@MayBug2020 yeah, I don't even have work at the moment (furlough) so I really feel for you. I just want to sleep all the time x

MayBug2020 · 15/06/2020 16:58

@Pol96 how are you staying awake or are you napping lots lol xx

Pol96 · 15/06/2020 17:03

@MayBug2020 well I'm not really getting out bed till 12 😅 and then after doing some bits around the house/walk etc I'm basically half asleep on the sofa.. I did my booking appointment whilst still in bed 😂 I honestly don't know how you're managing work, I'd be so much worse (work in a preschool so would be very busy all day)

lilypad88 · 15/06/2020 18:07

Thank you ladies 🥰 so relieved yes..

@Carabu1 thinking of you! Hope it's all good news for you too! X

Sunshinedahlia · 15/06/2020 18:19

So happy your scan went well @lilypad88! All good with mine too. Baby is 7w+5, so bang on what I thought.

@Sunshinedahlia awww 😍

lilypad88 · 15/06/2020 18:59

@Sunshinedahlia aww sweet! 😍

Carabu1 · 15/06/2020 19:05

@lilypad88 and @Sunshinedahlia congratulations! Lovely news!

Just back from my scan, and baby has had a bit of a growth spurt and is now measuring 12 weeks! (Lmp says 11+4). Waving its little arms and legs around, so weird. Can’t wait now til nhs scan a week today and finally being able to tell friends and family!

So no-symptom ladies don’t panic! I was seriously freaking out last week that even my boobs had gone back to normal, but clearly it’s all fine. Phew.

Bubbabee · 15/06/2020 19:11

@Carabu1 aww lovely news 😍

Pol96 · 15/06/2020 19:19

@Carabu1 that's great! And very reassuring!

Sunshinedahlia · 15/06/2020 19:26

Happy for you @Carabu1! Waving arms- wow!

lilypad88 · 15/06/2020 19:36

@Carabu1 aw amazing! 🥰 you must be so excited now to tell everyone! I can't wait too already haha

Yea the lady said to me the symptoms change with the hcg fluctuations in the first trimester, it's reassuring :)

Baba11 · 15/06/2020 19:48

@Carabu1 glad the scan went well. That must feel so re assuring to know you have passed the 12 week milestone

Baba11 · 15/06/2020 19:49

Wineandrun · 15/06/2020 20:18

@Carabu1 and @Sunshinedahlia congratulations on your scans :)

I’ve been signed off work for a week by the doctor today, such a relief to have a break, just the kids to worry about now!

BabyG123 · 15/06/2020 20:36

I'm confused
Do we go by ovulation or date of lmp?

MilsCookie · 15/06/2020 21:09

@Baba11 I've been going by LMP but minus 3 days because I know I ovulated on CD17 (rather than the 'usual' CD14 of a 28 day cycle). So by LMP I would be 11+1 but I'm actually 10+5 by ovulation. When I went for an early scan I should've been 8+3 by LMP but my babies (twins!) measured bang on 8 weeks, which is what I thought. Hope that helps ☺️

catnip99 · 15/06/2020 21:13

Hi all! 12+2

Really tired lately and anxiety through the roof 🥴

Baba11 · 15/06/2020 21:16

@MilsCookie thanks chick. I know I ovulated on cd14 do I do go by the lmp date

Still so excited that your having twins. I kept having dreams and visions they would see twins on my scan. Wishful thinking. I am blessed

MilsCookie · 15/06/2020 21:21

Awww thanks lovely @Baba11 ! I still don't really quite believe there's two in there 🙈😂 sorry can't remember, have you had any scans yet? Xx

lilypad88 · 15/06/2020 21:37

@Baba11 I count from my ovulation date cause my cycles are irregular... it varies between 25-34days so didn't make sense for me to count from LMP... so if you have regular cycles doesn't matter if you count from lmp or ovulation.

I actually found it a little bit annoying that the midwife kept insisting using lmp because I KNOW my ovulation date for sure 😆 I was charting bbt + using opk... And in the end it's measuring dead on the dot by my ovulation date... lmp only makes sense for people with regular cycles..

lilypad88 · 15/06/2020 21:40

@Baba11 correcting myself... you should count from your ovulation if you know it doesn't happen 14 days after your period (in my case I ovulated 3 weeks after my period), if that makes sense xD

BabyG123 · 15/06/2020 21:48

@Baba11 I know I ovulated at cd23 rather than the average cd14 as my average cycles are 36 days so it's a big difference for me

@Baba11 I’ve been counting from LMP as midwife does it from then, but I know when I ovulated and my early scan matched up with that date. It’s only 4 days behind my LMP date, so it doesn’t make too much difference. I just decided to stick to that until the dating scan.
