@nmw93 and @MayBug2020 thank you so much ladies. it is so reassuring, especially when you can't talk to people that you would normally.

@IshaPoet - most of my booking appointment next week is on the phone, and then i need to pop in to the surgery to get bloods etc done later that day.

@Hopefulmummie so sorry to hear that. xxx

IshaPoet · 17/06/2020 09:31

@MeganC104 same babe I'm in Essex and King George's hospital said you can only one person with you for the scan. I think it varies from hospital to hospital. Hopefully they can make some allowances to allow your partner to come in with you

IshaPoet · 17/06/2020 09:33

@Hopefulmummie hope your ok and resting now babe 💙💜❤️

BabyG123 · 17/06/2020 09:45

Scan wise no partner allowed for me.

For this reason I've booked a private scan Saturday even though my nhs is next week so the first scan is with my husband

Anyone who's 2nd+ baby this is. My hubby said I'm starting to look pregnant. I replied with fatter? 🤣

He said no bumpy I was only pregnant last year so I know it can happen earlier

I'm really hoping dh can come to my scan in a week's time, I'll need him if the news isn't good and if it is, is love for him to see baby with me. I do understand the need for precautions though. I'm planning on ringing the day before and asking what the policy is. No point asking too far I'm advance as it will surely change!

Not feeling too great today. Had a bit more blood and have just a nonspecific discomfort in my lower abdomen that I'm trying to reassure myself is intestinal. I also have a weird pain in my groin, right where my leg meets the mons pubis (is that the right term? The bit where the hair grows Blush ). Could it be ligament pain?

On a happier note, going to a socially distanced pizza party (pizza each, no sharing) tonight at in-laws. Power nap before it and I should be able to enjoy it and be distracted :)

10+4, seven days to go for scan

BabyG123 · 17/06/2020 10:40

@CoalCraft could you sneak a private scan in before like me to ensure husband there?

Omg I'm a little jealous of your
Pizza party 🤣🤪

@Ishapoet omg that's the hospital I'm going too ! Are you allowed someone? They told me I'm not allowed anyone at the scan :(

Ivoryjane · 17/06/2020 12:55

Hi ladies,
Sorry have been lurking but not posting- feeling so sick still. Just nauseous and sick feeling in tummy. I hoped by now to be feeling a little better. I don't remember being this bad last time round but then again I am at home full time with a 20 month old so it's full on. I am 11+2 and have my 12 week scan on Monday- will be exactly 12 weeks! Can't bring my DH though so that's a bit disappointing. Hoping to be able to facetime him though so that he can at least hear heartbeat FX.
Hope everyone doing ok. It's tough going so take it easy on yourselves.

@Hopefulmummie thinking of you and glad you got home. Sorry its dragging on for you. Hope you are being well looked after xx

Hopefulmummie · 17/06/2020 13:15

Thank you all

I'm currently on the way down to hospital again as I woke up with shoulder pain it did just feel like I had slept funny but as day goes on its sore and worse when I breathe in. They told me yesterday when they discharged me to come straight down if I experienced this as it's a sign of tube rupturing. I rang maternity and they said to come down. Hoping it's nothing

IshaPoet · 17/06/2020 13:40

@Hopefulmummie that's sounds painful honey, I'm praying for you babe🥺🙏🏽 we're here for you when you get a chance to talk 💜💙❤️

MayBug2020 · 17/06/2020 13:41

@Hopefulmummie hope you are ok xx

BabyG123 · 17/06/2020 15:40

Baba11 · 17/06/2020 15:57

@BabyG123 it's my third and yes I look like I'm 5 months pregnant. I have looked massive since 6 weeks, so hiding it has been difficult but lockdown has helped.

BabyG123 · 17/06/2020 17:11

@Baba11 thank god. I feel the exact same. Just had to order lots of Baggy summer Dresses!

OP posts:
Baba11 · 17/06/2020 17:49

@BabyG123 I have had to do the same
OH was looks oh your big! Blush

Wineandrun · 17/06/2020 17:54

@BabyG123 @Baba11 same here, 8 weeks but definitely got a tummy! I’m quite slim normally but I’m rapidly expanding 🤣

Grumpy19 · 17/06/2020 19:07

@Hopefulmummie hope you are ok.Flowers

My hospital wont allow anyone else with me to the scan and the letter says no phone/ video calls allowed either.

I am definitely finding it harder to fit into my jeans but this is DC4. I don't want to tell people till I have the screening results back but people really will think I've let myself go if I continue to grow at this rate!

8 +6

MayBug2020 · 17/06/2020 19:48

@Grumpy19 blame it on lockdown that’s what I am doing. Also the tiredness I am blaming on not sleeping very well - hard keeping up haha

How is everyone else feeling today?

9 weeks

MayBug2020 · 17/06/2020 19:49

Also is anyone from the Surrey area? X

BabyG123 · 17/06/2020 20:24

BabyG123 · 18/06/2020 07:37

Honestly why do we do it to ourselves.
Don't you hate gagging to be sick but having nothing in you?

Serious ab work out here

OP posts:
MayBug2020 · 18/06/2020 08:09

@BabyG123 I feel you I was doing exactly the same this morning at about 7am. Also feel a little light headed this morning.
I am trying not to google as much but it’s hard when it’s your first and you want to know what’s normal xx
