Hey ladies nearly out of room so new thread 😘

Hi all,

I had the first part of my booking appointment today. The midwife took my blood, did blood pressure, took urine sample and did height and weight measurements. I was given my pack and she said they will call in over 2 weeks to complete the booking appointment over the phone. After that they will book a dating scan and she said they normally try to do them for 12+6.

Currently 7+5

@lilypad88 hope you are ok. I have had lots of period type pains over the last couple of weeks and I'm telling myself it's ligament stretching. I remember it from the last pregnancies but can't wait for my 12 week scan.

@Charbead49 I had mine yesterday over the phone then went to adau to have bloods-blood pressure done

@BabyG123 oh my gosh I'm such a nightmare for moods! Some days (especially today) when I've had a nap I'm so moody everything/one annoys the crap out of me. I'm crazy.

@Grumpy19 yea I hope it's just that honestly... I've been lucky so far, I haven't had cramps, just light pulling/stretching feeling. Just gonna have to be patient until my scan...

My friend just invited me over for a bbq on sunday, haven't seen her since the lockdown, so I'm probably gonna have to go, but she'll find that suspicious that I don't drink, 1000%!! What do you guys tell as an excuse??

@BabyG123 hope you're okay lovely. I know how worrying this can be. I had spotting on and off for a day at 6+2 and called my EPAU cos I was terrified (due to my previous mmc) and thankfully they booked me in for the next day. All was fine and that's when I found it was twins!! Since then I haven't had anything else and I'm 10+2 now. I know it's hard but try not to worry, it's really common and doesn't always mean something bad. Take care this weekend and try to stay distracted 😘 x

@MilsCookie thank you. From 2dpo of nausea I've said I bet it's twins. Wouldn't that be a coincidence 🤞🏼

I'm looking at it as a positive hat it was literally 2 weeks of wiping and nothing since 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Charbead49 I had my booking appointment On Wednesday over the phone however I have an appt with midwife to take bloods next week. Hope that helps but might differ

Wow sickness is back with a vengeance and my other half has eaten my ginger biscuits 😫

@BabyG123 how many weeks are you now? Oh wow that would be a coincidence if it was twins too! 😍 could anything have irritated your cervix in the last few days? I'd been using thrush pessaries so I wondered if that had caused mine 🤷‍♀️. But it did just seem to be one of those things! Xx

Hmm, I've had booking appointments over the phone but not had any bloods taken or blood pressure checked. No one's mentioned these things to me. Is that unusual?

@lilypad88 I had quite a lot of cramping at 8ish weeks - I think/hope it was just stretching. Didn’t hurt exactly, mire just uncomfortable.

Feeling so much more energetic today than past few weeks - is it weird that’s making me worried?! Even if it is nice to get through a film without falling asleep!

@CoalCraft - I think they’ll do them at 12 week scan - or that’s easy so was told at phone booking appt anyway.

Never thought still feeling super sick would be a positive but I was up until 2 feeling awful and feel worse now! 🤪🤢

@Carabu1 you're probably starting to get passed the hardest of the first trimester sickness :) eventually you'll feel better or it would be a veryyyy long 9 months... 😅

My cramping have gone now but still feeling rough... and hungry!! I do not understand my body atm, its driving me bananas!... If I don't eat I feel sick, if I eat I feel sick... 🤨

Just joining this as had my scan yesterday and due 22nd January. So excited and feel like I can relax a little now I’ve heard a heartbeat 🥰 (had a miscarriage in March)

Has anyone done the Sneek Peak test?

We had our results at 1am on Friday morning (didn't sleep at all for the rest of the night!! Why did I decide to look at the phone then ?!) and took me a whole day to process! We are having a baby girl :) the clinic said they have never had one wrong so I think it's pretty accurate! It feels a little weird unexpectedly as it is all much more real. This is our first after two MMC. And I am now imagining little girl growing up in the house and how she will be etc.

I always so myself as mum to a boy so it was a huge surprise but I think it is lovely and I already feel this huge connection with her

I second all comments around anxiety. We have had three private scans so far. It's so reassuring and also just lovely to see that little heart beat. The last scan was at 9+5 and baby girl gave us a little wave and wiggle. We could see her little nose and legs.

I am still taking my basal temperature every morning (anyone else doing that?). That was the first sign that something was wrong before but you can imagine we had a couple of days when it moved and it sent my head spinning.

I have done my booking consultation at 8+5 over the phone and did blood and urine the next day at the hospital. My official scan is on 23/06. Fingers crossed it will all be ok. I'm dreading finding out something is wrong after coming this far.

Just getting ready for my scan today- I'm excited and nervous. Feels exactly like it did when I was pregnant with my twin girls so I'm just about 😂😖🤯😭 all those emotions and in that order lool

I am 8+1 today but will get an exact date today
