and was just imagining the worst. I always knew a rainbow pregnancy was going to be anxious but I’m starting feel very anxious now and my husband is enforcing bed rest which is not ideal given we are moving house in 10 days!

TerribleImagination · 27/07/2020 16:36

@SunnySideUp2020 Aww bless you! If it helps, my friend had a molar pregnancy and she said (before she knew it was that) she felt like had cancer! It was her first pregnancy, so she didn’t have any comparison for symptoms, but that was how she described how ill she felt. She’s also a midwife and had to google all about it, because it’s that rare she’d never known anyone to have one. I think since as well, she’s only treated one woman with a previous molar and she’s been a midwife for nearly 10 years. Your strong line is much much more likely to be a healthy, progressing normal pregnancy 😍😍

SunnySideUp2020 · 27/07/2020 16:51

@TerribleImagination
Thank you for sharing your friend's story. It is very reassuring.
😘

MilsCookie · 27/07/2020 17:35

Oh @Ljm0101 I am so so sorry. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and like someone else said, try to keep yourself busy for the next 10 days. I'd also maybe even see if they can see you after 7, rather than 10. The waiting is the hardest part. Sending you and your DP lots of love xxx 😘

BecsterG · 27/07/2020 17:38

So sorry to hear your update @Ljm0101 it's going to be a tough 10 days but as other have said try and keep yourself as busy as you can. Life can be so cruel.

@SunnySideUp2020 that's an amazing BFP. I was a serial POAS person! I can't tell you how many I did to 'make sure' I was pregnant! Crazy when I look back now how much money I spent.

MilsCookie · 27/07/2020 17:39

@SunnySideUp2020 hey lovely - so happy you're joining us! I know how normal it is to be worrying about every little thing now you've finally got that BFP but do try to relax and enjoy it! The odds are always in our favour and last time we were just unlucky. Focus on the fact you ARE now pregnant. Break the next few weeks up into little milestones - I found that helped me. I 'treated' myself to a clear blue digi (the one with the weeks) at 6 weeks (and got the 3+ sign) and had a scan at 8 weeks. Then I had my booking appt over the phone between 8-9 weeks my 12 week scan was scheduled for 11+2, so all those little things helped to break up the time before the 12 week scan. Are you planning on coming back to the UK soon? Xx

@MrsB16 oh my goodness how scary! Try to take it as easy as possible although I know how anxious you must be. 50th centile is really good and, even if she came now, she'd do really well at that weight!! I know for a fact if my little ones make it, they'll be coming before 34 weeks - and I'm just hoping we can at least make it to 32 weeks! I'm sure your little one will stay in for much longer but hopefully it reassures you that lots of babies are born before full term and do really well. How exciting you're moving house in 10 days - try to have little rests in between packing etc 😊 xx

BecsterG · 27/07/2020 17:40

@MrsB16 what a stressful day you've had. I hope you're relaxing as much as you can now. When do you plan to finish for Mat leave? You are due about 5 days ahead of me I think. I've my 32 week appointment on Monday.

OP posts:
SunnySideUp2020 · 27/07/2020 17:48

@MilsCookie you are right i should do the same. Get a digi for 6 weeks and then will have to get an 8 week scan in Reunion island where i am going on friday (if my covid test is negative) - where my mum lives. And then will be back to DPs parents in Europe and wiĺl try to get a scan at the fertility clinic where we had our tests done for 11 weeks or so. Unfortunately given that we are not settled anywhere i won't be having a proper follow-up with a midwife.

@BecsterG
glad to know i am not the only one 😬
