@Bubbabee yes I have struggled with it for awhile. Seems to get worse in the evening. It can sometimes be painful in my stomach until it is released (sorry tmi)
Apparently result of too much progesterone and another pregnancy perk

Bubbabee · 19/06/2020 12:36

@Baba11 yeah my tummy is very very sore. I did read google 🙈 and it said that. I'm just panicking all isn't ok with baby due to pain 😔

MilsCookie · 19/06/2020 12:54

Hey ladies, hope everyone is doing well 💕

@Bubbabee yes I've been struggling with this on and off - I found mint tea helps and doing the cat/cow yoga pose to try and release the gas! 💨🙊

Little update from me... had my scan today and my twinnies are both doing well measuring 11+4 with 4th Jan due date (although likely to come before!) they also found they're in separate amniotic sacs so they're in fact MCDA not MCMA (same sac) which I'm SO relieved about as it means they're less risky! Still high risk pregnancy as they share the placenta but no risk of cord entanglement now 😅. Got to watch them moving about on the screen which was the most magical thing I've ever seen!! 😍🤩 they are my rainbow babies as well after a mmc last year so I'm just so so relieved right now.

Here they are...

@MilsCookie how absolutely beautiful. Look so healthy and big. You must be so relieved. Will you be having regular scans now?
Are the babies side by side or on top of each other? I'm so excited for u

Bubbabee · 19/06/2020 14:53

@MilsCookie oh my gosh how beautiful. Same due date as me 😍..
My twins were In same sac and their own placenta it's an amazing thing. So happy for you xx

MilsCookie · 19/06/2020 15:02

Thank you both @Baba11 and @Bubbabee. They were on top of each other haha.

Ahhh Bubbabee I didn't realise you had twins! So are yours identical then? How was that pregnancy? Love that we have the same due date! Did your twins come a lot earlier?

Wineandrun · 19/06/2020 15:19

@Milscookie gorgeous photos, congratulations!

I thought I was feeling better today until I just threw up in the bushes whilst doing the school run 🤢 I have to eat every two hours in the dot, I feel like a newborn baby!!

8+1 looooooong weeks..... it’s dragging so much.....

MayBug2020 · 19/06/2020 15:32

It is so lovely to start seeing the scan pictures coming in for those who are due early Jan. I have my bloods on 28th and scan on 8th July - seems like the weeks are just dragging now. Xx

Bubbabee · 19/06/2020 15:57

@MilsCookie yeah I was pregnant in 2013. MMC. Sorry I shouldn't of said anything I don't want to put a downer on your news it's just so nice to have somebody who was given the amazing gift like me 😍. Mine were a massive risk with sharing placenta. Scan is perfect 😍

Bubbabee · 19/06/2020 15:57

@MilsCookie yeah identical too. I know so exciting we have same due date xx

StephS1984 · 19/06/2020 16:02

Hi everyone

I’ve now had my letter for my nhs scan on 3rd July at 13 weeks. Today, I got another letter in the post to say I have a consultant antenatal appointment at 14 weeks . Does anyone else have this type of appointment. It didn’t mention why I have this appointment, but there are a few things that might make me a higher risk :

  • over 35
  • mmc in January
  • my sister had a bleed on brain recently

Apart from them, I have no clue and don’t know what to information to bring to it.

Bubbabee · 19/06/2020 16:05

@StephS1984 I'd maybe say with your recent MMC. Was anything mentioned at your booking appointment?

StephS1984 · 19/06/2020 16:25

@Bubbabee. My booking appointment, the midwife said I was low risk. I’ll just think of it as lucky to get an extra appointment and it’s face to face rather than WhatsApp, so they can do more checks.

Bubbabee · 19/06/2020 16:35

@StephS1984 yeah either way they are keeping an eye on you x

Haven't been on for a little while as I've finally started to feel more like myself!
I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and my 12 week scan will be on the 10th July.

These past few days I've really started to feel more human, nausea has reduced to mainly in the mornings and though I am knackered throughout the day, I'm managing not to nap and I take myself off to bed at 9. I'm usually asleep within 10 minutes!

I'm managing to eat warm meals and more (a lot more) of what I ate before I was full of sickness! I'm also really loving melon at the moment and celery dipped in houmous, I guess there's worse things to crave! In short, I'm starving all the time.

Newer symptoms are a very full feeling in my lower tummy, lots of night time toilet trips and my uterus has started to pop up from my pelvis a little bit which means I can sort of feel the stiffness of the uterine wall.

Hope everyone is okay! Lovely to see all the beautiful scan pics coming in!

BabyG123 · 19/06/2020 18:22

Thanks @Wineandrun!!

@Bubbabee ahhh I'm so sorry to hear about your mmc. How far were you? I had one at 12 weeks in November...was awful.

@nmw93 glad to hear you are feeling better. I am 9+2 and sickness seems different - still off my food but being sick a big more due to phlegm and needing to gag all the time. :(

Is anyone else worried about their 12 week scan And having bad news? Mine isn’t until 8th July and every now and then I think oh don’t get too excited in case something is wrong....I know I should be positive but the thought creeps in every now and then xx

Wineandrun · 19/06/2020 20:14

@Maybug2020 i hear you! I feel like I’ve been so lucky up to now, two pregnancies and two children, I don’t know many people who haven’t had a MC sadly so i am struggling to be excited. Although I did get an overwhelming moment of excitement earlier, I was giving my little boy a massive cuddle and suddenly had an image of a tiny baby in my arms, I love babies!!!!

Bubbabee · 19/06/2020 20:24

@MilsCookie I was 15weeks they had made knots with their cords. So sorry I mentioned it I feel bad ☹️. Hope you don't think bad of me.

@BabyG123 what times your scan? So exciting xx

Bubbabee · 19/06/2020 20:25

@BabyG123 I've had afew peppermint teas today and it's eased but now got headache.. 🙄🤰🏼

Bubbabee · 19/06/2020 20:27

@Wineandrun that's a lovely thought. I'm sure everything will be just fine. I saw my baby Tuesday and still panicking. Being a woman is living your life anxious xx

MilsCookie · 19/06/2020 20:28

Aww thank you for the lovely words @babyboom1990 !! I do feel very blessed to be having identical twins 🥰

Of course I don't think bad of you @bubbabee. I know mine are still at risk of ttts (twin-twin transfusion syndrome) because they share the placenta, but as they're MCDA twins (not MCMA like I thought) there's no risk of cord entanglement as they're each in their own amniotic sac. So we'll see what happens. Luckily I'll be closely monitored due to them being high risk so hopefully things will all be okay 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

MilsCookie · 19/06/2020 20:29

Thanks @BabyG123 😘 good luck for your scan tomorrow, looking forward to seeing the photos!
